Fitthetelescopic

Removethepiece
of plastic
from the start button: this servesonlvto secure
the startbutton
duringtransport.
Select
a wall
position
fortherechargingholderinthevicinityof a
wallsocket.Checkthat the vacuumcleaner
isaway
from the
floorandthat it canbe liftedout of therechargingholder
withoutdifficulty.
Holdthe rechargingholderagainst
thewall
and
markwherethefasteningscrewsareto go,see
Fig.1.
Whenfittingusing
plasticplugs,
drill
theholesusinga 7 mm bit,
push
theplasticplugs
intothewalland insertthescrewsuntil
theyonly
project
by about15mm.
Windanysurpluscable
roundthe backof therechargingholder,
seeFig. 2. The cableshould passout betweenthe two grooves
onthebottom of therechargingholder.Hangtherecharging
holderonthescrewsandtighten.
Therechargingholder
should
not be fitted outdoors or anywheredamp.
Whenconnecting
the electricity
supply,checkfirstthat your
householdsupply
currentisthesameasthecurrentspecifiedon
therechargingunit's
plate.
Connect
theround
plug
to the
bottomof the rechargingholderand plug
therechargingunit
into the socket.
Recharging
- The vacuumcleanershould be switchedoff before
it is
recharged.
- Use
onlytheoriginal
recharger
whenrecharging.

Thecharging
indicator
L comes
on,
whichshowsthatthevacuum
cleaneris recharging.The
charging
indicatorstays
onaslong
as
the vacuumcleaner
isconnected

Whennecessary,

unit)may be
rechargedseparatelyby connecting
therecharging
plug
directly
to thevacuumcleaner,see

The vacuumcleanershouldalwaysbe kept in the recharging
holderwhennot inuse:
this
ensures
thatthebattery'schargeis
maintained,whichinturn
guarantees
thatthevacuum
cleaner
will alwaysbe readyfor useto its full capacity.
Whenthevacuumcleaner
is
completely
discharged,aboutB-10
hoursof rechargingare requiredbeforefull capacityis restored.
A fullychargedbattery
willsufficeforabout19-25minutesof
cleaning,dependingon howlongtherotating
brush
is
used
whilecleaning.
- Therechargingunitwill
gethotduringrecharging.
Thisis
perfectly
normal.
- The vacuumcleanershouldnot be rechargedwherethe
temoeratureis below 0"C or above + 40'C.
lfthe vacuumcleaner
isto remainunusedforlong
periods,
it
should be kept in a cool placeand rechargedat leastevery6
months.
Use
Thevacuumcleanershouldbecharged
for
about
10hours
beforeit is usedfor the firsttime.
When cleaning floors and carpets
Liftthe completevacuumcleaner
from the rechargingholder,
see Fig. 4. Adjustthe telescopichandleto an appropriate
length,
see Fig. 5. The vacuumcleaner
is now readyfor cleaningthe
floor.
Cleaning using a rotating brush
Used for cleaning floors and shortpile carpets.
Pushthe start button into positionC, see Fig. 6. This position
is
indicated
bytheoperationindicatorD onthenozzle
comingon.
Thevacuumcleanerisfitted with automaticmotor protection
whichtrips if the rotatingbrush becomesblocked.
Thisis shown
bythe operationindicatorD on the nozzle
going out.The
problem
can be remedied
by completelyturningoff the vacuum
cleaner:
- pushing
thestartbutton
backto position

- removing
whateveris blockingthe brush
- then press
the resetbutton E on the nozzle.

Detachthe dust containerby firstpushing
button H, thentwist
the dustcontanier
downwards.
- Removethedustfilterfromthedustcontainer.
- Emptythe dust container.

your
ordinaryvacuumcleanerto cleanthefilter.
Putthe
filterbackintothedustcontainerandsnaoit backinto

Cleaningthe brush
