Warranty and Service: Elna’s superior reputation was established in 1940 with the production of its first
sewing machine. Ever since, Elna has continued to be a leading brand of home sewing and related equip-
ment especially designed with the innovative sewer in mind. Thousands of professionals worldwide provide
expert service. Millions of people have chosen Elna for its quality, performance and reliability.
Sew for long periods of time ? The indispensable start/stop key
lets you sew with no foot control fatigue. The choice is yours.
Very unique – it’s a handy stitch chart on one side. Flip it over for
a clever message board to clip notes to.
Always looking for your scissors ? Not anymore. Press the auto
thread cut key to quickly cut both threads.
Use two large thread cones - no attachments. Ideal for twin needle
sewing. A separate motor can wind a bobbin while sewing.
Need an extra hand? Use the knee lifter to raise or lower the
presser foot. Great for piecework and pivoting corners.
With the quick resumption mode, you won’t lose data. Turn the
machine back on and the last stitch(es) sewn will be displayed.
Perfect Start angle lines are a smart alternative to either marking
fabrics with a 1/4 inch seam allowance or paper piecing.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to speed through long fabric lengths
at 1000 spm? Set the speed control lever.

Worthy of your talents...
Through the ages sewing has evolved from beautiful work done by
hand to beautiful work done on technologically advanced sewing
equipment. Elna has designated this latest
technology as QHP. Just
what does QHP mean?
Q IS FOR QUILTING If quilting is
your passion, you’ll love Elna’s new scant 1
/4inch foot and the
diverse
assortment of stitches – quilt stitches, pre-programmed stippling
stitches, 7 versions
of appliqué, numerous patchwork stitches and a
French knot. H IS FOR HEIRLOOM Heirloom sewing is
enjoying a revival. Join us in a journey of discovery using Elna’s love-
ly hemstitches. Point de Paris, Rhodes, Turkish, Venetian are just a
few of the exquisite choices. P IS FOR PERFORMANCE
Your fashion sense demands distinctive couture touches, like arrow-
tacks, bartacks and bound buttonholes. Take it a step further
and embellish cuffs, collars, pockets, buttonhole areas with
any of our decorative motifs. No matter where your
talents lie, the Elna Q7200 is the machine for you.
Once again, Elna’s ingenuity has pro
vided a ma-
chine that will compel you to sew.
Imaginative combinations
Often stitches are arranged so they can’t be com-
bined with others. But Elna has done its research
and offers a different approach. You now can
combine utility stitches, quilting stitches, heirloom
stitches, cross stitches, satin stitches and alpha-
bets into a single sequence of your choosing.
Your machine – your settings
Tired of always changing settings for your
favorite techniques? Use the new My Personal
Setting key (PS) to re-program width, length,
elongation, mirror image, face to face for any
of the 126 stitches.
Editing made simple
Oops! Didn’t quite turn out the way you thought
it would? With direct editing, the review memory
keys pinpoint the area to correct. Add, delete
or simply change any stitch in the sequence.
Inside, outside, upside down
Diversity is the key to a truly intriguing effect.
Flip the stitch horizontally or vertically with
the mirror image or face to face keys. You’ll be
fascinated by the possibilities.
Long, longer, longest
Satin stitches can go the extra distance. A touch
of a key stretches the result up to 5 times the
original length without varying the density. This
is just one more aspect of the versatility available
on the Elna Q7200.
The dial is the difference
Keep your fabrics moving smoothly when sewing
multiple layers or specialty fabrics. See? The foot
pressure dial is fully adjustable in the slightest
increment, giving you maximum control.
No more fumbling
Do you often use a variety of thread colors in
your designs but have a hard time seeing that
needle eye? Just pull down the lever and the
needle eye is threaded. It’s that easy!
WHY SUCH A LONG ARM?
It’s 22.5cm – 87/8inches! Because
quilts come in all shapes and sizes,
from miniatures to larger than you
can even imagine. Need more? Fit the
quilt table around the machine and
the sewing area becomes even bigger.
