
STEP 3 - Backup and configure system software.
Ref. Section 3.1
Make a backup copy of the Cabletron software diskette.
Insert this diskette into a PC, type
SETUP <Enter>
, and
follow the conÞguration screens. Use Page Up and Page
Down to move between screens. Detailed instructions are
outlined in Chapter 3. Enter the interface unit serial numbers
you recorded in Step 1 into the Transceiver List.
STEP 4 - Assemble the Wireless Hub and Antenna.

Connect the Wireless Hub antenna to the Wireless Hub
Chassis as in Figure 4, below. Orient the antenna as shown in
Figure 5. Connect either the AUI port or the RJ-45 port on the
Wireless Hub rear panel to an Ethernet backbone or
transceiver. Set the port select switch for the port you use.

STEP 5 - Boot Wireless Hub with configured software.
Insert the conÞgured software diskette into the Wireless Hub.
Push the Power ON switch. The Wireless Hub should boot
and become operational in approximately two minutes.
