NOTE: All of the buttons on the remote control have
the same function as the buttons on the main unit.
POWER SOURCE
This system is designed to operate on normal 120V
60Hz AC only. Attempting to operate this system
from any other power source may cause damage to
the system, and such damage is not covered by
your warranty.
Note: This system is equipped with a polarized
AC power plug having one blade wider than the
other. This is a safety feature. If this plug does not
t into your existing AC outlet, do not try to defeat
this safety feature by altering the wide blade to
make it t into your outlet. If this plug will not t
into your outlet, you probably have an outdated
non-polarized AC outlet. Have the obsolete outlet
changed by a qualied licensed electrician.
BATTERY INSTALLATION OF REMOTE CONTROL
• The remote control requires one CR2025 (3V)
lithium battery.
• Hold level pressing the clasp with the
thumb in the right direction of the arrow
in the illustration, and take out the battery
compartment by sliding with forenger in
the direction to yourself. Take out the battery
compartment from the remote control.
Install a lithium battery (CR-2025) in the
compartment with the positive polarity
turned up. Hold level and push the battery
compartment into the remote control lightly.
It is okay once you hear a click.
PREPARATION FOR USE

UNPACKING AND SETUP
• Carefully remove the unit from the display carton
and remove all packing material from the unit
• Unwind the AC power cord and extend it to its full
length
• Unwind the FM Antenna wire and extend it to its
full length
• Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to
an AC outlet, out of direct sunlight, and away from
sources of excess heat, dust, moisture, humidity, or
strong magnetic elds
• Raise the lid to expose the phonograph.The phonograph has been secured for shipment with a transit
screw. Use a coin or screwdriver to TURNTHETRANSIT SCREW CLOCKWISE. This will allow the turntable
to“oat”and turn freely.
• Remove the opaque white plastic stylus cover from the
phonograph stylus by sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
• Discard the stylus cover.
• Remove the twist-tie that was used to secure the tone
arm during shipment.
• Release the tone arm lock lever.
• Connect the plug to your AC outlet, as shown below.

RAISING AND LOWERINGTHE LID IMPORTANT:
To open the lid, raise it as far as it will go until the lid support bracket‘locks’in the open position. To close the
lid, lift it upward slightly until the lid support bracket‘unlocks’, and then gently lower the lid.
TO AVOID DAMAGINGTHE CABINET OR THE LID, NEVER FORCETHE LID CLOSED. ALWAYS RAISE THE
LID TO RELEASETHE LID SUPPORT BRACKET.
PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber‘feet’to prevent the product from moving when you operate
the controls.These‘feet’are made from non-migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid
leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However, certain types of oil based furniture polishes, wood
preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber‘feet’to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue
on the furniture.To prevent any damage to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small
self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers everywhere, and
apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber‘feet’before you place the product on ne wooden furniture.
HEADPHONES
For private listening, plug headphones (not included) into the headphone jack on the front panel of the
player.The speakers will be disconnected when headphones are plugged in.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the“–”position to turn the unit on.
2. Rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the AM or FM position as desired.
The backlight behind the AM/FM dial will light.
3. Rotate the tuning control to select a station. If tuned to a strong FM station,
the FM Stereo indicator will light and the sound will be in stereo.
4. Rotate theVOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
5. To turn the unit OFF, ip the switch to the“o”position.
AM Note:
The AM antenna is inside the cabinet. If reception is unsatisfactory try repositioning the cabinet
slightly for the strongest signal.
FM Note:
The wire antenna is located on the back cabinet. If necessary adjust the position and direction of
this antenna for the best reception.

AUX IN OPERATION
Listen to music via the AUX IN input by connecting your MP3 player or smartphone. Rotate the AM-FM-CD-
PH-AUX switch to AUX mode. Insert the 3.5mm Aux cable (not included) into the corresponding AUX IN Input
at the back of your system. Connect the other end of the cable to your device. Adjust the volume using the
Volume Control knob on the system’s control panel.
Navigate your music les using your device.
Disconnect your device when not in use.
INSERTING AND PLAYING A CD
1. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the“–”position to
turn the unit on.
2. Rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the CD position.‘- -’will appear in the display.
3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray. Place a CD in the tray, with the printed label facing up.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the CD tray.
4. The disc will spin for a few seconds while the player is reading the disc and the total track number will
appear in the display. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the rst track of the disc. Adjust the
VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
5. To skip forward or backward through the tracks on the disc, press the SKIP REV or SKIP FWD buttons. To
search forward or backward through the tracks, press and hold the SKIP REV or SKIP FWD button.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause playback.The PLAY/PAUSE indicator will blink in the display. Press
again to resume playback. When the disc is through playing, it will stop rotating.
7. To stop playback entirely, press the STOP button.
• As each track is played, the track number is shown in the display.
• The PLAY/PAUSE indicator will appear in the display when CD is playing.
RANDOM PLAYBACK
During CD-R/RW play mode, press the RANDOM button once; the random indicator will light and the unit will
then play the tracks in a random order. Press the STOP button to cancel the random setting and the random
indicator will turn o.
• During RANDOM playback, press the REPEAT button once to activate repeat 1 playback.The REPEAT
LED indicator will blink and the RANDOM LED indicator will go out.
• The player will play your selected track repeatedly until you cancel the REPEAT function by
pressing the REPEAT button twice, the repeat LED indicator will go out.
• RANDOM function cannot be used during repeat 1 mode.

OPERATION
REPEAT PLAYBACK
1. To repeat a single track, press the REPEAT button once, the repeat LED indicator will blink, press the
SKIP REV button or SKIP FWD button to select the desired track, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin
repeat playback of the selected track.
2. To repeat all of the tracks on a disc continuously, press the REPEAT button twice, the repeat LED
indicator will light solid. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin repeat playback of the entire disc.
3. To cancel repeat playback, press the REPEAT button until the repeat LED indicator turns o.
4. Repeat playback is also canceled by pressing the STOP button.
PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
The CD player in this unit has a 20 - track programmable memory that allows you to program the disc to
playback songs in any desired order.
1. While in STOP mode of CD playback, press the PROGRAM button;“0”will appear in the display and the
program LED indicator will blink.
2. Select the rst track to be programmed using the SKIP REV or SKIP FWD button.
3. Press the PROGRAM button again to conrm it, when the desired track appears in the display. Repeats
steps 2 and 3 to program up to 20 tracks.You may program the same track more than once.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin programmed playback; the program LED indicator will blink.
Player will begin with the rst track you programmed and will continue until the last programmed
track has played.
5. Press the SKIP REV or SKIP FW button to select a specic track in the programmed tracks. After the last
track has played, the player will stop. However, the program sequence remains in the memory.The
program indicator will remain on.
6. To repeat the programmed sequence, press the PROGRAM button and then press the PLAY/PAUSE
button.The programmed sequence may be cancelled by pressing the STOP button while in stop mode.
• Programming is the ability to pre-select the order in which a series of tracks will be played.
• The CD player will stop after all programmed tracks have been played or the STOP button is
pressed.
• “--“ and the program indicator will blink when you have programmed 20 tracks.
• During PROGRAMMED playback, press REPEAT button twice to activate repeat all feature.
The REPEAT inidcator will light and all tracks in your programmed sequence will be repeated
continuously. To cancel programmed repeat playback press the STOP button until both the
program and repeat LED indicator go out.
OPERATION
PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33,45 and 78 RPM records.
Be sure to disconnect any devices (MP3 player or smartphone) before using the Record player.
1. With the unit on, rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the PH position. Make sure that you have
removed the stylus cover from the stylus and have released theTone Arm Lock (See Page 7)
2. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78 RPM. Set the record onto the
turntable. If you are playing 45 RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
3. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm o its rest. Move the tone arm to the outer-edge of the record.
The turntable will start automatically. Use the cue lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
•
• Adjust the VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
• IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have removed the stylus cover from the stylus and have
released the Tone Arm Lock (see page 7).
• Do not turn or stop the turntable manually. Moving or jarring the turntable without securing
the tone arm clamp could result in damage to the tone arm or stylus.
INSERTING AND PLAYING FILES FROM A USB
Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for 2 seconds to change the playing mode between CD and
USB. The default after turning on the system is CD mode, the total tracks number will be shown
on the display if the disc is in the CD drawer,“NOd”will be shown if there is no disc. If there is no
disc in the CD drawer during CD mode, put the USB drive into the USB socket, the player will play
the USB automatically.
1. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the“–”position to turn the unit on. The LED power indicator will light.
2. Rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the CD position.
3. Plug the USB drive into the USB socket. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button to select USB;“USb”will
briey appear in the display. ‘NOU’ will appear in the display if no USB drive is inserted into the USB
socket.“NOF”will show on the display if there are no tracks on the USB.
4. The player will read the USB drive and start playing automatically. This could take a little while,
depending on the USB les. The track number, “USb” and the folder name will cycle in the display.
Adjust theVOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
5. To skip forward or backward through the tracks on the USB drive, press the SKIP REV or FWD button.
See note below for playing MP3’s.To search forward or backward through the tracks, press and hold the
SKIP REV or FWD button.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause playback.The track number will blink in the display. Press again
to resume playback. When the USB drive is through playing, it will stop automatically. Press the STOP
button to stop the USB drive before it is nished.

OPERATION
MP3 FILES/FOLDER
During playback, repeatedly press the FOLDER +/+10 or FOLDER -/-10 buttons to skip the les +10 or -10.
When in the Stop mode, repeatedly press the FOLDER +/+10 or FOLDER-/-10 buttons on the remote to skip
to a higher or lower numbered folder (if folders are recorded onto the USB drive). During play back, press
and hold FOLDER +/+ 10 or FOLDER -/-10 to change folders.
RECORDING FROM A CD ONTOTHE USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the CD position
and insert the desired CD; playback will start automatically.
2. Select a track using the SKIP REV or FWD button. Press the RECORD button once;“REC”will appear in
the display.
3. Press the RECORD button a second time;“RAD”(Ready) will briey appear in the display and then
the player will restart the selected track and start recording. It will continue recording until the Stop
button is pressed.

• The Record indicator will blink when recording.
• Press the STOP button once to cancel the record function and twice to stop the playback.
PROGRAM RECORDING FROM A CD ONTOTHE USB DEVICE
1. Perform steps 1 through 3 on page 10 to program the memory. Press the PLAY/ PAUSE button to start
program playback.
2. Select a track using the SKIP REV or FWD button, if desired. Press the RECORD button once;“REC”will
appear in the display.
3. Press the RECORD button a second time;“RAD”(Ready) will briey appear in the display and then
the player will restart the selected track and start recording. It will continue recording until the Stop
button is pressed.

• The Record indicator will blink when recording.
• Press the STOP button once to cancel the record function and twice to stop the playback.
RECORDING FROM A PHONOGRAPH ONTOTHE USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the PH position.
2. Press the RECORD button once;“REC”will appear in the display. Press the RECORD button a
second time;“rAd”(Ready) will briefly appear in the display.
3. Place a record on the turntable and start playback. The recording from the PHONO will begin after‘rAd’
disappears from the display.
OPERATION
• The Record indicator and‘rEC’will blink when recording.
• Press the STOP button once to cancel the record function.
• When recording (regardless of the source), the position of the volume will not aect the
recording, as the recording volume is preset.
• When you insert the USB drive with folders recorded by this system into the computer and then
open, the time will be always shown as ‘2006-3-23 4:05’for all of recording folders. It is not an
error, the recording time and date is just a reference date of the USB recording system only and
not reex to the actual current recording date & time.
DELETING FILES FROM THE USB DEVICE
1. Rotate the AM-FM-CD-PH-AUX switch to the CD position. Plug the USB drive into the USB socket. Press
and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button to select USB;“USb”will briey appear in the display.
2. Select a le to delete using the SKIP REV or FWD button. Repeatedly press the FOLDER +/+10 or
FOLDER -/-10 buttons on the remote to skip to a higher or lower numbered folder (if folders are
recorded onto the USB drive).
3. Press and hold the DELETE button on the remote once and the le will be deleted. IMPORTANT: Once
you press and hold the DELETE button, the selected le will be deleted immediately.“DEL”will show on
the display to conrm the track was deleted successfully.
REMOVING THE USB DRIVE
Make sure to stop the playback and turn the unit o before removing the USB drive to avoid damage to the
USB and the system.
CHANGING THE STYLUS
The jeweled stylus that was installed in your turntable at the time of purchase will last for up to 300 hours
of playback with 33 RPM albums or 45 RPM singles. If you are playing older 78 RPM records, which are made
from a much harder material, the stylus life expectancy may be reduced.
When the playback sound becomes distorted and unsatisfactory, rst check to see if any dust or lint has
accumulated on the stylus. If you see any visible matter on the tip of the stylus, remove it very carefully with
a soft stylus-cleaning brush.
If there is no visible foreign matter on the stylus and the sound is still unsatisfactory, the stylus is worn and
needs to be replaced. If you continue playing your records with a worn stylus, you may eventually cause
damage to the records themselves.

OPERATION
REPLACING THE STYLUS
IMPORTANT: Avoid touching the stylus itself.
1. Lift the tone arm o the tone arm rest.
2. At the front end of the tone arm, place the tip of your ngernail between the stylus holder and the
black cartridge housing as shown, press down on the stylus holder until it separates from the cartridge
housing.
3. Completely remove the stylus holder with worn stylus and discard it.
4. Place the new stylus holder with stylus under the cartridge housing. First, press upward on the back side
of the stylus holder, and then press up on the front edge of the stylus holder until it snaps into place on
the cartridge housing.
IMPORTANT!
To protect the turntable from damage during transportation, a silver transit screw is located at
the upper right of the turntable platform.
1. Before playing, please use a screwdriver to turn the transit screw in
clockwise direction (screw going down) completely to unlock
the turntable.
2. To lock the turntable again for transportation, please turn screw in
counter-clockwise direction.
TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE FROM TONE ARM PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES BELOW
1. Gently lift the tone arm from the tone arm rest.
2. By using your left hand to hold the tone arm and
using your right hand to hold the rear portion of
the cartridge. Then push the cartridge backwards
and downwards according to the direction as
shown to the left to separate the cartridge from
the tone arm.
3. Using either a tweezer or your ngers, carefully
unplug the terminals from the cartridge.
4. Carefully connect the terminals to the new
cartridge (not included).
5. To re-install the new cartridge to the tone
arm. First please lock the front end of the new
cartridge on the hook of the tone arm.
6. Press the rear side of the new cartridge upwards

CARING FOR COMPACT DISCS
• Treat the compact disc carefully. Handle the compact disc only by its edges. Never allow your ngers to
come in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the compact disc.
• Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the compact disc label.
• Clean the compact disc periodically with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive
cleaners to clean the compact disc. If necessary, use a CD cleaning kit.
• If a disc skips or gets stuck on a section of the compact disc, it is probably dirty or damaged (scratched).
• Wipe in straight lines from the center of the compact disc to the outer edge of the compact disc. Never
wipe in circular motions.
• Compact Discs should be stored in their cases after each use to avoid damage.
• Do not expose compact discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperatures or dust, etc. Prolonged
exposure or extreme temperatures can warp the compact disc.
• Do not stick or write anything on either side of the compact disc. Sharp writing instruments, or the ink,
may damage the surface.

The auto-return point of the tone arm has been preset by the factory, however, if the tone arm auto-returns before
the end of the album please make the following adjustments. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver.Turn the
adjustment screw clockwise ¼ turn and test auto-return. Please make further adjustments as needed.
