PRESTIGE UNIVERSAL PROTECTION COVERS
Congratulations on purchasing your new cover. It has been designed and manufactured to protect your valuable
investment from Australia’s harsh climatic conditions. All Prestige Covers oer superior protection against
industrial pollutants, tree sap, bird droppings, acid rain, dust and weather damage caused by leaving your
vehicle exposed to the elements.
The information contained in this booklet is of a general nature and in part or whole applies to our entire protection
range. To make the most of your new cover please read these instructions carefully before attempting tment to
ensure no damage occurs. All references to the word Van in this publication are a general descriptive term for caravans,
pop-tops, motorhomes, camper vans and in some cases camper trailers.
5TH GENERATION SERIES
THE ORIGINAL
PLEASE READ BEFORE FITTING COVER
The Prestige Cover range is designed around a universal-style tment system to cover a large range of models. They are
not manufactured to suit one particular make or type of caravan, camper trailer or motorhome. As designs and shapes vary
signicantly we provide general measurements for each cover which are found on the side of the box. Choosing the right
sized cover is very important as unnecessary damage may be caused to the cover during installation if incorrect. Its a good
idea to measure your van, trailer or RV rst to be certain you have purchased the correct size. Generally, most covers can be
tted and secured in around 10 to 15 minutes depending on size and shape although it may longer the rst time.
CTT Series
Solar Panels/Air Conditioner CB Radio Aerials/Antennas Roller Shade/ Canopy Systems External Trim & Frame Areas
Sometimes sharp edges or extrusions are not easily noticed and these can cause damage to the cover unless detected so
all Prestige Covers are tted with reinforced skirting to give extra protection. As previously stated, we recommend that all
sharp corners are covered with some form of protective tape or covering. In case of accidental or minor damage, each cover
includes a 3 metre section of self adhesive cover material.
It’s important to inspect your van before rst tting the cover. We suggest using a cloth or protective glove and run your
hand over the entire area of the van to locate any sharp edges which may catch or rub on the cover. Sharp edges are often
found on air conditioner units, satellite dishes, solar panels, side awnings, stabilisers, antennas and other exterior panels.
Check especially for sharp edges and extrusions around the base and bottom edges of the van. These can catch on the
material causing it to tear during and after tment. If you do nd a sharp edge or object we recommend that you cover it
with an adhesive cloth tape or similar product, which is available from most auto, caravan, camping or hardware retailers.

Correct tment is very important to ensure the long life of your cover and your van. Our covers have been designed with ease of tment in
mind. By following these general instructions, your cover should go on quickly and easily.
STEP 1 Remove cover from box & layout
on a dry, at surface on the opposite
side of the van to the main entry. Locate
the tag marked FRONT found on the
hem section of the cover. Once the front
section is located, stretch the cover out
until you nd the zippered side panels.
STEP 2 Undo the zippers & with (1)
person positioned at the front & (1)
person at the rear, stretch the cover out
so that you can ip the unzipped side
panels onto the waterproof roof section
of the cover so that side is completely
open.
STEP 3 Lift the cover over the top of
the van and slowly pull it over the roof
area. We suggest using a step ladder or
platform to help with this process.
STEP 4 The securing straps of the cover
can also be used to pull the cover over
the roof of the van. Remember to take
special care of air conditioning units,
solar panels, antennas, and other pro-
truding objects.
STEP 5 When pulling the cover over the
roof be careful not to cause any damage.
If the cover does not slide freely, check
that it is not caught on something. Do
not attempt to t the cover during high
winds or bad weather.
WARNING
Do not over tighten straps as pulling the cover too tight may place undue tension on the seams and sharp edges.
Prestige Covers are designed for storage purposes only and should not be tted while towing or transporting your van.
STEP 6 Once the cover has been pulled
over check it is sitting evenly. Position
the skirting around the base & corners
of the van to ensure it is not caught on
stabilisers or other sharp objects. Zip up
the side panels.
STEP 7 With the cover is in place begin
securing the cover using the buckle
straps located along the base of the
cover. Throw the long straps underneath
the van so they reach the opposite side.
Fasten the buckles and pull the straps
rmly to hold the cover in place.
STEP 8 The cover features reinforced
vinyl tabs located on all four corners of
the cover. These tabs are designed to
take up any excess material.
STEP 9 Using the rope supplied, tie one
end to a reinforced vinyl tab. Create
a criss-cross eect with the rope and
secure but do not overtighten. Do not
use octopus straps or bungee cords as
they can pull the grommet out of the
tab. Do not use these tabs to secure the
cover to the ground in any way.
FITTING THE COVER
Thank you for purchasing a Prestige Cover.
The side panel of the cover
includes three heavy duty zippers
which are ideally located to allow
access through a variety of entry
door congurations. This provides
easy access to vans with doors
positioned at the front, middle or
rear.
• Locate all possible wear and tear points before tment so your cover is less likely to suer damage caused
from rubbing or wearing on these areas.
• Severe winds may also cause damage if not properly tted & secured.
• If by chance the cover is damaged during tment or storage, a self adhesive patch kit has been supplied
with this cover. We recommend applying the patch fabric to both the inside and outside of the damaged
area and the further application of protective tape. As an added precaution you may wish to pre-apply the
patch material to certain areas of the cover that may be subjected to excessive wear. Additional patches
can be purchases seperately (see below).
• Please remember that any damage caused to the cover by extreme weather conditions is not covered
under the product warranty.
The side panel also features a
series of eyelets incorporated
into the hem which allow the side
panel to be used as a temporary
sun awning. We do not recom-
mend this be used during heavy
rain or high winds. Poles not
included.
The side panel also includes inte-
grated hook & loop tabs so it can
be easily rolled up out of the way.
This allows for greater access while
cleaning the interior of the van or
while loading supplies or preparing
the van for a future trip. No need to
completely remove the cover.
All Prestige recreational covers are
manufactured based on a universal
design. They are not manufactured
to suit any particular make or
model of van. In most cases when
the correct size is selected they
oer a comfortable snug t.
