ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Rack Assembly
1) It is best to keep the tissue on during installation to avoid fingerprinting.
2) Your cookware rack has been shipped assembled. Please check that all the buttonhead screws have remained tight during
shipping. A wrench is provided.
3) We recommend that you anchor your rack into the solid wood of ceiling joists or beams. Carefully measure the area where the
rack is to be hung and install the ceiling screw hooks directly into the wood joists. If it is not convenient to hang your rack
directly into wood joists you may use the new-technology DRYWALL anchors enclosed with your rack. The steel anchors are
very strong and when installed in drywall will hold 200 lbs. each. Two anchors hold about 400 lbs. Follow the instructions in
the Toggler kit.
4) A hanging hook has been provided to lower the rack to a convenient working height. Simply suspend it from the ceiling screw
hook and hang the rack from it.
5) Your rack is now ready to use. Distribute the weight of your cookware evenly around the rack.
6) The care and cleaning of our copper and brass units must be done with a low abrasive cleaner such as “Flitz”. Chrome racks are
best cleaned with a good quality glass cleaner like “Windex”. Our high quality plating will age and tarnish the same as solid
material. A periodic cleaning will restore your rack to its original brilliance.
It is important that your rack is assembled correctly. If the unit is assembled or used incorrectly, it
could become unstable and collapse, possibly causing injury.
