Safety Notices
1. Keep the device away from strong magnetic field to
avoid damaging the product
2. Do not let the device fall, rub, or get compacted with
any hard objects as it may cause surface scratches,
battery/power loss, lost of data, or damages to the
hardware inside.
3. Do not keep this device in places of high
temperature, high humidity, or too much dust.
4. This device is not waterproof and exposure to humid
environment or water may cause permanent damage
to the hardware inside
5. Do not clean the device with any chemicals or
detergents product; this may cause damage to the
screen and/or discoloring of the back cover.
6. Avoid using the headset for prolonged time when
setting the volume too high. Volume level should be
adjusted to an appropriate level to avoid permanent
damages to your hearing.

7. Do not power off the device during software update
or during download, or it may cause data lost and
system error.
8. Do not use this device where prohibited, such as on
an airplane.
9. For your protection, always keep a backup of your
device’s data when doing upgrades or installing new
software

Quick Guide
Power On, Unlock
Press and hold button for 3 seconds to power on the
device. It takes about a minute and a half to boot up the
system. Once on the unlocking screen, touch and drag
the icon to the right to unlock the device.

Sleep Mode and Lock screen
You can turn off the screen and put the device in Sleep
Mode to save power by pressing button. The device
will automatically enter sleep mode if left untouched for
a minute. Press button again to wake up the screen.
Under Sleep Mode, the main operation won’t stop, only
the screen will turn off. Any open application such as
music or film continues to play. In order to completely
turn off the system and any open application, you should
Power Off the device.

Press and hold button for 3 seconds to bring Power
off option. Choose OK to shut down the device or Cancel
to return to the previous screen.

Orientation Sensor Setting
The device contains a sensor that will automatically
change the orientation of most screens as you rotate the
tablet. The sensor works best when the tablet is rotated
perpendicular to the ground (i.e., when the tablet is held
upright and not flat on its back).
The orientation sensor can be activated or deactivated in
the Setting menu: Settings Display Auto-rotate
screen. Check or uncheck the box if you want to activate
or deactivate the sensor.

Battery and Charge
The device should be charged for 8 to 12 hours for the
first time to ensure a fully charged battery. Use the
provided USB cable to connect the charger to the device.
The Type A plug of the USB cable goes into the charger
and the Micro USB size plug goes into the USB Port of
the device. The battery icon will show the charging
status.

Please note the following precautions for protecting your
lithium battery:
1. Don’t charge device in high temperature
environment, such as under direct sunshine

2. Lithium battery does not need to be fully
discharged. User can charge the battery when
there is still power left.
3. While charging, it is normal that both charger
and device will heat up
4. Make sure to recharge the battery once every
two weeks when not using the device for a long
period of time
Navigation and Status Bar
The navigation and status bar are located at the bottom
of the screen.
Navigation Icons Status + System Icons
Navigation icons are the controls for your device. They
let you move back one screen or task, pull up menus
screens, and control the volume.
The status icons tells you which apps have sent you
notifications; for example, mail, message, or meeting
notifications. System icons display the current wireless
and network connection strength, battery level, time,
and more.

1) Touch All Apps icon on the top right side
of the home screen to open the applications menu.

2) On applications menu, tap settings icon
to enter setting menu.
3) Under Wireless & Networks, slide the
On/Off switch next to Wi-Fi icon to turn Wi-Fi
on. To turn it off, slide the switch to Off position.

Once the Wi-Fi is on, the tablet will automatically scans
and list available Wi-Fi networks. If you don’t see your
network in the list, you can force the tablet to re-scan.
To scan for networks, tap the scan icon located
on the top right corner of the screen.

4) Touch your network to connect to.
If the network is open, the tablet will prompt you to
confirm connection to the network. Touch Connect to
confirm.
If the network is secured, as indicated by a Lock icon
, the tablet will prompt you to enter a password or other
credentials. (Ask your network administrator for details.)

Using the touchscreen
Use your fingers to manipulate icons, buttons, menus,
the onscreen keyboard, and other items on the
touchscreen.
To select or activate something, touch it.
To type something, such as a name, password, or search
terms, just touch where you want to type. A
keyboard pops up that lets you type into the field.
Other common gestures include:
Touch & hold: Touch & hold an item on the
screen by touching it and not lifting your finger until an
action occurs.
Drag: Touch & hold an item for a moment
and then, without lifting your finger, move your finger
on the screen until you reach the target position. For
example, you can drag to reposition shortcuts on the
Home screen.
Swipe or slide: Quickly move your finger
across the surface of the screen, without pausing when
you first touch (so you don't drag something instead).

For example, you can slide a Home screen left or right to
view the other Home screens.
Pinch: In some apps (such as Maps,
Browser, and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by
placing two fingers on the screen at once and pinching
them together (to zoom out) or spreading them apart
(to zoom in).
Rotate the screen: On most screens, the
orientation of the screen rotates with your device as you
turn it. You can change this Display setting.

Application
To open an application, touch the application icon on
the home screen or in the applications menu.
There are some applications already installed on your
tablet for your convenience. You may also download and
install additional applications by visiting the Google’s
Play Store.

Widgets
Widgets are like windows into your apps. They're
available from an All Apps tab for you to move onto your
Home screens.
To see your widgets:
1. Touch the All Apps icon
2. Touch Widgets at the top of the screen
From the main Widgets screen, you can
Move between screens: Swipe left or right.
Drag a widget to a Home screen: Touch and
hold the widget's icon, slide your finger
where you want to place it, and lift your
finger.
You may be asked to make further choices before the
widget activates. If there isn't room where you dropped
it, the widget won't get added to the Home screen.

Connecting to a Computer
In order to connect the tablet to a computer to transfer
files, you will have to turn on the “USB Storage”.
Connect the tablet with the included USB cable to a
computer. Once connected, a USB icon will appear in the
Notification bar, as shown below:
Touch the Notification bar to open the notifications
panel. And touch USB Connected to go to the USB Mass
Storage option screen.
