- Do not install t is Fan Coil yourself, but apply to aut orised installers for
installation.
- Avoid prolonged direct contact wit t e cool airflow.
- Do not insert fingers or objects into t e air vent or t e front cover grille.
- Do not start or stop t e fan coil by means of t e mains circuit breaker or power
switc .
- Do not place objects on top of t e fan coil.
- Do not allow water to come into direct contact wit t e fan coil.
- Do not direct t e airflow towards fireplaces or eating appliances.
- Do not touc t e fins of t e eat exc anger.
- Do not block or cover t e front cover or t e air vent.
- Contact aut orised after-sales service personnel for any repair.
- In t e event of relocation, call aut orised after-sales service personnel for
removal and re-installation of t e unit.
- In t e event of malfunction (smell of burning, etc.), stop appliance operation
immediately and contact t e aut orised after-sales service centre.
- Disconnect from t e electricity supply w en t e unit is not going to be used
for a long time.
- Take all precautions to prevent c ildren from accidentally swallowing t e
remote control batteries.
- Always disconnect from t e electricity supply by pulling out t e plug w en
cleaning t e fan coil or c anging t e air filter.
- Remove t e batteries from t e remote control w en it is not going to be used
for a long time.
- Always use t e unit wit t e air filter installed.
- Install t e fan coil and t e remote control at least one metre away from any
television or radio.
- During installation of t e appliances, take precautions to prevent c ildren
aving access to t e working area.
- Make sure t at t e front cover as been firmly secured.
PLACE OF INSTALLATION
Decide on t e position toget er wit t e user, as described below.
- Install t e indoor unit on a solid and vibration-free wall.
- Do not position t e fan coil near windows or doors or any curtains t at could
obstruct t e airflow direction louvers or flaps.
- Do not install t e fan coil near sources of eat, steam or inflammable gases.
- Install t e fan coil so it is connected directly to an electrical outlet or to an
independent circuit.
- Do not install t e unit in a place w ere it is exposed to direct sunlig t.
- Install t e fan coil in a place w ere it is easy to install t e drain pipes.
- Leave t e space as s own in fig. 01 to facilitate any repairs.

Whenever the unit is to be used in the heating mode, installation

INSTALLATION WITH SIMPLE MOUNTING PLATE
T e met od of installing t e wall-mounted water-filled fan coil of t e
DEN range is s own below.
Take into account t e following:
- looking at t e unit from t e front, t e supply pipes go from rig t to left.
- t e system pipes must come from t e left.
SIZE OF WATER AND CONDENSATE DRAIN FITTINGS
Take two oses wit 1/2" fitting and connect to t e system pipes. T ese
pipes must be lagged.
Fix t e fan coil mounting plate to t e wall.

IMPORTANT!
It is recommended that wall-mounted water-filled fan coils be installed with
on-off devices.

4) Position t e fan coil on t e mounting plate.
5) Tilt t e fan coil and insert t e relative polystyrene foam spacer so
t at t e valves can be easily reac ed and connected to t e appliance
and to t e mains water supply (fig. 15)
9) Fix t e condensate drain ose wit silicone (fig. 19)
Proceed as s own in fig. 10 to assemble t e mounting plate.
1) Identify t e position on t e wall w ere t e fan coil is to be installed
and create a nic e wit t e dimensions s own in fig. 11.

2) Cover the bottom edge of the niche with a steel angle bar (NOT
supplied). Apply t e mounting plate and fix it using four screws and
four screw anc ors in t e relative oles (fig. 12).

3) Fix t e condensate collecting tray by inserting two self-tapping screws into t e
relative oles (fig. 17).
T e external surface of t e tray must be flus wit t e wall.
6) Connect t e oses to t e fan coil supply pipes and t e condensate
drain ose (fig. 16)
7) Connect t e valve to t e connecting oses (fig. 17)
8) Fix t e bracket for securing t e condensate drain ose and t e
connecting oses on t e condensate collecting tray (fig. 18)

CA TION! THE CONDENSATE COLLECTING TRAY M ST BE FIXED SO THAT IT
SLOPES GENTLY DOWNWARDS TOWARDS THE CONDENSATE DRAIN O TLET
(fig. 20).
1) Mark t e position on t e wall w ere t e fan coil is to be installed, t en
apply t e mounting plate and fix it with two screws and screw anchors
in the relative holes.
2) Position t e cross rail of t e frame (A) on top of t e mounting plate
previously fixed to t e wall.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
WIRING
Strip t e connecting cable for a lengt of 15 mm (fig. 24). Fully insert
t e wires of t e connecting cable into t e terminal block terminals. Gently
pull t e cable to make sure t at t ey are firmly fixed.
CA TION!
1) Firmly insert the wires of the connecting cable into the terminal block.
Incorrect insertion could cause a short circuit or fire.
2) Check that the earth wire is connected.
3) Carry out the wiring in conformity with current wiring regulations to
ensure correct fan coil operation.
4) Before connecting to the mains power supply, ensure that the voltage
is within the working power limit ± 10%.
5) Always use a separate line.
6) The cable must have no joints.
7) All the units must be properly earthed to ensure user safety.
8) The capacity of the energy source must be sufficient to provide current
to the fan coil and to other electrical equipment. If the working current
capacity is insufficient, the system must be adapted.

5) Repeat points 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of t e previous section.
N.B.:
- Do not bend or damage the enclosed mounting plate.
- Comply with the measurement highlighted in fig. 10.
- The base of th
e enclosed mounting plate must pro ect by 9-10 mm from the wall.
- The condensate collecting tray must always be flush with the wall.
INSTALLATION WITH VALVES AND OUTER FRAME
Proceed as s own in fig. 21 to assemble t e mounting plate.
IMPORTANT! It is recommended that wall-mounted water-filled fan coils be
installed with on-off devices.
