As when installing or using any high voltage electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always
be followed. Under no circumstances should you attempt to clean, install, inspect, repair, disassemble,
or otherwise service this water heater without first shutting off all power to the unit directly at the
breaker box.
SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR IF YOU IGNORE THIS WARNING. FAILURE TO DO SO
COULD CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE OR SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, AND VOID YOUR
WARRANTY, THIS WATER HEATER MUST BE INSTALLED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN AND PLUMBER;
PROOF OF INSTALLATION MUST ACOMPANY THE WARRANTY CARD.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL RECOMMENDATIONS
AND LOCAL CODE REQUIREMENTS.

TURN OFF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY MAIN AND WATER SUPPLY
BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY INSTALLATION!
DO NOT TURN ON ELECTRIC OR WATER SUPPLY
UNTIL INSTALLATION IS PROPERLY COMPLETED.
•DO NOT remove the heater cover, open the unit or break the seal. This could cause DEATH OR
INJURY and will VOID THE WARRANTY.
•DO NOT Install Heater, in a shower or any where it can be reached or adjusted by anyone while
using water.
•DO NOT Operate the unit if water ceases to flow during use. Contact technical support for this or

Part Identification

This water heater is supplied with 1/2" compression fittings, Do not weld, solder, use
Teflon or paste. Connect the cold water supply line to the right hand side. Connect the
hot water outlet line to the left hand side.
Plumbing
Once both water lines are fastened and secured you must run water through the unit
for at least 2 to 3 minutes to flush any air pockets (purging) in the lines. It is
recommended that all faucets, showers etc be run. Failure to follow this step can
cause permanent damage to the unit. This procedure MUST be performed before any
electrical power is turned on.

Electrical Connection
The electrical installation is based on the different Models. Unit must be installed
to independent double pole breakers as per Model Specs below

Check all wires to make sure they are securely fastened and tightened. Before
turning the power on make sure the system has been purged as required in the
plumbing section. When the unit is powered up the GREEN LED indicator light will
turn ON and then OFF.

How to use the knob
Power
•Click the power knob, the unit will
turn on
•Click the power knob again, the unit
will turn off
°C/F Conversion
•Press the knob for 3 seconds, the
display will change
Temperature Control
•Turning it clock wise increases the
temperature setting
•Turning it counter-clockwise will
decrease the temperature setting
You can set or adjust your temperature at any time between 80°F-140°F (4.4°C -
60°C) The temperature can be changed to your desired setting. The Temperature
Indicator light will only stay on when there is hot water in use.
