e-pill® MedTime Station
Locked Automatic Pill Dispenser with Station
Introduction
The e-pill MedTime Station is designed to remind and dispense pills according
to the patient’s dosing schedule, reminding by means of auditory alarm and
flashing light. The dispenser will make the correct dose available at the
correct time, keeping all other pills secure via a locked lid. The metal Station
makes dispensing pills for those with dexterity concerns easy. No more spilled
pills.
Note 1: e-pill MedTime Station is locked but it is not tamperproof, therefore it
should not be used to administer pain medications or Schedule II/III drugs.
Note 2: Do not place e-pill MedTime Station in bright direct sunlight as it may
cause operational issues.
How it Works
At dose time the alarm will sound, and the internal tray will rotate making the
correct dose available. Pull the blue handle towards you to release the correct
dose and silence the alarm. If the handle is not pulled, the alarm will continue
for 1 hour. Doses in the dispensing window will remain available to the
patient until the next dose time.

dispenser. Important: Never force the tray to rotate.
2. e-pill MedTime Station comes with six different dosing templates. The
templates identify the number of alarms per day and, very importantly,
the time of the day that you are filling the tray.
3. Fill the compartments counterclockwise using the dosing template as a
guide. Important: Do not overfill the compartments.
Begin to Use
1. Place the tray into the dispenser. The next dose will be the first
compartment to the right of the slot located directly at 6 o’clock. At each
alarm time the try will rotate clockwise 1 compartment. Important:
Never force the tray to rotate.
2. Close the lid.
3. Turn the dispenser over and lock the dispenser. Important: The
dispenser’s lock should only be turned ¼ of a turn. Overturning the key
can cause the lock to break.
Congratulations
Your e-pill MedTime Station is now 100% setup.

Error Handling
Error: Medications Will Not Dispense When Pulling the Handle
Solutions:
1. With the metal base securely fastened, pull the blue handle all the way
to the bump stop.
2. Check all compartments for stuck pills.
a. Gel-caps: Adding a thin coating of standard baking flour to the
compartments can help prevent blockage.
b. Tablets: Use a pill splitter to split large tablets into smaller pieces.
Error: Dispensing Will Not Silence the Alarm
Solution:
1. The batteries are near depletion. Look for the low batter icon
Replace all 4 AA batteries immediately. Only use alkaline.
Note: If replacing the batteries does not solve the error, then the
dispenser has been misused and is therefore not covered under
warranty.
Error: Error Message/Rotation Issue
The dispenser has been shaken, dropped, transported (with the batteries still
in the unit) or the tray has been tampered with. Tampering of the tray is often
due to the patient putting a finger into the dispensing window and forcing the
tray to rotate in order to gain access to their medication(s) prior to the
scheduled time. This error message/issue occurs when the dispenser has been
misused and is therefore not covered under warranty.
Solution:
1. We offer repair services. Give us a call at 1-800-549-0095.
General Information
Blank Screen
The dispenser will turn off its display in order to increase battery life.
Medications will still be dispensed at alarm time. To wake up the display, pull
the handle all the way to the bump stop to simulate dispensing.
Lock
The dispenser’s lock is designed to only be turned a ¼ of a turn to either lock
or unlock. Overturning the key will cause the lock to break.

Low Battery Alert
Indicates the batteries are running low. Replace immediately.
Battery Replacement
The dispenser’s clock and alarm times are saved when replacing the batteries,
but this is only true if replacement is done prior to the batteries reaching
100% depletion. The new batteries should be inserted within 5 minutes of the
old batteries being removed so the dispenser’s clock and alarm times stay
saved. After replacing the batteries, do check the clock and alarm times to
verify their accuracy.
Station (metal base) is Sliding
The Station has 4 large suctions cups at each corner. To mount securely, press
down firmly at each corner.
Cleaning
Remove the medication tray from the dispenser and wipe down the tray with
a damp cloth. Replace when fully dry. Important: Never force the tray to
rotate.
