casually dismiss instructions and seek to gure it out on their own. But studies show that people who read

The Sphere ultrasonic humidier makes any room look stylish and is perfect to provide your personal space
with optimum humidity. The ultrasonic technology produces a cool mist in just a matters of seconds. And
even though the humidier is compact, it is able to run 8-10 hours one a full tank. The additional nightlight
creates a mystical mood and provides convenience during the evening and night. The Sphere’s operation is
whisper quiet and most importantly: it uses 80% less power than traditional humidiers.

Cleaning
Disconnect the adapter before cleaning.
1Wipe all surfaces dry and remove hard water
stains.
2Use a disinfectant wipe to safely get rid of any
bacteria.
3Fill the tank with water and 2 or 3 table spoons
of white vinegar and let it rest for about
20-30 minutes.
4Rinse the base thoroughly to get rid of anything
but water.
5Fill the tank with water and it’s ready to be used
again!
We advise to empty out your humidier every day
and wipe all surfaces dry. Consider using distilled
water to reduce calcication.
Note: DO NOT clean the tank with hot, boiling
water or place in the dishwasher.

6. FAQ
This section lists the questions most frequently
asked about the device. We will regularly update
this section on the product page of our website.
So please keep an eye on www.duux.com if your
question is not listed.
Q. What is the recommended indoor humidity
level?
A. The ideal indoor humidity level is between 40
and 60% relative humidity.
Q. How long does it take to reach the ideal
humidity in a certain room?
A. This depends on a lot of factors. Let us start
o by saying that “relative humidity” is the
amount of moisture in the air compared to
what the air can “hold” at that temperature.
When the air can’t “hold” all the moisture, then it
condenses as dew. The RH that can be reached
depends on the room temperature, usage and
room size. The amount of moisture that can be
released in the air (per hour) is and 220 ml. 1 ml
is equal to 1 gram.
For example, at 20˚C a cubic meter of air
can hold a maximum of 18 grams of water.
At 25˚C, it can hold 22 grams of water. If the
temperature is 25˚C and a cubic meter of air
contains 22 grams of water, then the relative
humidity is 100%. If it contains 11 grams of
water, the relative humidity is 50%. So if a
room is 4 x 2 x 2,5 meters (20 cubic meters)
at a temperature of 25˚C, the air can hold a
maximum of 440 grams of water in the air.
Depending on the current humidity in that
room, it should take just a few hours to reach
the desired relative humidity.
Q. How can I measure the indoor humidity?
A. Instruments that measure relative humidity
are called hygrometers. You can buy them
online or at your local electronic store.
Q. How long should I run the humidier?
A. Do not run for more than 8 hours continuously
to prevent an over humid room. Use a
hygrometer or hygrostat to determine the room
humidity (the ideal relative humidity is between
40% and 60%).
Q. Where can I obtain aromatherapy to use in
this device?
A. Duux oers a various range of aromatherapies
like lavender, eucalyptus and citronella. But
you can also buy it online or at your local
wellness shop. However, always look out
for aromatherapy that is suitable for use in
humidiers. This way you will not damage the
device.
Q. Why do I hear a humming sound when the
device is in use?
A.. There is a small fan located in the top part of
the humidier that blows out mist. The “droplet”
noise is caused by the ultrasonic component.
Don’t worry, it’s normal.
Q. Does temperature inuence the room
humidity?
A. Yes it does. When the temperature in the room
is higher, it can hold more humidity. The ideal
room temperature is between 18 and 20˚C.
Q. Where in the room should I place the
humidier for optimal results?
A. Do not put the humidier in a corner. The rule
of thumb is to keep a meter clearance at the
top, front, and sides for optimal eciency.
Q. Any other eciency tips?
A. Keep all windows and doors closed as much as
possible when the humidier is in use for
optimal results.

Der Sphere Ultraschall-Luftbefeuchter ist nicht nur ein echter Hingucker, er versorgt Ihre Räume auch mit
einem optimalen Maß an Luftfeuchtigkeit. Mit Hilfe der einzigartigen Ultraschalltechnik bildet er in wenigen
Sekunden einen feinen Dunst. Dank seiner kompakten Größe nimmt der Luftbefeuchter kaum Platz ein.
Trotzdem reicht nur eine Wassertankfüllung für 8-10 Stunden konstante Luftbefeuchtung. Das zusätzlich
eingebaute Nachtlicht taucht das Zimmer in mystisches Licht und wird zum angenehmen Begleiter am
Abend und in der Nacht. Sphere arbeitet fast geräuschlos und am wichtigsten: er verbraucht 80% weniger
Strom als herkömmliche Luftbefeuchter.

Wir empfehlen den Luftbefeuchter jeden
Tag zu leeren und die Oberäche regelmäßig
abzutrocknen. Verwenden Sie möglichst
destilliertes Wasser, um Kalkablagerungen zu
vermeiden.

F. Welches Maß an Luftfeuchtigkeit
empfehlen Sie in geschlossenen Räumen?
A. Idealerweise liegt die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit in
geschlossenen Räumen zwischen 40 und 60%.
F. Wie lange dauert es bis die ideale
Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum erreicht ist?
A. Das ist von verschiedenen Faktoren abhängig.
Die „relative Feuchtigkeit“ eines Raumes
entspricht der Wassermenge in der Luft
verglichen zum Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der Luft bei
Raumtemperatur. Wenn die Luft nicht die
gesamte Feuchtigkeit „halten“ kann, kondensiert
das Wasser und es bildet sich Tau. „Relative
Luftfeuchtigkeit“ hängt also von den drei
Faktoren Raumtemperatur, Raumgröße und
Raumnutzung ab. Die maximal erreichbare
Luftfeuchtigkeit pro Stunde liegt bei 220 ml,
1ml entspricht dabei 1 g.
Beispiele: Bei 20°C kann 1 Kubikmeter Luft
18 g Wasser halten. Bei 25°C sind es schon
22 g. Bei einer Raumtemperatur von 25°C und
einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 22 g liegt die relative
Feuchtigkeit bei 100%. Enthält die Luft nur 11 g
Feuchtigkeit, erreicht die relative Feuchtigkeit
nur 50%. Bei einer Raumgröße von 4 x 2 x 2,5
Meter (20 Kubikmeter) und einer
Raumtemperatur von 25°C, kann die Luft
maximal 440 g Wasser „halten“. Je nach
sonstiger Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum, sollte es nur
wenige Stunden dauern bis das gewünschte
Level an Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum erreicht ist.
F. Wie kann ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum

Weitere Düfte können online oder bei Wellness-
oder Kosmetikgeschäften gekauft werden.
Achten Sie immer darauf, dass die Aromaöle
explizit für die Verwendung in Luftbefeuchtern
gekennzeichnet sind, um das Gerät nicht zu
beschädigen.
F. Warum höre ich ein Brummen, wenn das
Gerät arbeitet?
A. Im oberen Teil des Geräts ist ein Gebläse
eingebaut, über das der feine Nebel
ausgestoßen wird. Das tropfende Geräusch
entsteht durch die Ultraschall-Membran. Keine
Sorge, diese Geräusche sind völlig normal.
F. Hat die Raumtemperatur Einuss auf die
Luftfeuchtigkeit?
A. Ja. Je wärmer ein Raum, desto mehr Wasser
kann die Raumluft binden. Idealerweise liegt die
Raumtemperatur zwischen 18 und 20°C.
F. Wo stelle ich den Luftreiniger auf, um ihn
möglichst optimal zu nutzen?
A. Stellen Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht in eine Ecke
des Raums. Geben Sie dem Gerät mindestens
1m Abstand zu allen Seiten, damit es ezient
arbeiten kann.
F. Was empfehlen Sie darüber hinaus, um das
Gerät möglichst ezient zu nutzen?
A. Schließen Sie Fenster und Türen während der
Luftbefeuchter eingeschaltet ist, um optimale
Ergebnisse zu erzielen.
