Problem Probable Causes Solutions
• Breaker tripped • Verify that the proper size breaker has been installed for the
product purchased. Replace breaker if necessary.
• Verify that a C-type or motor rated breaker is installed. Replace
breaker if necessary.
• Verify wiring of the circuit breaker:
• Neutral and load wires are properly connected.
• Replace breaker
Hydraulic power unit WILL
NOT turn on with the
transmitter
• Problem with transmitter • Verify the LED light on the transmitter lights up when pressing
any button (If no LED light present, replace battery in the
transmitter. If still no LED light after replacing battery, replace
transmitter or use another transmitter.
• Program transmitter to the receiver board (see programming
procedure on page 5)
• Heartbeat light and
green LED lights on the
receiver board are OFF
• Check power source to confirm breaker is ON
• Verify voltage on the line side of the contactor between Line
and Neutral (220V).
• Check for loose connections between black and red receiver
board supply wires at the line side of the contactor.
• Partially remove black and red wires from LINE 1 IN and LINE 2
IN on the receiver board and verify voltage on the ends of the
female spade connectors (220V). If proper voltage is present
replace receiver board.
• Heartbeat light is OFF
but 4 green LED lights
are ON
• Press the “RESET” button on the receiver board and allow 2-3
minutes for the controller to reboot.
• Perform factory reset of the receiver board (see factory reset
procedure on page 5)
• Replace receiver board

Problem Probable Causes Solutions
Hydraulic power unit WILL
NOT turn on with the
transmitter
• Heartbeat light error 3
Open float switch circuit
(3 blinks, off for 5
seconds)
• Verify hydraulic fluid level in the hydraulic power unit reservoir.
Add hydraulic fluid if necessary. Press “RESET” button on
receiver board and allow 2-3 minutes for the controller to
reboot.
• Verify the float switch connections are secured to the receiver
board (black wire to SIG –and white wire to SIG +)
• Remove the cord attached to float level switch and verify
continuity between the parallel male prongs of the float level
switch. If no continuity, replace float level switch.
• Perform factory reset of the receiver board (see factory reset
procedure on page 5)
• Replace receiver board
• Loose wiring connections • Verify Line 1, Neutral, A1, and A2 connections on both the line
side and load side of the contactor are tight.
• Verify wires in the field wiring box of electric motor are tight.
• Problem with contactor • Verify 220V on line side of contactor between Line and Neutral
wires. Press in contactor override button and verify 220V on
load side of contactor between Line and Neutral wires. If
voltage on load side of contactor is not 220V when contactor
override is pressed, replace contactor.
• Thermal overload tripped • Verify thermal overload of electric motor isn’t tripped. Reset
overload if necessary. If overload continues to trip, verify proper
ventilation or replace thermal overload.

Procedure Instructions
Programming Transmitter to Receiver Board  Press and hold the external learn button (red button on the
underside of the controller) or the “LEARN” button on the
receiver board until the red LED learn button light on the
receiver board turns on solid.
 Remove finger from the learn button when the learn button light
turns on. While the light remains on, press and hold any button
on the transmitter.
 The learn button light on the receiver board will blink twice and
then turn off.
Factory Reset of Receiver Board  Press and hold the “SW2” button on the receiver board for about
30 seconds. When holding the SW2 button the heartbeat light
will start blinking slowly. Continue to hold the SW2 button until
the heartbeat light starts blinking rapidly before removing finger
from the button.
 Allow 2-3 minutes for the controller to reboot. When the reboot
cycle is complete, the heartbeat light should blink on and off
steadily every 2 seconds. A factory reset will reset the receiver
board to its factory settings.
