This child seatsuitablechildren from new-born to 13 kg (Group 0+) and from
9kg to 18kg(Group1).
Pleasereadthisinstructioncarefullyotherwiseincorrectinstallationmay cause
serious injury. In this case,themanufacturer willnottakeanyresponsibility.
Onlysuitableforuseinthelistedvehicles fitted with 3 pointsafety-belts,
approved to ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
Thechildrestraintmustnotbeusedwithoutthecover.
Theseatcovershouldnot be replacedwithanyotherthantheone
recommended by themanufacturer, becausethecoverconstitutesanintegralpart of
therestraintperformance.
Seat and harnessassemblies whichgetdamaged or become worn must be
replaced.
Make sure the harnessbuckle is completely locked.Inthe event of an
emergency, thechildcan be releasedquickly.
If there werenochildplaced inthechildseat,thechildseatstillshould be
fastened by thevehiclesafetybelt.

The rigiditemsandplasticparts ofachildrestraintmust be so locatedand
installedthattheyarenotliable,duringeverydayuseofthe vehicle, to become
trapped by a movable seat or inadoorofthevehicle.
Any strapsholdingthe restrainttothe vehicleshould be tight,anystraps
restraining the child should be adjusted to the child's body, and straps should not be
twisted.
Theimportance of ensuring that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the
pelvis is firmly engaged, shall be stressed.
Thedevice should be changed when it hasbeensubject to violent stresses in an
accident.
A generalwarningshall be given to the userconcerningthedanger of making
anyalterations or additions to the device withouttheapproval of thecompetent
authority, andadanger of notfollowingcloselytheinstallationinstructions
provided by thechildrestraintmanufacturer.
Whenthechairisnotprovided withatextilecover, thechairshould be kept
awayfrom sunlight,otherwise it may be too hot for the child’s skin.
Do notleaveanychild inachildrestraintsystemunattended.

Installingyourchildintothechildseat
Checktheheight of the
shoulder strap. If it is unsuitable,
you shouldadjust the strap’s height.
Presstheadjusterandatthe
sametimepull outtheharness,
Releasethebuckle by slidingthe
red button downwards.
Placeyourchild in the seatand
checktheheightoftheshoulder
strapsforcorrectpositioning.The
shoulder strapsmust be threaded
throughthe slots in thecoverand
seatshellthatareclosesttothetop
of yourchild’s shoulders.
To adjusttheheight of the
shoulderstraps, release the hook,
takeouttheharnessstrapsfromit.
Pullthe strapsthrough to thefront
of the seat.
Threadtheshoulder strapsthrough
the sameheightslots in theseat cover
andshell,makesurethe straps are not
twistedandboth strapsare at the same
height. Attachtheshoulder straps
securely to thehookand fasten the
shoulder strapcords.
You must ensure
theshoulder strapsarenottwisted.
Withtheharnessopen, place
yourchildintothechildseat.Place
theshoulder straps overyourchild’s
shoulders. Fastenthebuckle by
bringing together the two prongs of
the harnessstrap and push into the
buckleuntil you hearaclick, restrain
childbypullingtheadjusterstrap.

Placethechildseatcentrally
ontothepassenger seat.Thefront
of thechildseatmust be pushed
firmlyagainstthebackofthe
vehicleseat.Pull off approximately
ametreoflapanddiagonalbeltand
routethetwo beltsasfollows:
Lapsection:Threadthelap
sectionundertheseatpull it
throughthelapbeltrouting slotand
intointhebeltpathway as shown.
Diagonal section:Pullthe
diagonal sectionthroughthe slot at
theback of the seatand wrap it
aroundtheback of the seat.
Insertthelapanddiagonalbelt
intothe seatbeltbuckle. You will
hear a clickwhenitiscorrectly
inserted.
Finallycheckthatthe seat is
firmand secure. If it is wobbly or
slack,youmusttightenboth belts
againuntilthe seat is secure.
Pullthelapanddiagonal
seatbelttightly.
