1.0 Instructions
1.1 Setup
Open box and remove backpack system.
System ships with finest mist single tip nozzle installed.
Note: If courser mist or multiple tips are desired, simply remove the black plastic nut at the end of the sprayer gun.
Unclip the 6-point tank harness to access battery compartment.
Remove battery from battery compartment and charge for up to 6 hours to ensure a full charge.
Replace battery, return the tank to backpack, and make sure 6-point tank harness is secured firmly to tank.
Fill tank with fluid.
Put on backpack and secure chest & waist clasps.
Engage the sprayer gun trigger lock.
YOU’RE READY TO GO!!!
1.2 Operation
Turn “Pump” switch into “On” position to activate the sprayer gun.
Turn “Static” switch into “On” position for Electrostatic Mode.
Note: It is recommended to select the necessary switches prior to putting on the backpack.
Disengage sprayer gun trigger lock and pull trigger when ready to spray.
Note: While in Electrostatic Mode, before the trigger is pulled, the operator’s hand must be in contact with the
Electrostatic Contacts on the back of gun grip to avoid possible static shock.
Note: It may take a few minutes of run time before the tank will be charged, and Electrostatic Mode will function
properly.
Re-engage sprayer gun trigger lock before attempting to remove backpack.
Turn both power switches to the off position while system is not in use.
2.0 Maintenance
2.1 Battery Maintenance
The battery compartment is located on the front side of the tank base.
To access the battery compartment, you simply unclip the 6-point tank harness, and open the hinged access door.
A quick release battery adapter has been installed to make changing batteries quick and easy.
Our system was designed to be compatible with Dewalt Max XR batteries to make replacing batteries more convenient if
we run out of inventory.
2.2 Tank Maintenance
It is recommended to rinse the fluid filter at the bottom of the tank after 10 tank refills to avoid clogs in pump.
It is recommended to rinse the strainer at the top of the tank after every tank refill.

It is recommended to rinse lines after each use by partially filling the tank with water and running the system for 30
seconds.
3.0 Specifications
3.1 Battery Specifications
We upgraded the battery system from 12V lead acid to 18V lithium ion to provide longer run times.
We include (1) 18V 6ah lithium ion battery and (1) 110/18V single port battery charger with every backpack system.
Spare batteries & multi-port battery chargers available, sold separately.
3.2 Sprayer Nozzle Specifications
We have upgraded the sprayer tips to increase atomization of the fluid, providing a more evenly distributed application of
chemical. We offer 2-micron size options (White-?, Yellow-?) and 3 different configurations (Single, Double, Quad). The
tips are secured onto the end of the sprayer gun in a black nylon nut. To change the tip, you simply twist off the nylon nut,
and replace the tip to meet the desired output volume. To change the nozzle, you simply remove the nylon nut, and
replace it with the nozzle configuration that best suits your application.

4.0 Warranty
EI Solutions includes 1 year unconditional warranty for every backpack system sold, which covers replacement parts
and/or labor at EI Solutions facility in Tulsa, OK.
The warranty covers manufacturer’s defects and accidental damage.

EI Solutions will provide replacement parts for authorized field repairs.
In the event of a manufacturer’s defect, EI Solutions will provide a pre-paid return label for the unit to be sent back to the
EI Solutions factory for repairs, excluding international freight charges.
All freight leaving the USA borders to be arranged and paid for by the purchaser.
EI to have sole discretion in the method of freight, in the event EI is responsible for freight charges.
All special request carriers or expedited freight charges to be paid by the purchaser.
In the event of accidental damage, EI Solutions will provide the necessary parts to bring the unit back to spec, but
purchaser will be responsible for all freight associated with warranty claim.
EI Solutions will replace the unit if repairs can’t be made to bring the system back to Manufacturer’s spec.
5.0 Returns
The units are non-returnable after 7 days from delivery.
6.0 Safety
The electrostatic sprayer is safe, and even if the Electrostatic Contacts cause a tingling sensation, it will not cause any harm
to the human body.
Do not use if pregnant, or under 18 years of age.
The “Static” switch is located on the left side of the base. When the electrostatic switch is turned on, you must touch the
Electrostatic Contacts before you squeeze the trigger to avoid static shock.
Note: It may take a few minutes of run time before the tank will be charged, and Electrostatic Mode will function properly.
Do not touch the nozzle while spraying to avoid static shock.
It is not advisable to use static electricity in an environment with high humidity such as foggy or rainy days.
Never use Electrostatic Mode during lightning weather.
