BEFORE USE
Keys description
• The Number keys:Inputnumbersandcharacters;customise
numberkeys2-9astheshortcutsofquickdial.
• The Right soft key:Executethefunctionsdisplayedinlower
rightcornerofthescreen.Andyoucanuseittodeletethe
anteriorletternearthecursorwhichyouhaveinputinthe
messageorexittheinterfaceofeditingwhenthereisno
letterinthemessage.
• The Left soft key:Executethefunctionsdisplayedinlower
leftcornerofthescreen.Inthestandbystate,pressitto
enter Main menu.
• The Dial key:Itisusedtomakeaphonecallandanswerthe
incomingcallsforSIM1orSIM2;instandbystate,adjustthe
recordoftheMissedcalls,theDialedcallsandtheReceived
callsforSIM1andSIM2.
• The Hang_Up key:Itisusedtoendacallorrejectan
incomingcall.Generallypressthiskeytoreturntostandby.
Pressandholdthiskeytoopen/closethemobilephone.
• Up/down key:Pressittobrowsenames,telephone
numbers,SMS,MMS,submenusandsoon;movecursor

Note: In this manual, press a key means to press the key
and release; press and hold a key means to press the key
and hold for no less than 2 seconds.
Lateral key description
• TheTorchkeyandtheFMkey:Inthestandbystate,press
andholdtheTorchkeytoturnonorturnoffthetorchinthe
phone,pressandholdtheFMkeytoentertheFMradio;
generallypressthetwokeystomagnifyorreducethe
volume;theycanalsobeusedtosettheparametersfor
some menus.
• SOS key:Onthebackofthephone,thereisaSOSkey.If
theSOSnumberandtheSOSmessagehavebeenedited
andsaved,whenpressingandholdingthiskey,thephone
willdialtheSOSnumberaftersendingoutanSOSmessage
totheappointednumbers.

Battery
Thebatteryinoriginalstatehasabout50%electricityquantity
andyoucanuseitafterunpacking.Itperformsbestafterfull
charge/dischargefortherstthreetimes.
Charging the battery
• Plugthechargerintowallsocket.
• Inserttheplugofthechargerintothebottomofmobilephone
(keepthesurfacewitharrowupwards).
• Ifthemobilephoneisonwhenbeingcharged,theelectricity
quantityindicatoronupperrightcornerofthescreenwill
beashingcircularly;ifthemobilephoneisoffwhenbeing
charged,achargingindicatorimagewillappearonthe
screenwhichindicatesthebatteryisbeingcharged.Ifthe
mobilephoneisstillusedwhenbatteryislow,thecharging
indicatorwillappearafterbeingchargedforawhile.
• Whenchargingisnished,therewillbeoneimagedisplayed
onthescreenwhichindicatesthatcharginghasnished.If
themobilephoneison,thebatterystatusindicatoronupper
rightcornerofthescreeniscompleteandwon’tash.Itmay
take3-4hourstofullychargethebattery.Itisnormalthatthe
battery,mobilephoneandchargergethotwhencharging.
• DisconnecttheACoutletfrommobilephoneandcharger
whenchargingiscomplete.
Note:
• Usechargerapprovedbymanufacturertochargein
ventilatedplaceswithtemperaturebetween5°Cand40°C.
Itisdangeroustouseanunauthorizedchargerandyouwill
alsoviolatethewarrantyclause.
• Pleasechargethebatteryintimeifthemobilephone
automaticallyswitchesofforindicates“Lowbattery”.Ifthe
batteryhasn’tbeenrunoutbeforecharging,thecharging
timewillbeshortenedautomatically.
• Thestandbyandcalltimeprovidedbymanufacturerare
basedonidealworkingenvironment.Theworkingtime
ofbatterydependsonnetworkstatus,environmentand
operatingmethodinpractice.
• Makesurethebatteryisinstalledproperlybeforecharging
anddon’tremovethebatteryduringcharging.
• Disconnectthechargerfrommobilephoneandpowersupply
aftercharging.
• Ifyoudon’tdisconnectthechargerfrompowersupplyand
mobilephone,themobilephonewillbechargedagain(after
about5to8hours)andtheenergyofthebatteryiswasted
toacertaindegree.Itisnotrecommendedbecauseitwilldo
harmtotheperformanceandservicelifeofthebattery.
Connecting to network
SIM card
YoumustinsertatleastonevalidSIMcardbeforeusingyour
mobilephone.SIMcardisthekeyforyoutoaccessdigital
GSM/GPRSnetwork.
Allinformationaboutnetworkconnectionandcallinitialization,
aswellasthenamesandtelephonenumbersofContactsand
shortmessagesyouhavereceivedandsaved,arerecorded
inthemetalsurfaceareaoftheSIMcard.Youcanremovethe
SIMcardfromyourmobilephoneandinsertitintoanyother
GSMmobilephone(thenewmobilephonewillreadtheSIM
cardautomatically).
DonottouchthemetalsurfaceareaandkeeptheSIMcard
awayfromelectricityandmagnetismtoavoidlosingor
damagingtheinformationsavedinSIMcard.Youcan’taccess
GSM/GPRSnetworkiftheSIMcardisdamaged.
Warning: Please switch off the mobile phone before
removing SIM card. Inserting or removing SIM card with
external power supply is prohibited, otherwise the SIM
card may be damaged.

Installing/removing SIM card
TheSIMcardisusuallystoredinacardandyouneedtotakeit
outcarefullybeforeinstalling.
• Turnoffthemobilephone;removebatteryandexternal
powersupply.
• InserttheSIMcardintotheslotorpullouttheSIMcardfrom
theslot.
Note: Please turn off the mobile phone and remove battery
before removing SIM card.
Switching on/off
PressandholdtheHang_Upkeytoswitchon/offthemobile
phone.
IfyouswitchonthemobilephonebeforeinsertingtheSIM
card,itpromptsyoutoinserttheSIMcard.Themobilephone
checkswhethertheSIMcardisvalidautomaticallyafteritis
inserted.
Thefollowingpromptsappearonthescreeninsequencewhen
themobilephoneisjustswitchingon:
• Inputphonepassword–Ifthepasswordofthephonehas
been set.
• InputPIN–IfthepasswordoftheSIMcardhasbeenset.
• Searching–Themobilephoneissearchingforavailable
network.
ThefunctionofthedoubleSIMcard–Forthesakeofmaking
yourusageconvenient,thiscellularphonetakesapairofSIM
cardsfunctions.YouhavetoinsertavalidSIMcardinsidethe
twoSIMcardslotsbeforethisfunctioncanbeused.Turnon
yourphoneandthenitwillenterthefunctionofdualSIMcards
automatically.
Connecting to network
• Themobilephonewillsearchfornetworkautomaticallyafter
theSIMcardisdecryptedsuccessfully(display“Searching
fornetwork”onthescreen).Thenameofnetworkoperator
willappearinthestandbystateofthephoneonceconnected.
Note: If there is prompt of “EMERGENCY” on the screen,
it means that you are out of the normal coverage area
(service area) of the network, but you can still make an
emergency call according to the signal intensity.
Making a phone call
Whentheoperatorsymbolofthenetworkappearsonthe
screen,youcanmakeoranswercalls.Thesymbolinthe
topleftcornerofthescreenshowsthesignalstrengthofthe
network.
Ifthesignalstrengthislow,trymovingaroundwiththephone
untilthesignalbecomesstronger.
Making local telephone calls
Inputthetelephonenumberusingthenumberkeys,thenpress
theDialkeytostartcalling.Ifyouneedchangeanumber,
pleasepressRightsoftkeytodeletethenumber(s).The
screenwillshowamovingpicturewhenyouaredialingthe
number.Youshouldthenheartheconnectingsound.Ifthereis
aproblemconnectingyoumayneednetworksupport.
AfteryourconversationisoverpleasepresstheHang_Up
keytoendthecall.

Dialling a xed telephone extension
Somexedtelephoneextensionscan’tdialdirectly.You
needtodialswitchboardrst,thendialextensionnumber.
Ifyouinserttheletter“P”,thesignforpausingbetweenthe
switchboardnumberandtheextensionnumberwhenyou
inputtelephonenumber,thismachinewillcompletethefull
numberforyouandconnecttotheextensionautomatically.
Themethodofinputting“P”ispressingthe*key(thescreen
willshowtheletter“P”atthistime).

Making an international call
Ifyouwanttomakeaninternationalcall,youcanpressand
holdthe*keyuntilthescreenappearstheprexsign“+”,for
internationallong-distancecalls.Thenentertheregionprex
number(forexample,itis00inChina).Thenenterthenational
areacodeandthephonenumber.Nationalareacodesfor
exampleare,Germany49,England44,Sweden46etc.
Assimilarastomakeausualinternationalcall,youdon’tenter
therst“0”oftheSTDcode.
Forexample,ifyouwanttodialthehotlineforservicefrom
othercountries,youshouldenter:

Emergency call
Ifyouareinaplacethatthenetworkcovers(thisisshown
bytheintensityofthenetworksignalontheupperleftofthe
screen),youcanmakeanemergencycall.Ifyournetwork
supplierdoesn’tprovidetheserviceofroaminginthatregion,
thescreenwillshow“limiturgentcall(EMERGENCY)”,telling
youthatyoucanonlymakeanemergencycall.Ifyouare
inaplacethatthenetworkcovers,youcanalsomakean
emergencycallwithoutaSIMcard.
Answering the telephone
Intheanswermode,ifyouhave“Anykey”switchedOn,
youcanpressanykeytoansweracall;otherwiseyouneed
presstheDialkeyortheLeftsoftkeytoansweracall.If
youhaveearphonesinserted,youcanalsousethebutton
oftheearphonetoanswerthecall.Youcansetthephoneto
answerautomaticallywhenwearingearphones,thisallowsthe
telephoneanswerthecall5secondsafteritbeginstoring.

Whenthephoneisonstandby,presstheLeftsoftkeyorthe
OKkeytoaccessMainmenu;inallmenusandsubmenus,
youcanenterorexitthemenubypressingtheLeftsoftkeyor
theRightsoftkey.
Exit:Generally,youcanpresstheRightsoftkeytoreturn
tothepreviousmenu;presstheHang_Upkeytoreturnto
standby.
Phonebook
YoucanusethefunctionofthePhonebooktorecord
informationforyourcontacts.Themobilephonecansave500
telephonenumbers.
AfteraccessingthePhonebook,gotoAddnewcontact,
Option,youwillthenseethefollowingsubmenus:
• Select:YoucanchoosetostoreinformationtoSIM1,to
SIM2ortophone.
• Caller groups:Addnewgroup;changeeachgroupbygroup
name,calleralertandcallerringtone.
Phonebook settings:Thisisdividedintoeighttinyparts,
includingPreferredstorage,Familynumbers,Mynumber,
Extranumbers,Memorystatus,Copycontacts,Move
