WhichiswhyyouneedthissuperLeafSweeper.Notmotorised,sothere’snonoise,petrol
fumesortrailingelectriccables,youjustgentlypushitalongandstrollbehind.Revolving
brushesmadefromtoughnylonwhiskleaves,twigs,grassandothergardendebrisintothe
roomycollectingbag,readyforcompostingormulching.Suitableforanysizelawn,theheight
ofthebrushesadjuststothreedifferentheightssoitworksjustaswellonpaths,drives,

ASSEMBLY
1. Attachthehandlesupports(b)tothehandlebar
(a)usinghandleconnectors(c),2xM5bolt(s)
and2xM5lockingnut(r).
2. Attachassembledhandlesectiontothe
sweeperbody(m)byinserting4xM5
bolts(s)fromtheinsideofthesweeper
body,throughtheholesonthebottom
ontheassembledhandlesectionand
securingusingM5washers(e)andM5
lockingnuts(r).
3. Attachedleftandrightsupportslegs(p&q)tothesweeperbody(m)andsecureusing4mmx3/4in
screws(u).
4. Inserthopperframesiderod(h)intothesleevetop
cornerofthehopperbag(g)withthethreadedend
rst.Repeatfortheotherside.

8. Presstogethertheholesandpinsatthetopofthebrushes(n)toform4sets.
9. Holdtheassembledbrushsetstogetherandslideeachsetintothegroovesontherotoruntileach
setclicksintoplace.Slotcanbewidenedbylooseningcentralscrew,ensurethisisre-tightened
after insertion.
10.Cliptheassembledhopperintopositiononthehandleandslottheconnectorsintotherecesseson
thesweeperbody(m).
5. Insertthehopperframebaserod(i)intothe
sleeveonthebottomofthehopperbag(g).
6. Connectthehopperframesiderods(h)togetherusingtop
frameconnector(j).Connectthehopperframebaserod(i)to
theassembledframebyconnectinghopperframeconnector
right(k)andthreadedendofhopperframeconnectorleft(l)
tothethreadedendsofthehopperframesiderods(h).
Connectbothconnectorstothehopperframebaserod(i)
ensuringtheshorterhorizontalttingontheconnectorsare
facingoutwards.
7. Attachthehoppercrossbar(d)tothehandleandassembledhopperensuringthehopperrods
andthehandleclicksecurelyintoplacewiththeclipsonthehoppercrossbar(d).Ensurethisis
ttedcorrectlywiththehopperrodsclippingintothehoppercrossbar(b)fromabove.Ifassembled
incorrectly,thehoppercandetachduringuse.

• WhenusingonaslopealwayspushtheLeafSweeperacrossthesloperatherthanupordown
theslope.

• Adjustthebrushheightifthebrushesjamfrequentlyorifthesweepingperformanceisreduced.
• Notrecommendedforuseonlonggrassoverapprox.6cm(21/2in)inlength.
• Afteranextendedperiodwithoutuse,checkallxingsaresecureandcheckallmovingpartsand
lubricate if necessary.
BEFORE USE
• Adjusttheheightoftheleafsweepingbrushestothedesiredlevel.
-Thelowersettingsaresuitableforallsurfaces
-Themiddlesettingsforwet,slipperyorroughandloosesurfaces
-ThehighersettingsformaintenanceandmovingtheLeafSweeper.
• Tosettothedesiredheight,loosentheknobonthefrontofthesweeperbodyandafteradjustingto
thedesiredheight,re-tightentheknobsecurely.
• Alwayscheckthatthenuts,bolts&screwsaresecureandtightenifnecessary.
• Ensuretheareatobesweptisclearofobstructionsbeforeuse.
• Afteranextendedperiodwithoutuse,checkallxingsaresecureandcheckallmovingpartsand
lubricate if necessary.
DURING USE
• Takecaretoavoidinjurytongerswhenadjustingthemachine.
• Takeextracarewhenchangingdirectionorworkingonaslope.
• Keepthemachineuprightatalltimes.
• DoNOTapplyheavydownwardforcewhenoperating.Thiswillcausegreaterfrictiontotheground
andmaycausedamagetothebrushes.
• Wherepossible,operatedownwind.
AFTER USE
• Emptyleafcollectionbag.
• Cleanafteruse.
• Allowleafcollectionbagtodrybeforere-attaching.
• Storeinacool,dryplace.
CLEANING
• Brushescanberemovedforcleaningandre-ttedaspertheassemblyinstructions.
• Wipethehoppercleanwithasoftdampcloth.
• Periodicallybrushanyleafdebrisormudfromaroundthewheelstopreventthemlocking.
