Layout
• Planthedesiredlayoutofthisfittingcarefully,ensuring
thecableswillreachthedistancebetweenthejunction
boxandthelightfitting.
• Avoidlocatinganycablesinpositionsthatwouldcause
ahazard.Positioncablesandjunctionboxes(not
supplied)awayfromareaswheretheymaybeatrisk
frombeingcut,trappedordamaged.
• Cablesinwallsmustbeprotectedusingsuitable
conduitorplastictrunking.
• Themainssupplycablemusthaveaminimumcross
sectionalareaof1.0mm².
• Thisproducthasspecialprotectionagainsttheingress
ofmoistureandisIP44rated.
• Thisproductisfittedwithanotouchinfra-redswitch,
helpingtokeepitclearoffingerprints.Whenmounting
themirror,thesensorswitchmustbeatleast150mm
fromanadjacentwallorobstructiontoensurethe
switchcanfunctionproperly.
Existingfittingsmustbecompletelyremovedbefore
installationofanewproduct.Beforeremovingtheexisting
fitting,carefully note the position of each set of wires.
• Theinstallationofthisproductwillbeeasierwiththe
helpofanassistant.
• Loosenfixingscrewsandremovethemirrorpanelfrom
theback.Keepthescrewsinasafeplaceforrefittinglater
(Fig.1).
• Usingthewallbackasatemplate,markthepositionof
thefixingholes.Drilltheholes.Thenfixthewallbackin
placeusingthesuppliedscrewsandwallplugs(Fig.2).
