EAW MS165 User manual

The MS-165 represents an extension of EAW's engineering effort
to produce studio monitors with true flat response over the entire
listening area for quality assurance in audio production applications.
The use of a small, high output, specially dampened, cone driver for
the midband eliminates the problem of polar response in this critical
region. This results in considerably better response linearity off axis
than the popular two-way designs with large woofers.
The MS-165's wide bandwidth, high power handling and flat
response combine with its efficiency to result in powerful output
capabilities for larger mixdown and mastering applications. These
same features make the MS-165 ideal for high level playback
applications.
