ELBC 2000 Electric Brake
Controller Hard Wired
Elecbrakes is a proportional electric brake controller. Mounting to the trailer
the ELBC 2000 provides the latest in electric brake controller technology.
Connecting to the in-vehicle controller via Bluetooth Elecbrakes removes
the need to hard wire the tow vehicle with a brake controller. Multiple braking
programs allows the driver to set up brake responses according to change
in load or driving conditions. Fully encased in resin the ELBC 2000 electronics
are water, dust and shock proof.

and setup is complete before
proceeding – refer to User Guide.

1. Open Elecbrakes app
2. Looking for device - system
state will display a grey button
Getting Started
4. Trailer brakes are on -
system state displays
as bright red
Note: Elecbrakes
when connected
will open on the
last known program
and respective
brake responses.
Check active
program before
driving to ensure
that this is correct
for the current
trailer load state.
3. Connection conrmed
– system state displays
a dull red.

Quick Program Change
The braking program can be selected/changed without
going to the settings page. To change program:
Home Screen > Swipe Screen Right > Tap Program >
Selected is Highlighted
To return to home screen swipe the program
screen to the left.
Program Screen > Swipe Screen Left > Home
Screen displayed with new active program.
Quick Brake Response Change
Brake response can be increased or decreased without
going to settings page. To change brake response:
Home Screen > Swipe Screen Left > Increase or Decrease
Scroll up or down to increase/decrease brake response.
Elecbrakes has 5 x Braking programs. For detailed
setup and operation please refer to user guide.

• Manual Override is applied from
home screen by the system state
button.
Manual Override Functionality
1. Tap on red system state button
to apply the when tapped value.
2. System state button will go bright
red indicating the brakes are on.
3. Whilst in Manual Override – You
can progressively increase brake
response by:
Tap and hold red system state
button to progressively increase
braking response.
To release trailer brake, tap on
the red system state button –
display changes to dull red.
