Intended Use
The device may only be used as a pager for per-
sonal calls.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any dam-
age caused by improper or non-intended use!

before connecting and operating the unit!

failure to observe the operating instructions
and in particular the safety advice!
- The device may not be used in areas where
malfunctions could lead to personal injury or
damage to property.
- Please check regularly to make sure your
device is ready to transmit and receive!
The device functions in the 868 MHz range,
which is also used by other radio services.
Therefore, devices that function on the same
frequency or on neighbouring frequencies
may cause limitations in the operation and
range of the pager. The reception quality
may be aected by non-suppressed devices
and systems, by the presence of other trans-
mitters using the same frequency range or
by the weather. Should you need to improve
the radio range of your device, please use
an Easywave repeater.
- Have faulty units checked by the manu-
facturer!
- Do not open the unit housing!
- Do not make any unauthorised alterations or
modications to the uni!
Function
The RRP01 MiniPager receives messages from
previously programmed Easywave transmitters.
The pager alerts recipients to messages by vibra-
ting and/or buzzing, and by displaying text.
The buttons on the device can be used to ack-
nowledge messages. If there are multiple messa-
ges, each message must be separately acknow-
ledged.
In total, 64 Easywave transmission codes can be
programmed into the receiver.
The retaining clip on the back allows the
MiniPager to be fastened in a shirt pocket or onto
a belt.
Only clean the device with a damp cloth, never
use harsh or abrasive cleaners!

START UP
Fully charge the pager before rst use. Only use
the supplied USB cable or a charging cradle! (see
Charge the battery).
Then switch on the RRP01 by pressing both but-
tons for approximately 2 seconds.
Transmitters are congured and programmed via
a Windows PC or laptop. (see “Programming”)
Charge the battery
There is a mini USB socket on the left-hand side.
Plug the USB cable into this socket and connect
the other end to a 5 V USB plug-in adapter or
powered-up computer.
The charging process starts automatically after
plugging in and takes approximately 3 hours to
complete.
The ambient temperature during charging should
be between +10°C and +30°C.
The two green LEDs above the buttons ash du-
ring charging. Once the battery is fully charged,
the message “Battery full” appears on the display
and both LEDs are lit.
The runtime with a fully charged battery depends
on the ambient conditions and is approximately
48 hours.
Charging cradles
There is a mini USB socket on the left-hand side.
Plug the USB cable into this socket and connect

Installation
1. Connect the MiniPager to a Windows PC
or laptop via the supplied USB cable. The
driver is automatically installed. Wait until
the driver installation is complete (only when
plugging in for the rst time).
2. Download the
“RRP01_MiniPager_en.zip” le from our
website:

schnittstellen/rrp01e_en.html
Unzip the le into any folder and start the
program.
If a security warning appears, conrm it by
clicking “Run”.

Transmitter
Transmitters can be programmed, deleted, and
the associated message texts congured here. 64
memory locations are available for this.
Each line represents a memory location.
Only 16 memory locations are initially shown
when the MiniPager is connected. Click [17...32],
[33...48] or [49...64] in the lower area to select the
remaining memory locations.
All changes made here only take eect if
the data has been transferred to the con-
nected MiniPager via the “PC -> Pager”
button!
Memory location
Indicates the memory location (1-64) status:
Free/green: No transmitter programmed yet.
Assigned/red: Transmitter programmed.
Program
Click this button to program the button of an
Easywave transmitter.
After pressing the button, you must press the
transmitter button within 10 seconds.
The timer ends and the display switches to
“assigned” if programming is successful.
An error message appears if the maximum pro-
gramming time of 10 seconds is exceeded.
If the memory location is already assigned to ano-
ther transmitter button, it will be overwritten.
A transmitter button can only be programmed to
one memory location. If you try to program a but-
ton at more than one memory location, an error
message will be displayed.
Delete
Press this button to delete the transmitter button
programmed at this memory location. There will
not be a check to conrm you want to do this!
Data handling
This section deals with data transfer between a
PC and MiniPager.
The MiniPager has a separate memory which can
be read or written to via these buttons.
Pager -> PC
Reads the message texts and all programmed
Easywave transmitters of the connected MiniPa-
ger. The data can then be adjusted/updated, or
transferred to another MiniPager.
All settings in the software are overwritten
by the data loaded from the MiniPager!
PC -> Pager
Transfers the message texts currently loaded in
the software and programmed Easywave trans-
mitters to the connected pager.
All changes made only take eect if they
have been transferred to the MiniPager via
this button!
Open le
Data/congurations already stored on a PC can
be re-uploaded here.
All settings in the software are overwritten by the
uploaded data le!
Save as
This button allows you to save the currently loa-
ded message texts and programmed Easywave
transmitters into a le on the PC. This le can
be used to transfer the conguration to other
MiniPagers.
Direct settings
All settings adjusted here are transferred to the
connected MiniPager immediately when changed.
The current settings of a newly connected
MiniPager are automatically read out.
Pager name
The name entered here appears on the pager’s
display in order to assign it, for example to the
correct person or department. “MiniPager” is the
default name.
Battery voltage
If the box is checked, the current battery voltage is
shown on the display.
Buzzer
Activates or disables the acoustic alert when a call
is received. Several volume settings are available.
Vibration
Switches the vibration alert ON or OFF.
LEDs
Determines whether the MiniPager LEDs should
or should not ash in the event of an alert.
Reception during charging
If this checkbox is activated, the MiniPager also
reacts to incoming calls during charging.
Stay on after charging
Determines whether the MiniPager is automa-
tically switched o after the power supply (USB
cable, adapter, charging cradle) is removed.
Pager language
Determines the pager display language.
The pager must be restarted for this setting to be-
come active!
Connection
The current connection status is shown here.
If the MiniPager is correctly connected to the PC,
the display skips to “Connection made”.
If the message “Not connected” appears
even though the MiniPager is connected,
check the USB cable connection. Only use
the supplied USB cable!
Disconnect and restore the connection
again after a short time. Check that the
USB port on the PC/laptop works correctly.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Disposal
Waste electronic equipment must not be
disposed of with household waste!
Dispose of the waste product via collec-
tion facilities for electronic scrap or via a
specialist dealer.
Dispose of used batteries in a recycling
bin for batteries or via the specialist trade.
Dispose of packaging material in recy-
cling bins for cardboard, paper and plas-
tic.
Warranty
Within the statutory warranty period we undertake
to rectify free of charge, by repair or replacement,
any product defects arising from material or pro-
duction faults.
Any unauthorised tampering with, or modications
to, the product shall render this warranty null and
void.
