2. Product model, principle and structure
2.1. Principle
The FINHRM5 series is designed to attenuate the level of current harmonic distortion up
to a level of 5% (TDD).

2.2. Application
The common use of Variable Speed drives based on 6 pulses input stage introduced high
level of current distortion in the electrical network.
The use of FINHRM5 series allows to reduce the level of distortion caused by these
device into level not dangerous and specified in different standards (i.e. IEEE519).

3. Product installation,
3.1. Electrical wiring

NOTE:
1. The product is divided in 3 different blocks:
a)Main choke H5D.080.M1170
b)Trap choke H5R.080.060.1170
c)Trap cap FINC.0250.M
2. The electrical connection is indicated in the previous diagram, the OUPUT side
must be connected to the load, generally the VSD or multiple VSD, the INPUT side will
be connected to the line.
3. For the cables connection of the blocks follow the indication of the table at 3.3.
4. Connection on inout and output terminals must be done with proper cables for the
application
5. If the load is only one drive use proper protection for the drive, in case the load are
multiple VSD use proper protection for each drive.
6. The minimum distance between every block must be at least 7 cm
