Make sure no one stands close to
the machine while it is in use
To avoid the risk of personal injury,
stay clear of the cutting bar when it is

Cover the cutting bar when the
Hedge cutter is not in use or during
transport
Remove the cover immediately prior to
use. (Picture 2)
In the case of maintenance or repair,
always switch off the motor
The attachment motor must be
stopped before any adjustment,
maintenance or repair can be carried
out on the Hedge cutter.
Avoid roll-overs
Do not drive the machine in a place
where it can slide, tip or roll. Do not
drive on slopes with an incline of more
than 10 degrees. The tyre pressure
must be checked and adjusted to 1.5
bar (22 psi) when the Hedge cutter is
attached. Low tyre pressure increases
the risk of roll-overs. (Picture 3)

1. The locking handle on the A-frame of the
basic machine must be in the unlocked position.
(Picture 1)
Tips!
Raise the Hedge cutter front wheels free of the
ground and lower the support struts, so that the
Hedge cutter A-frame is angled back.
This makes it much easier to ‘catch’ the A-frame
when attaching. (Picture 2)
2. Drive the machine right up to the A-frame of the
Hedge cutter so the A-frames t into each other.
(Picture 3)
3. Raise the A-frame using lever A on the left-hand
side of the Basic machine until the Hedge cutter
is freely suspended above the ground. (Picture 4)

1. Activate Lever B until the cutting bar reaches
the required position.
2. To trim at higher horizontal/vertical positions:
Activate Lever C to raise the cutting arm to the
required height. Use Lever B to reposition the
cutting bar.
Tips!
Trim hedges and bushes from below, i.e. with
the cutting bar turned with the outer part down,
so that the skid just touches the ground. Start
trimming.
The cutting bar is then raised higher up the
hedge, so that the same section is trimmed all the
way to the top. (Picture 1)
Operating speed
Depending on the conditions, an operating speed
of 1–3 km/h is recommended.
