Thank you for purchasing our eFOLDi HBLD3-D electric wheelchair. This
ultra- light electric wheelchair has been carefully researched and
developed to be light, energy efficient and easy to operate. Please read
this manual carefully before use, so that you are familiar with all the various
functions, and understand the required maintenance, this will ensure that
the wheelchair remains in good condition and is safe to use.
Persons with mobility difficulties, but with complete behavioural ability, or
with access to care and assistance.

Cannot be driven on the road.
Do not operate your electric wheelchair until you have read and fully
understood this manual.
Do not operate your wheelchair until assembly and inspection is complete. It
is suggested that people with mental abnormality, slow reactions and
difficulty in handling should not use this electric wheelchair.
Do not get on or off the electric wheelchair when the power is on, or when
the wheelchair is on free wheel mode or there is no carer to provide
assistance.
Do not drive your electric wheelchair in violation of national and local traffic
regulations.
Do not make sharp turns at high speed. Do not park the electric wheelchair
on a ramp. Never make turns on a slope.

Do not use electric wheelchairs on sandy or soft ground.
Avoid driving on slopes greater than 8 degrees or over obstacles greater
than 4 cm in height.
Do not disassemble or change parts of the electric wheelchair or replace
parts not manufactured by the manufacturer without manufacturer’s
permission.
This electric wheelchair meets the requirements of electromagnetic
compatibility of YY0505 and GB/T 18029.21 standards.
This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment, this product might
cause radio interference in which case the user might be required to take
adequate measures.
Except for approved items sold by the manufacturer, do not use
accessories or charging leads from 3rd party suppliers. This could result in
damage and will void the warranty of the electric wheelchair.

1. Once removed from the packaging, place the wheelchair on a stable
surface. Place your hands on either side of the folded seat and push
apart until the seat is open at 90 degrees and you hear a distinct
"click" sound.
2. Unfold the footplate and place the cushion onto the seat.
3. Installation and disassembly of anti-tilting wheel:
Installation:
Press the ball of anti-tilting wheel with finger and insert it into the
pipe hole until it clicks, and the ball is locked.
Disassembly:
Push and hold the ball with one hand to hold the tilting wheel with
the other hand and pull it out backwards. The anti-tilting wheel must
be installed before using the chair.
How to open the wheelchair:

4. Insert the joystick into the fixing frame and insert the wire into the
wire clips.
5. When in use, please press the " l " switch (“ l “ means POWER ON.
If not in use, please press the " O " switch (" O "means POWER
OFF).

Before getting into an electric wheelchair, please check the following:
Make sure the manual brake is working.
Make sure the battery is installed correctly.
Make sure the joystick is working.
After you get into the electric wheelchair, please fasten your seat belt first
then switch on the power by pushing the power button. The indicator light
will be ON and the joystick should be in the middle position.
The joystick controls the direction and speed at the same time, slowly
push the joystick towards the driving direction then the electric
wheelchair will start to move, push the joystick further away from you
and you will notice greater acceleration.
To stop the moving electric wheelchair, just release the joystick and use
the manual brake to park.

When parking on a ramp, the electromagnetic brake may not always be
strong enough, always use the manual brake in conjunction with the
electromagnetic brake.
The user should choose the speed of the electric wheelchair according
to his/her physical condition and road condition.
Free wheel mode:
After turning off the power switch button on the controller, press the black
circular button on the controller box, and an indicator light will appear on the
controller panel to indicate the switch to free wheel mode. When the power
switch of the controller is turned on, it will automatically switch to electric
mode.
This electric wheelchair is suitable for driving on flat road, driving on muddy,
potholed and uneven road could cause damage to the transmission
mechanism and control system of electric wheelchair.
Before getting off, first turn off the power on the controller, press down the
manual brake, return the footplate to it's upright position, and then get off.

Switch on the power, the power indicator light in the front row will be on, full
power will show 5 lights (2 red, 1 yellow, 2 green). When the two red lights
are flashing, this indicates that the battery requires charging.
Remove the battery and plug the charger into the battery charging port.
To remove the battery for charging, push the red button down, hold the
battery on the outside, and release from the wheelchair. To put it back, slide
the battery into the battery guide slot, push it until you hear a click, then the
battery is inserted securely.
Please remove the battery and charge it once a month if not in use. (Electric
wheelchair batteries ideally should not be stored in the wheelchair)

With the wheelchair on a stable surface, lift the footplate into it's upright
position. Place both hands onto the black handles underneath either side
of the seat and pull the round disk and push the handle firmly away from
you. This will release the locking mechanism. You are now able to fold
the chair upwards into it's folded position. Use the belt to hold the footrest
to the backrest-supporting rod to keep it folded.
Most of the failure of electric wheelchairs are related to the battery, checks
the battery condition before changing parts.

1. General maintenance: do not use lubricant to maintain the
wheelchair. Check the screws and screws regularly for
firmness and reliability.
2. Battery: check the battery power before each use. If the
wheelchair is not used often, it is preferable to give the battery
a short "top-up" charge once a month.
3. Tire pressure: front tires 8x2 inch 250kpa (36psi), solid rear
tires.
4. Hand brake: it is used as parking brake and not used as the
brake when driving.
5. Electromagnetic brake: It is used as driving brake. The
braking distance should be less than 1.5 meter after you
release the joystick to stop.
Maintenance:

The standard limited warranty on this electric wheelchair is 12 months from
the date of purchase.

What is NOT covered:
Damage caused by the owner attempting to modify, fix or alter the
wheelchair. Damage caused by improper use.
Tyres, cushion covers and handle bar grips are all subject to wear and
tear.
Unplanned product obsolescence after the Warranty expires.
First of all, thank you for purchasing our eFOLDi electric wheelchair.
Second, please pay attention to the following matters in daily use:
Do not disassemble the battery. In case of serious battery impact,
please contact the manufacturer immediately.
Should the battery become soaked in water during use or storage, it
must no longer be used and sent back to the manufacturer for testing.
Precautions for battery use:
A. Please charge the battery in a normal indoor environment.
B. Please charge the battery with the manufacturer supplied
charger only.
C. Do not charge the battery for more than 8 hours.
D. Be sure to keep away from flammable and explosive materials
during charging and storage.
Limited warranty:
Precautions:

If the battery needs to be recycled or discarded, be sure to use tape to
insulate part of the electrode. Contact with other metals will lead to battery
overheating, rupture or fire.
Send the used batteries to the manufacturer's maintenance service
centre only.
The electromagnetic wave emitted by this product may interfere with certain
other medical equipment. Please be sure to comply with the regulations of
the hospital when using in premises where this may occur. Radio waves
(radio, television, amateur radio transmitters, walkie-talkies, fixed
telephones) affect electric wheelchairs. Following these warnings will
reduce the risk of loss of control or brake failure, which can lead to serious
injury or equipment damage.

Do not turn on handheld communication devices, such as medium
and short- wave radios and mobile phones, while the electric
wheelchair is in use;
2.
Notice nearby transmitters, such as radio or television stations, and
try to avoid them;
3.
In the case of the wheelchairs losing control or suffering brake
failure, shut down the power as soon as possible;
4.
Be aware of additions or modifications to attachments that may
increase sensitivity to radio waves (note: it is not easy to assess
their effects in electric wheelchairs);
5.
Report to the wheelchair manufacturer if the wheelchairs are out of
control and note if there is a radio source nearby.
