For optimal operation and to benet fully from the heat and sense of well-being given by your Sauna and Hammam/

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 WARNINGS AND SAFETY SYMBOLS
Whenever you see one of these symbols in the manual you must read the information given alongside as it is vital to ensure
correct use of your steam generator. Failure to read and take into account the information could seriously compromise the
safety of both objects and people.

1.2 INTENDED USE
The product must be used exclusively in the ways and for the purposes for
which it was designed. Any other usage is to be considered improper and
therefore hazardous.
ANY OTHER APPLICATION IS NOT CONSIDERED USE FOR THE INTENDED
PURPOSE.
THE MANUFACTURER CANNOT BE MADE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE
OR HARM RESULTING FROM INCORRECT USE.
As the appliance contains live electrical components and hot surfaces, all servicing and/or maintenance
must be executed by an experienced and qualied technician taking all the necessary precautions.
Read the Assembly manual.
This manual is an integral part of the product and should be kept in a safe, accessible place.

1.3 WARNINGS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Children should not use Spas without adult supervision.
The equipment must not be used by children under the age of 8 and by people with reduced
physical, sensorial or mental capabilities or those lacking the necessary experience or knowledge,
other than under supervision, or if they have been given instructions for the safe use of the equip-
ment and therefore understand the risks involved in its use. Do not allow children to play with the
equipment.
Any cleaning and maintenance to be done by the user must not be done by children without
supervision.
People using medications and/or having an adverse medical history should consult a physician
before using a Spa.
Use of the Hammam/Turkish bath by people (adults or children) with impaired physical, sensorial
or mental capacities that may prevent the Hammam/Turkish bath being used in total safety must
be supervised or given special instructions.
People with infectious diseases should not use a Spa.
Carefully follow all the safety instructions and hazard warnings issued by the authorities of
individual countries.
Always carry out the prescribed checks, inspections and scheduled maintenance (see Chapter 7
of this manual).
To avoid injury, exercise care when entering or exiting the Spa.
Pregnant or possibly pregnant women should consult a physician before using a Spa.
Do not use a Spa immediately following strenuous exercise.
Do not permit electric appliances (such as a light, telephone, radio, or television) within 5‘ of this
Spa.
Maintain water chemistry in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Be careful when using the equipment because of the release of hot water steam.
Disconnect the equipment during relling and cleaning.
Take great care using the Turkish bath. The steam diuser emits hot steam . Do not touch the
steam diuser.
The use of alcohol or drugs can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia in Spas.
Do not, for any reason, remove the adhesive labels xed to the generator. If these deteriorate,
order replacements.
Use of the steam generator for any purposes other than those for which it has been specically
designed in strictly prohibited.
Enter the Turkish bath cubicle once it is full of steam.
All users must be informed and given instructions about how to use it.
Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees
above the normal body temperature of 98.6 °F.
The symptoms of hyperthermia include drowsiness, lethargy, and an increase in the internal
temperature of the body.
The eects of hyperthermia include
- Unawareness of impending hazard;
- Failure to perceive heat;
- Failure to recognize the need to exit spa;
- Physical inability to exit spa;
- Fetal damage in pregnant women;
- Unconsciousness.
The steam and warm air outlet is located in the area underneath the column. Do not cover or
place objects in this area since this may interfere with the proper functioning of the equipment.
The front panel of the steam generator is made of glass and therefore pay attention to the heat.
When installing the appliance all the precautions necessary for glass must be taken.

While using the turkish bath, pay attention to the wet oor that may be slippery.
Make sure that the cabin door is fully closed, before starting the Hammam/turkish bath.
Do not introduce other electrical appliances into the steam generator or bring them into the
Hammam/Turkish bath cucible.
Do not introduce animals in the cabin.
Never place in the cabin other objects.

2 SCOPE OF THE MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to provide a guide to the proper use and maintenance of a NUVOLA SMART POWER product.
Keeping your product in good working order depends largely on eective cleaning and maintenance (see chapter 7 of this
manual).
Therefore it is extremely important to learn how to clean and maintain it properly.
The instructions for the functions and ways to use the product provide only the necessary basic information and only
experience can teach you how to get the best out of it and to exploit its full potential for meeting the needs of your body.
The NUVOLA SMART POWER has been built in compliance with the following mandatory safety standards:
- CSA Standard C22.2 No 0 General Requirements - Canadian Electrical Code, Part II;
- CSA Standard C22.2 No 0.4 Bonding and Grounding of Electrical Equipment
(Protective Grounding);
- CSA Standard C22.2 No 218.1 Spas, Hot Tubs and Associated Equipment;
- ANSI/UL Standard 1563 - Spas and Hot Tubs [Certied to US Standards].
On the basis of our on-going quest for improvement, your product may present some variations that are not referred to in
this manual, but any dierences are minor and of no great importance.
2.1 PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION DETAILS
All the information necessary for identifying your product (product type, model, electrical power, voltage,
registration number, year of construction, manufacturer and CE markings), can be found on the plate under the
heater guard on the wall behind the heater.

2.3 DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
This equipment comes within the scope of EU Directive 2012/19/EU (the WEEE Directive).
Therefore, at the end of its lifetime, this product must be disposed of separately and not treated as urban waste.
The equipment must be delivered to a collection centre licensed under the terms of Directive 2012/19/EU. The
user may request the supplier to take the equipment back when an equivalent new appliance is delivered.
An adhesive label bearing the symbol shown to the right is xed to the equipment. This
symbol indicates that the equipment must not be disposed of as urban waste.
3.YOUR HAMMAM/TURKISH BATH  GENERAL INFORMATION
The principle on which the Turkish Bath works is by heating the air inside a closed cubicle with steam, reaching a
maximum temperature of 118°F and a relative humidity of 100%.
The non-pressurised steam is produced by the generator whose heating elements are immersed in the water
inside the boiler. The steam thus generated then lls the Turkish bath cubicle.
The sophisticated electronics with which every EFFEGIBI generator is equipped ensure perfect functioning with
constant water-exchange, optimised energy consumption and automated boiler-cleaning.
The quality of the water used does not aect the evaporation process and therefore the generator may be fed
with non-treated water, provided it is drinking water, or water treated with a softener. The evaporated water is
automatically reintegrated through a relling valve.
This equipment has been designed exclusively to humidify by way of steam conveyed into the cubicle by internal
distributors. It performs this function provided that installation, use and maintenance are carried out according
to the instructions given in this manual and to the information shown on the labels axed inside and outside the
unit.
The environmental conditions and the voltage must be according to the specications given.

4. CONTROL PANEL
The control panel enables the user to control the generator functions.
From standby status it is possible to press individual or combinations of buttons to access the menus and func-
tions.

4.1 AUTOMATIC STARTUP SEQUENCE
The purpose of the start-up sequence is to synchronise all the installed elements (generator, control panel, ligh-
ting).
Once this sequence has been run, all the functions of your Hammam/Turkish bath will be easy to run from the
control panel.
Make sure that the steam generator is connected to the electricity and water supplies.
The Nuvola Smart Power system has an automatic start-up sequence that runs autonomously in the following
situations.
- When the Turkish bath is rst powered up
- When a new peripheral device has been recognised.
An automatic start-up sequence is indicated by the On/O button ashing.
This phase will last for anything from 15 seconds to a few minutes during which the generator will install and
recognise all the other devices (see Fig. A).

Press the temperature controls, buttons“C”and“A”, rmly and in rapid succession, and they will glow brighter, and
then the“ON/OFF”button. In Fig. C the sequence is shown as numbers“1”,“2” and “3”.
The “ON/OFF” button (shown as number 3) must be pressed rmly for a few seconds until all the control panel
buttons have been ashing for a few seconds.

4.2 MANUAL STARTUP SEQUENCE
If a previously installed peripheral device has been disconnected it may be necessary to run a manual start-up
sequence.
Switch on the panel by pressing the “ON/OFF”button (Fig. A).
The panel will display all the icons with a dim light.
Buttons A and B, the maintenance signal and the EFFEGIBI logo will appear with a brighter light (see Fig. B).

The“ON/OFF”button (shown in Fig. D as number 3) will start to ash.
Now hold down the “Hammam/Turkish bath” button for at least 5 seconds (shown in Fig. D as number 4) until it
starts ashing.
The button will ash for a few minutes.
During this phase the generator is recognising all the additional features installed.
When the recognition phase is complete, the“Hammam/Turkish bath”button (shown in Fig. D as number 4) will
stop ashing, but remain lit and the “ON/OFF”button will start ashing again.
Press the “ON/OFF” button as shown in Fig. E: the panel will exit from the technical menu. Press the “ON/OFF”
button again to complete the start-up sequence, after which your generator will be ready to use.

4.3 STANDBY

All the icons come on with a dimmer light.
4.4 “ON/OFF” BUTTON
Press the “ON/OFF” button to switch on all the control panel functions.
The sophisticated electronics allow the Nuvola Smart Power to sense when the door is open and automatically
block steam generation after 90 minutes.
No additional component needs to be tted to the door, the whole system is on board the generator.

4.5“HAMMAM/ TURKISH BATH” BUTTON
Press the “Hammam/Turkish bath” button to start generating steam.
Steam will start coming out of the diuser inside the Hammam/Turkish bath after about 15/20 minutes (the exact
time depends on the electric power and the position of the Nuvola generator).
PLEASE NOTE: when it starts working for the rst time, before it emits steam, the Nuvola generator will
automatically clean the boiler, a process that takes about 15 minutes.
The temperature setting button will ash to indicate this phase.
If you press the“Hammam/Turkish bath” button while it is functioning, this will interrupt steam emission.
PLEASE NOTE: after steam emission has been interrupted for about 30 minutes, the Nuvola smart electronic
system automatically switches to the boiler empty and clean function, a feature that enables the generator to
work for a long time without the need for any maintenance.
This operation takes about 15 minutes and leaves the Nuvola generator clean and ready for the next use.
During automatic rinsing, the temperature setting button will ash.
The“Hammam/Turkish bath”boiler switch-o function immediately stops steam production.
If the Hammam is not started up after 30 minutes, the generator will switch to boiler-empty mode, otherwise,
if the boiler is still full and hot, pressing the “Hammam/Turkish bath” button will produce steam in a short time.
DO NOT CUT OFF THE ELECTRIC POWER TO THE GENERATOR for about an hour after steam emission has been
interrupted.
The steam generator automatically performs regular checks on the electric valves in order to keep these in
working order and to maintain the water level in the outlet siphon.
During these checks, users may be aware of noises coming from the steam generator.

4.6 AROMATHERAPY AND ESSENTIAL OILS
All steam generators for Eegibi Hammams are specially designed to take essential oils, enabling you to enjoy the
aromatherapy experience in your own Turkish bath.
Once you have added a few drops of your chosen oil, the steam picks up its fragrance in precisely the right dosage
which then permeates throughout your Hammam.
The special Nuvola Smart Power diuser sends steam into your Turkish bath through a fan specically designed
to maintain an even temperature and optimum humidity level inside the cubicle.

4.7 TEMPERATURE CONTROL
3 buttons control the temperature while the “HAMMAM/TURKISH BATH”is functioning.

Press the button corresponding to the desired temperature and the generator will produce steam until this
temperature has been reached, indicated when the slider for the correct temperature comes on.

N.B. Every time the system is switched on, it stores the last temperature setting in its memory.
The operating temperatures given in the manual are to be considered merely as a guide because these
will vary according to the environmental conditions in which the product is installed.

4.8“WHITE LIGHT” BUTTON OPTIONAL EFFEGIBI® LIGHT FITTINGS

4.9“RGB COLOURTHERAPY” BUTTON OPTIONAL EFFEGIBI® LIGHT FITTINGS
Colour-therapy has properties that restore the balance of the mind and body.
Each colour inuences your state of mind and it is a good idea to enjoy them for a several minutes to feel the
benet.
EFFEGIBI uses RGB LED technology for precisely this reason and, as well as using each colour alone, it is possible
to programme a slow, gradual tonal variation within the chosen base colour.
The user has direct control over changes of colour or programmed tonal variation. Repeated and constant tonal
variations are not recommended as the most relaxing way of enjoying your Hammam/Turkish bath combined
with colour therapy.
Press the “RGB COLOUR-THERAPY” button to switch on either the red light or the colour/programme previously
set. Press the “RGB COLOUR-THERAPY” button again to switch it o.
