ALCOVE SHOWER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
This is all you need to begin the installation of an Envirotec shower!
- Water supply (hot / old depending on shower type being installed),
- Waste fitting (below floor type shown) and possibly an ele tri al supply
if an ele tri shower is being installed.
Follow shower valve / ele tri shower manufa turer’s guidelines for
details of spe ifi requirements
IF YOU NEED TO RUN YOUR WASTE ABOVE THE FLOOR, YOU WILL
NEED AN ENVIROTEC BATHING LIFTING KIT (AVAILABLE SEPERATELY).
PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH THE LIFTING KIT OR
ONLINE. WASTE POSITION DETAILS ARE AVAILABLE IN PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SHEETS (ALSO
AVAILABLE ONLINE).
Pla e the tray se tion of the Envirote Bathing shower in position and he k for level along both
walls (3). Also he k that all feet are in onta t with the ground (the tray should feel solid with no
“spring” when tested). If adjustment is required, arefully turn the tray over using a soft blanket on
the floor as prote tion and adjust the feet until orre t floor onta t is a hieved (4).

INSTALLATION OF YOUR ENVIROTEC BATHING SHOWER ENCLOSURE IS QUICK AND EASY.
HOWEVER, PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AS THE
MANUFACTURER CANNOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ISSUES ARISING FROM INCORRECT
INSTALLATION.
We re ommend that the Envirote Bathing Shower En losure is installed by a suitably
qualified person and that lo al building and water regulations are followed. Che k for
on ealed water and gas pipes and ele tri al ables within the building stru ture prior
to drilling.
Wear suitable prote tive equipment i.e. safety glasses, gloves et . during installation
The surfa e finish of every Envirote Bathing Shower En losure is designed to give
years of trouble free usage but it should be prote ted with a soft blanket or similar
during installation. Be sure to use a suitable prote tion within the tray while installing
the produ t and DO NOT pla e tools or hard obje ts su h as s rews et . on the gloss
surfa e of the shower as s rat hing an o ur.
The Envirote Bathing Shower En losure is supplied in two parts to ease a ess into
the bathroom. Ea h shower omponent should be arried by two people to avoid
damage while limbing stairs, negotiating orners et . DO NOT DRAG THE ENVIROTEC
BATHING SHOWER ENCLOSURE ALONG THE FLOOR.
CLEANING - USE ONLY WATER AND DETERGENT, DO NOT USE AGGRESSIVE HIGH

Lift the tray se tion away from the bathroom walls and atta h the upper half (halves) of the shower.
Note the gasket between the joints (5) — are should be taken to avoid damage to it. Install the
nuts and bolts in ea h hole in the joint, pla ing a washer under every nut and every bolt (6).
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS AS DAMAGE TO THE SHOWER MAY RESULT
Follow the manufa turers instru tions and mark / drill holes to suit the shower valve or ele tri
shower being fitted (7). Install the shower valve (8). Valves and risers may be atta hed to the flat
wall panels if they are drilled through only to the timber ore (9). S rews should se ure into the
timber. TIP– apply a pie e of masking tape over the area to be drilled before attempting to drill the
Envirote Bathing Shower En losure. The tape will prevent the drill from skating and s rat hing the
surfa e.
Lift the Envirote Bathing Shower En losure ba k into the orner and mark through the pre drilled
holes in the edges as shown. Drill and install suitable wall plugs a ording to the wall type (10). Lift
the Envirote Bathing Shower En losure ba k into its final position, onne ting the water (and
ele tri al) supply while doing so (11). Flexi pipes should be used for the water onne tions.

Install the waste fitting and s rew the Envirote Bathing Shower En losure to the walls taking are
not to over tighten the s rews (12). The shower door may now be installed a ording to
manufa turers instru tions (13) and an be atta hed dire tly to the Envirote Leak free shower
en losure.
