HOW TO USE YOUR IRON
FILLING WITH WATER
make sure that your iron is unplugged from the mains supply and the temperature
is set to to the minimum position
place the iron on the heel rest, tilt forward to approximatly a 45o angle and pour
until the water reaches the MAX level marker on the tank.
VERTICAL STEAM
This is a functionn wherby a surge of steam is produced from the sole plate
and is ideal for removing heavy creases from fabric this function can also be used in
the vertical position on heavely creased hanging fabrics
DRY IRONING
Set the dry/steam selector to 0 (= No steam).
Set the correct iron temperature for the fabric that you are ironing (as per the
washing label of the fabric).
When the iron reaches the temperature that you have set the power indicator
lit will go out and you can start to iron (This will cycle on and off as it regulates
the working temperature of the iron)
STEAM IRONING
Fill the water tank as discribed in lling the water
plug the appliance into the wall socket and switch ON
Set the fabric dial to Max position as indicated on the temerature dial the steam iron
will be available when the Max temerature has been reached and the power light is
out do not use until this point as water may leak from the iron.
To increace or decrease the steam out put adjust the fabric dail until you have the
required steam output.
SURGE OF STEAM
This function works well for tough wrinkles and heavy fabrics. By pressing “Surge of
Steam Button”, an intense burst of steam is emitted from the soleplate; this can be
very useful when removing stubborn creases.
The shot of steam facility can be used only while ironing with high ironing
temperature. For optimal result, there should be 5 seconds burst with a minute rest
period as this will allow the iron to reach the optimum temperature and also stop
any water leaking from the sole plate due to the element being at the incorrect tem-
perature to produce steam.
SELF-CLEANING
Use the self-cleaning function once every two weeks. If the water in your area is very
hard (i.e., when lime scale akes come out of the soleplate during ironing), the self-
cleaning function should be used more frequently.

agents in the water tank.,

out

cover completely out of the iron,at this time,
the self-cleaning begin to work shake the iron to and fro.
Steam and boiling water will come out of the soleplate, impurities and akes (if any)
will be ushed out.
After nishing the self-cleaning process, press the steam cover downward to make
the self-cleaning button return to its original position with no gap.
Repeat the self-cleaning process if the iron still contains a lot of impurities.
After the self-cleaning process, put the plug in the wall socket and let the iron heat
up to allow the soleplate to dry, unplug the iron when it has reached the set ironing
temperature, move the hot iron gently over a piece of used soft dry cloth to remove
any water stains that may have formed on the soleplate,
