The ETPRO-30W represents the latest in soldering iron technology. Using
a rechargeable lithium battery, this unit delivers a 30W output suitable for
automotive / industrial applications.
New rapid heat technology generates a 420 degree temperature within 35
seconds. The unit has a 45 minutes continuous runtime. Rechargeable
via mini USB.
This soldering is rechargeable. Using the supplied cable, insert the Micro
USB connector into the end of the soldering iron, and the USB connector to
a wall charger / computer port.
A full charge will take approximately 3.5 hours. Once charged, the indicator
light will turn green
Soldering Instructions
1. Thoroughly clean and remove oil and other contaminants from the parts to be
soldered.
2. Use only small amounts of solder. Excess solder can cause a short circuit.
3. Slide the soldering iron switch to the ON position. Press and hold the power button. LED will illuminate indicating that the iron is on.
4. Allow the tip to reach working temperature (about 10 seconds). Apply a small amount of solder to tapered surface of tip. Remove
excess solder with a damp soft rag or sponge.
5. Tin wires by heating the bare wire and allowing a small amount of solder to flow onto the tip of the wire.
6. Touch the tapered surface of the tip (not the point) to the joint to be soldered. Heat joint and allow heat from joint to melt solder.
7. Allow a small amount of solder to flow into the joint.
8. To ensure a strong joint, do not touch or move the joint until it has cooled completely.
1. Slide soldering iron switch to the ON position. Press and hold the power button. LED will illuminate indicating the iron is on.
2. Allow the knife to reach working temperature (about 10 seconds). Cut the object you want.
1. Ensure soldering iron switch is in the OFF position. Allow tip to cool completely before replacing tip.
2. Use only genuine replacement tips.
3. Unscrew old tip by rotating translucent locking nut counterclockwise.
4. Screw in new tip by rotating translucent locking nut clockwise until it snaps on lock position. Note: Align the notch on the housing
to install the new tip.
5. Do not file the tip.

Rotate the black knurled nut to adjust the direction of the tip.

Warnings
Potential electrical shock. Do not use soldering iron if housing is cracked or damaged. Never use in wet area. Do not attempt to
repair or modify soldering iron. Always de-energize devices being soldered.
Potential burn hazard. Hot tip can cause severe burns. Do not touch tip of tool. Allow tool to cool before touching tip or replacing
protective cap. Tip remains hot after use for several minutes.

Warnings

• Always store the soldering iron in a dry place out of reach of children or anyone who has not read these instructions.
• Always were eye protection and gloves when operating the soldering iron.
• Never touch the tip of a hot soldering iron or attempt to remove solder from the tip with your hands.
• Always rest the soldering iron where heat from soldering iron cannot damage nearby items.
• Ensure that switch is in the OFF position when the iron is not in use.
• Ensure tip is cool before storing the soldering iron. Never leave soldering iron unattended.
• Do not disassemble or modify the battery. The battery contains safety and protection devices which if damaged, may cause the
battery to generate heat, rupture or ignite.

Endeavour Tools guarantees this unit against defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of
purchase. This warranty excludes consumable items in this kit. Endeavour Tools warrants the quality of these goods against defects in
material and workmanship only.
Defective goods shall only be replaced, repaired or purchase price refunded if:
• The customer notifies Endeavour Tools by providing a full report describing the defect in writing within 7 days of the discovery of the
defect; and
• The notification above provided to Endeavour Tools is prior to the expiry of the warranty period; and
• The customer forwards the defective goods together with proof of purchase from Endeavour Tools or its authorized distributor at their
expense, within 14 days of any request by Endeavour Tools to do so; and
• The goods since the date of delivery to the customer have been properly maintained, stored and housed and the goods have not
been abused, or modified, or the case opened.
Endeavour Tools may replace or repair the defective good (or part thereof) or refund the purchase price of the defective good, at its
option. Endeavour Tools shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from or in any way connected with the use of the goods.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, a claim in respect to a defective good shall not be permitted in the event that the goods have
not been installed, used, maintained, or housed in a proper and workmanlike manner or in accordance with the usual standards or
manufacturer’s specifications or instructions, or if the goods have been modified, repaired or altered by any person apart from Endeavour
Tools.
Notwithstanding our warranty terms above, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure.
The benefits under our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under law in relation to the goods.
