Physical and psychological wellbeing depends on the quality and the
quantity of sleep.
The cutting-edge technology and the thoroughly tested and guaranteed
health friendly raw materials used in the elite strom products ensure

Choosing a good mattress is not enough; proper maintenance is
equally important. If you follow the advice of elite strom, you may enjoy
a healthy and restful sleep for a long time.

Placement
of the mattress
A proper bed base ensures good mattress performance and optimizes the
warranty options. In case you haven’t already bought an anatomic frame or
bed from elite strom, you should pay attention to the following:

• The mattress shouldn’t lie on a solid surface made from wood or by-products of
wood (chipboard, particleboard, MDF, etc. nor on a built-in base). Bases like that do not
allow proper ventilation and increase the risk of mold growth.
• Make sure that the slats are not too exible and the spacing between them is not
too wide. The optimal spacing is up to 4cm (image Α). A wider spacing does not support
the mattress properly, resulting in irreparable damage (image B).
The mattress warranty is not valid when the mattress is placed on im-
proper bases that may cause any damage to it.

How to clean
and protect
the mattress
You cannot use chemical or biological cleaning products, steam cleaners and
detergents to clean the mattress. All the above may cause damage to the
raw materials of the mattress and result in the development of humidity. In
case of an accident, remove the moisture with a paper towel without rubbing
and place the mattress near a heating body (avoid replaces, incandescent
devices or re heaters; there is risk of re).

The mattress warranty is not valid, if the mattress is stained, humid and
moldy; therefore, it is necessary to use the appropriate mattress protector
from the elite strom collection.
The only acceptable way to clean your mattress is to apply baking soda on the stain or the
surface of the mattress, wait for 3 hours and then vacuum it up.
CAUTION
Do not iron on the mattress; the heat and the steam cause damage to its materials.
Do not jump nor stand on the mattress; this may cause permanent distortion to the
springs structure.
Do not bend nor fold the mattress lengthwise or crosswise; there is a serious
chance of causing irreparable damage. If you wish to move your mattress, make
sure it stays in a vertical position.
Do not remove nor tear off the label of the mattress; it is part of the warranty.
Ventilate your mattress regularly by taking off the cover for some hours and by
removing the dust from its surface with the use of a vacuum cleaner.
Always use the special mattress protectors of elite strom collection in order to keep
it clean.

Flipping
and rotating
the mattress
If you have a two-sided mattress, you should ip it and rotate it every three
months. This process ensures that most of the sleeping surface is adjusted
to your body and your sleeping positions. Each time you ip your mattress,
perform a 180° turn, alternating between side-to-side ipping and end-over-
end ipping.

All new materials have a specic odor that gradually fades away.
Therefore, it is recommended to ventilate and vacuum your mattress in
order to remove any potential odor.
If you do not follow these instructions for use and maintenance, the pro-
vided warranty ceases to be valid.
* Proper maintenance of one-sided mattresses requires only rotation.

elite strom provides a Written Warranty.

Warranty term
For the rst ve years, the warranty covers 100% of the product value. From
the 6th to the 10th year, the warranty percentage is gradually reduced down
to 10% of the product value* (see the percentages table). In any case, the
company decides at its own discretion whether it shall repair the product or
replace it with another one of the same type, quality and size. If a product is
repaired or replaced pursuant to the warranty provisions, the warranty is not
extended.

The warranty coverage
applies to:
Mattress/ Base
• Any cracks in the wooden parts of the frame.
• Broken springs or wires.
• Springs or wires that stick out or have torn the mattress fabric.
• Sagging in the bed base or the bed-mattress.
• It is valid only within the Greek Territory.
The warranty coverage
does not apply to:
Mattress/ Base
• Any defect in the bed base/ bed-mattress caused by misuse
on behalf of the customer, such as:
- Burnt, wet, torn, broken or stained
(body secretions, etc.) product.
- Bad use.
• Different preferences regarding comfort and rmness (soft, hard, etc.)
• Size differences (length or width) smaller than 1cm.
The warranty is valid provided that the care instructions for the elite strom
products included in this form are properly followed and that the products
are used only for domestic purposes.
The toppers, the babyline collection and the storage box are covered by a complete 5-year
warranty according to the general terms.

The warranty
enters into force
On the date of purchase mentioned in the specic eld of the warranty form as
well as on the relevant purchase receipt.

• In order to conrm the date of purchase, it is necessary for you to keep the
original receipt, which is the only proof of the date of purchase, along with the
warranty form.
• The warranty enters into force as of the original date of purchase of the product
provided that it has been purchased at an elite strom store or an authorized
agent.
For the warranty to be valid, it is necessary to prove the date of purchase
with the demonstration of the relevant receipt. Otherwise, elite strom is
not obliged to provide warranty services.

What does
the warranty cover?
Any product defect caused by a manufacturing defect or material failure.

Repair or replacement process
If you nd that the product has a manufacturing defect, please contact the
customer service department or the shop staff of elite strom and keep the
original receipt and the warranty form handy.
Make an appointment with an elite strom technician, who will come to inspect
the product. If the product defect is actually conrmed and covered by the
warranty, elite strom will make sure that the problem will be xed or repaired or,
if necessary, that the defective part will be replaced.
In case a product or part of it is discontinued at the time of the service, elite
strom reserves its right to use at its own discretion a product or a material of
equal or better quality.
• In case the technician nds that the product is not defective nor is there
a manufacturing defect, the visit will be charged.
• Technicians can only visit areas within the Region of Attica.
If located outside Attica, the customer is solely responsible for the safe
transportation of the mattress to the elite strom factory. In such a case,
the product should be sufciently protected; otherwise, the company will
not recognize potential damages caused during the transportation of the
product to and from its premises.
Transportation of the mattress for service purposes
As long as the product meets the warranty requirements, transportation and
repair cost shall be borne by the company.

• Damages caused by misuse or bad storage.
• Lack of cleanliness, scratches/ damage caused by impact or any other kind
of accidents.

• Products which have been placed outside or in a humid environment, or non-
domestic use.
• Failures and damages caused to the products by a faulty assembly that did
not follow the relevant instructions, improper transportation or careless moving.
• Worn bed fabric.
• Issues regarding comfort or wrong choice of mattress.
• Wrong dimensions provided by the customer or wrong choice and evaluation
of the product.
• Damages caused by customer interventions and changes to the original
product upon decision of the buyer – customer.

Mattress
adjustment
You need time to get used to your new mattress. So, give your new mattress
some time to adjust to your body curves and your sleeping position. An one-
month period of adjustment is recommended.
