El propósito de la siguiente instrucción es optimizar el trabajo con esta herramienta, así
como alargar la vida útil de sus cuchillas y obtener un resultado satisfactorio para el usuario. No
seguir estos pasos puede dar pie a una rotura prematura de las cuchillas, un corte defectuoso
y/o la realización del trabajo en un tiempo innecesariamente prolongado.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. POSICIONAMIENTO
- Hacergirarlamanillaparaabrirelcortadorlosucienteparaadaptarsealdiámetrodeltubo
que va a cortar.
- Colocar la herramienta en posición perpendicular al tubo con las guías de resorte en la parte
superior. Conecte la horquilla inferior y asegúrela haciendo presión hacia arriba. Gire la
manilla del cortador hasta que las cuchillas hagan un ligero contacto con el tubo de manera
uniforme.

2. MARCAR EL CORTE
- Conlasuperciedeltubolomáslimpiaposible,comenzarmarcandoelcortemoviendo
elcortadorhaciaatrásyhaciaadelanteenoscilacionesde90a110grados,apretandola
manillaaproximadamente60º(menosdeuncuartodevuelta)cadadososcilaciones.
- Revisar que las cuchillas siguen el mismo recorrido de corte. De no ser así, corregir la
posición antes de seguir con el trabajo, asegurando la perpendicularidad respecto del tubo.
3. TERMINAR EL CORTE
- Unavezmarcadoelcorte,sepodráacelerarelritmodetrabajo.Apretarmásdelacuentael
cortatuboresultacontraproducente;realizandocortesmásprofundos,peromáslentosycon
mayor probabilidad de rotura de las cuchillas.

CONSEJOS ÚTILES PARA TUBO DE HIERRO DÚCTIL
Mantengalamáximapresiónenlascuchillasdecorte.Continúealimentandocon
cada vuelta o ciclo porque el tubo de hierro dúctil se endurece con el trabajo y se vuelve
extremadamente difícil de penetrar. Una vez que el tubo se fractura, continúe alimentando
hasta estar seguro de que el corte de hecho esté completo alrededor de todo el tubo.
USE ACEITE LUBRICANTE
Conelusodeaceitelubricante,senecesitaráhacermenosesfuerzoyledarámás
rendimiento de las cuchillas y sus pasadores.
TUBO CON MUCHA OXIDACIÓN
Quiteeloxidoylasescamadurasdeláreadecorteusandounadesincrustadora,así
facilitaráelcorteyprolongarálavidadelascuchillas.Allimpiareltuboantesdecortarlo,se
asegura que la alineación de las cuchillas sea recto.

Thepurposeofthefollowinginstructionistooptimizetheworkwiththistool,aswellas
to extend the useful life of its blades and to obtain a satisfactory result for the user. Failure to
followthesestepscanleadtoprematurebladebreakage,poorcutting,and/orunnecessarily
long job completion.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. POSITIONING
- Rotatethehandletoopenthecutterenoughtotthediameterofthetubetobecut.
- Placethetoolperpendiculartothetubewiththespringguidesatthetop.Attachthelower
forkandsecureitbypressingup.Rotatethecutterhandleuntilthebladesmakelightcontact
withthetubeevenly.

2. MARK THE CUT
- Withthesurfaceofthetubeascleanaspossible,beginmarkingthecutbymovingthecutter
backandforthinoscillationsof90to110degrees,tighteningthehandleapproximately60º
(lessthanaquarterturn)everyotheroscillation.
- Checkthatthebladesfollowthesamecuttingpath.Ifnot,correctthepositionbefore
continuingwiththework,ensuringperpendicularitywithrespecttothetube.
3. FINISH THE CUT
- Oncethecutismarked,theworkratecanbeaccelerated.Over-tighteningthecutteris
counterproductive;cuttingdeeper,butslowerandmorelikelytobreaktheblades.

MAYSTAYCOINEDINTHEIRGROOVE.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR DUCTILE IRON PIPE
Maintainmaximumpressureonthecuttingblades.Keepfeedingwitheachturnorcycle
becauseductileironpipehardenswithworkandbecomesextremelydi󰀩culttopenetrate.Once
the tube is fractured, continue feeding until you are sure that the cut is indeed complete around
the entire tube.
USE LUBRICATING OIL
Withtheuseoflubricatingoil,itwilltakelesse󰀨ortandwillgiveyoumoreperformancefrom
the blades and their pins.
PIPE WITH A LOT OF OXIDATION
Removerustandscalefromthecuttingareausingadescaler,thiswillmakecuttingeasier
and extend the life of the blades. Cleaning the tube before cutting it ensures that the alignment
of the blades is straight.

lapoignéed’environ60°(moinsd’unquartdetour)touteslesdeuxoscillations.
- Vériezqueleslamessuiventlemêmechemindecoupe.Sinon,corrigezlapositionavant
de poursuivre le travail, en veillant à la perpendicularité par rapport au tube.
3. TERMINEZ LA COUPE
- Unefoislacoupemarquée,lacadencedetravailpeutêtreaccélérée.Unserrageexcessif
de la fraise est contre-productif; couper plus profondément, mais plus lentement et plus
susceptible de casser les lames.
