I Mechanischer Aufbau.
Technische Spezifikationen
Die Standard-Objektive mit CS-Mount
enthalten einen sogenannten Galvano-
meter-Antrieb, d.h. nach dem Prinzip eines
Drehspulmessgerätes, bei dem an Stelle
des Zeigers die Blendenlamellen bewegt
werden.
Angesteuert wird der Galvanometer über
eine im Objektiv enthaltene Verstärker-
platine (AI-Steuerung) oder direkt (DC-
Spannungssteuerung).

DC-Spannungssteuerung: DC Control
Die C-Mount-Nadelöhrobjektive sind mit
einem Servo-Motorantrieb ausgestattet,
der nach dem Drehmagnetprinzip arbeitet.
Eine Verstärkerplatine für die AI-Steuerung
ist ebenfalls im Objektiv eingebaut.
CS-Mount Objektive
Die Autoiris-Typen werden in der üblichen
Art über das Video-Signal angesteuert;
mittels den von außen zugänglichen
Potentiometer-Reglern wird die Pegel-
bzw. Lichtwerteinstellung vorgenommen.
Für die Verwendung der DC-Control-Typen
ist es erforderlich, dass die notwendige
Steuerplatine in die Kamera integriert ist.
Nach dem Einschrauben des Objektivs in
die Kamera erlaubt die Rutschkupplung
am CS-Mount-Anschluss eine radiale
Verdrehung um bis zu 350°, um z.B. den
Kabelanschluss an die gewünschte Stelle
zu bringen.

III Einstellung der AI-Objektive,
Signalpegel:
Das Videosignal der Kamera kann mit dem
Potentiometer (2) zwischen 0,5 und 1,0Vss
eingestellt werden. Zweckmäßigerweise
geschieht dies mittels Oszillograf und
ausreichend beleuchtetem Testbild (min.
3.000Lux). Stehen diese Hilfsmittel einmal
nicht zur Verfügung, muss man versuchen,
eine annähernde Einstellung nach dem
subjektiven Bildeindruck vorzunehmen,
wobei der Regler (2) bei stark überstrahl-
tem Bild nach links bzw. bei geringem
Kontrast nach rechts zu drehen ist.

IV Einstellung der DC Control
Objektive
Falls es sich um eine einstellbare Kamera
handelt, ist der Schalter auf „DC” zu
stellen:

Für den Abgleich des Objektivs ist die
Kamera-Beschreibung zu beachten.

Mittel-/Spitzenwertregelung:
Ist trotz korrekt eingestellter Pegelhöhe der
Bildeindruck nicht zufriedenstellend, kann
es daran liegen, dass starke Helligkeits-
unterschiede im Bild (evtl. Spitzlichter)
die Regelung verfälschen. Abhilfe erfolgt
mit dem Pk/Av-Potentiometer (3). Im
Auslieferzustand ist die Optik auf Mittel-
wertregelung eingestellt. Durch Drehen
des Reglers nach links ist eine stufenlose
Einstellung bis auf 100% Spitzenwert-
regelung möglich und damit eine bessere
Erkennbarkeit überstrahlter Bildpartien.

CS Mount Lenses
I Mechanical Construction.
Technical Specifications
The CS Mount lenses of the standard
series contain a so-called galvanometer
drive, i.e. on a moving-coil instrument
principle whereby the iris blades are
moved instead of the pointer.
The galvanometer is either driven directly
(variable DC voltage control) or by means
of a printed circuit amplifier (AI control)
in the lens.
AI control: Auto Iris

The C Mount pinhole lenses contain
a servometric iris drive, i.e. a moving-

magnet instrument system.
The video amplifier is built-in the lens.
Auto Iris models are driven - as usual - by
video signal, outside accessible potentio-
meters are used for „Level” and „ALC”
adjustments. The required control printed
circuit has to be integrated in the camera
if DC Control types are used.
Once the lens has been screwed onto the
camera, the slipping mechanism on the CS
Mount connection allows radial turning of
up to 350°, for example to locate the cable
connection at the desired point.

III Adjustment of the AI lenses,
Signal level
The camera signal level can be adjusted
from 0,5 to 1,0Vpp using potentiometer (2).
An oscillograph and a well-lit test pattern
(min. 3.000lux) are used for this purpose.
If these test aids are not available, an
approximate adjustment has to be tried
according to the subjective picture
impression: turn control (2) to the left if the
picture is too bright and to the right if the
contrast is too low.
IV Adjustment of the DC control lens
The switch should be set to „DC” if a
convertible camera is being used.

Average and peak value control
If the picture still is not satisfactory,
despite correct level adjustment, large
differences in brightness levels in the
picture which falsify control could be the
reason. This can be corrected with the
Pk/Av potentiometer (3). When leaving the
factory the lenses are set at an average
control level. Continuous adjustment up
to 100% peak control value is possible by
turning the control to the left to provide
better recognition of picture areas which
are too bright.
