HDMI Extender Over Single CAT5e/6 Cable

Introduction
The ELE8020 HDMI Extender transmits over one Cat5e/6 cable to extend your HDTV
display up to 70m at 1080i and 40m at 1080p. It’s equipped with HDMI connections.
It also supports DVI equipment when using an HDMI to DVI adapter. It provides an
easy and affordable cabling solution for integrating home theater components.
Features
1. Extends HDMI signal over one Cat5e/6 cable. (Terminated T568-B Format)
2. HDMI 1.3 compliant. 3D capable.
3. Transmission range: Up to 70m at 1080i / Up to 40m at 1080p.
4. Built in Auto EQ for easy plug and play.
5. Transmitter unit has built in EDID auto backup function.
6. No external power required at receiver unit for distances under 30m.
7. HDCP compliant.

DIP Switch Function
1 UP Use the default EDID
1 DOWN Use the backup TV EDID
2 UP Select the first default EDID (1080i, 2CH)
2 DOWN Select the second default EDID (1080p, 5.1CH)
Default EDID Setup
1. Move DIP Switch 1 off (up).
2. Move DIP Switch 2 off (up) for option 1, supports 1080i / LPCM 2 Channel.
3. Move DIP Switch 2 on (down) for option 2, supports 1080p / LPCM 5.1 Channel.
External EDID Setup
1. Move DIP Switch 1 on (down) & unplug.
2. Connect Tx to TV using HDMI cable for auto backup.
3. Reconnect power to complete TV EDID backup, Blue LED will keep fashing.
4. Reset power on Tx to activate new EDID.
