Note for electricia . This product comes with 13 amp plug(s) fitted
with RCD u it. We leave the way you prefer to co ect this to your-
self due to co ti ued additio s to curre t regulatio s. As at October
2010 we offered two followi g alter atives.
1) Co ect withi curre t laws a d IP directives usi g plug a d RCD
provided with steam versio or supply o e for o steam versio
2) (Preferred) Wire i to isolated fused feed co ecti g directly to
the house co sumer / service box. Remove the plug / RCD fitted a d
e sure the Co sumer u it has capabilities to replace RCD feature.
Always use protectio agai st electrical surge. Your shower should
be treated the same as a home computer. A surge protector should
eradicate the possibility of either the tra sformer or computer co -
trol bei g bur t out because of this reaso .
Please ote earth is required a d fou d o chassis of shower tray. A
further earth is required from Steam Ge erator u it. Each earth
must grou d through power supply li e.

TO START.
Make sure you have a clear space, remember whe fi ished a d i
place you eed access to check your build a d able to pull the
shower out should you eed to replace a ythi g!
Taki g the tub remove all protective films a d the colum s packed
at the rear of the bath. You ow eed to level it i order the water
ru s correctly dow the waste. Place the bath sectio o the posi-
tio you require it whe fully built. Now usi g a sprit level carefully
adjust the feet u der eath. Whe you are happy with the result
a d all feet firmly co ect to the floor move the bath out to a
more assessable worki g space.
Now secure the bath waste a d seal i to positio to alig a d
poi t the same way as your house waste as would be ormally u -
dertake with a sta dard bath. Check ow the pipe attached to
the spigot comi g from the waste is tight a d the clip firm. This
pipe goes to the steam ge erator waste.

Now while you have access, remember everythi g is ormally lose
a d fitted for tra sit o ly. Check tight ess of head rest chrome fit-
ti gs to bath. Note why ot loose a d silico e ge tly be-
twee chrome leg a d bath mati g surface, ow tighte , good pre-
ve tative measure agai st water!!! Thi k the same about a y
other fixi g duri g build. Check water outlet filler, steam outlet,
a d a y other fitme t for tight ess. If preferred seal betwee a y
joi t you feel ecessary. Doi g this ow is far easier tha whe
build is complete.
Havi g made sure the first stage is completed correctly you ca
move o the ext.
Taki g the left ha d side glass (ti t) a d the left ha d rear (ti t)
place i positio o the bath tub. Note: Cut outs i alumi ium side
glass supports, these go to the rear of the tub with cut out just
over lip of bath. Rear glasses are left a d right, shi y side to be i -
side cabi . Check picture below, the holes i each glass will alig
with the fitti gs i side. Maki g sure each e d mates to the other,
carefully drill holes through the slots provided to accommodate
screws, these are the back wall to side glass a d rear pa el to the
tub. Make certai both are alig ed o to tub parallel to tub edges.
Note: Use correct screws ot too lo g to protrude. Now remove off
the tub a d silico e the mati g surfaces: Side pa el edge to rear
pa el maki g sure the seal is goi g to be o the i side of screw
holes to preve t water i gress dow screw thread. Side pa el a d
rear pa el surfaces where they will meet o to the tub. Whe i
place, screw i to holes you have just drilled. Side pa els rest a d
are ot screwed to the tub. Careful to use screws that do ot pro-
trude! Careful ot to damage glass backi g film with drill body.

You ow have the right ha d side pa el i place a d the right ha d
rear pa el. The ext stage is to take the ce tre colum co trol
pa el a d screw to the right ha d rear glass frame. Agai , repeat-
i g the procedure as before drill through pre-marked slots carefully
maki g sure ot to drill too far or to mark rear pa el. Place the top
a d bottom plastic trim strips o the colum usi g a fi e bead of
silico e to seal a d hold i place. O the bottom of the lower trim,
silico e seal a d press i to place o the tub. Screw colum to the
side pa el.

Now you have attached the three pa els, work your way rou d re-
peati g the same process attachi g the right back pa el a d side
glass right ha d side. Seal as before.
The shower bath cabi will ow have both the sides a d back rear
pa els o .
Taki g the bottom fro t cross bar that will form the support a d
the ru er for the door a d fro t glasses. Screw i to left ha d side
pa el through the two holes. Seal u der the crossbar where it will
mate with tub. Make sure this is fully sealed from o e e d to the
other. Now secure the same way but through the right ha d side
pa el. Repeat this operatio agai ow usi g the top cross bar sup-
port. NOTE: The wider crossbar fits to the top, check picture of pro-
file. Notice lip for roof to fit i side. Notice curve i ru er for door
wheels. Bottom crossbar profile as show the curve will be to-
wards the top.

Secure the crossbar to the side frame

with the alumi ium trim you have just fitted. Squeeze the joi t
firmly tight alig the holes a d screw i each. Four holes are pre-
se t o each fro t cor er.

Worki g from i side the shower, you will otice two holes i the
bottom crossbar a d the same at the top. Usi g the correct le gth
screw, screw i to each hole a d secure the uprights of the glass.
Bottom retai i g colum screw repeat both sides top a d bottom.
Taki g o e door at a time fix wheels these will be wheel “Tyre” to-
wards the outside of the door. Butto versio s are at the bottom,
o butto at the top Now affix door ha dles i er a d outer. Tak-
i g a mag etic trim place firmly o the outer edge of the door e d
as it will close. Repeat the procedure o the other door. Note:
Make sure mag ets attract ot repel! O the traili g edge of the
door fit steam escape trims with the flexible e d to touch Alumi -
ium upright whe i closed positio . Taki g o e door, clip i to the
top ru er a d press butto s i the bottom wheels to clip i to the
lower ru er. Repeat for seco d door. Check alig me t of doors by
closi g them. Do they firmly seal all the way from top to bottom? If
so they are fitted correctly, if ot you eed to adjust them. Adjust-
me t is made by tur i g the screw heads fou d i each wheel fit-
me t. Screw i at bottom outer wheels to close gap at top a d vice
versa. If the door looks as if it is too loose i ru ers tighte top
a d bottom equally checki g that both ru smoothly. Whe this
operatio is do e take the four door stops a d fit o e at a time to
each of the predrilled holes fou d i the top a d bottom door ru -
er crossbars.

With all the shower cabi ow built, it is time to fit all accessories
a d shower fu ctio s fou d i side the cabi . To check where each
part fits take a look agai at the picture below:

Door stop fitted to lower crossbar

The left ha d rear glass has the shelves fitted through holes i glass
a d tighte ed by the 4 x retai i g screws a d washers. Do ot over
tighte a ythi g, to avoid glass shatteri g!!! O the right ha d
glass fit the ha d shower riser through glass, attach lo ger silver
flexi hose to ha d shower a d attach to the water i let of the ha d
riser bar. Foot massager is held i place by 2 x white k obs. Agai
tighte through glass a d press foot spa box o to k obs to park it.
Attach silver (shorter of the two) flexi hoses to box. Directly below
this you will have o e hole left, this is for the foot spa water feed
supply. Take the chrome rou d diverter, place the thread through
the hole a d tighte with ut o the rear. Co ect the other e d of
the silver hose to the diverter feed. NOTE: Feed poi ts dow wards.
The last item ow to be fitted is the back rest. Look at the picture
agai a d you will see the back rest fitted over 4 x small massage
jets. O the colum remove the 4 x chrome jet head uts, these
have a cross type cut out to assist if tight but make sure you do ot
damage the fi ish! Next to each small jet you may see a further
hole which was cut i to the colum to allow fitti g at the factory.
Fill this ow with sealer. Press the back rest over each jet carefully
a d tighte chrome head uts. This e sures o leaks a d the back
rest is firmly fitted i place.
Movi g rou d to the rear of the shower ow, you eed to co ect
water feed hoses, tighte hoses a d check tight ess of all jets.
Firstly jets, these will have a washer fitted a d whe correctly
tighte ed will be water tight but to be prude t a d e sure lo g life
agai st a y leak i years to come why ot loose each jet a d seal
behi d it. Takes two mi utes a d lasts a lifetime!

ARE THEY ALL TIGHT INCLUDING THE ONES PRE FITTED? Note:
These are o ly coupled for tra sit a d ever tighte ed from the
factory.
Looki g agai at the picture above, there are 3 x braided hose co -
ectio s. Look closely at these, o e will have a blue dot o it a d
o e red. This is the correct co ectio s for house feed hot to red
a d cold house feed to blue. The middle o e is the feed to the
steam ge erator. Tighte all co ectio s but first ote that clear
eopre e washer are seated correctly i side the e d of each hose.
Happy they are? Fit a d tighte !
Movi g dow to the shower tub, you will otice the electric box
a d steam ge erator. Follow braided hose to the steam ge erator
which should read “Water i ” Tighte this firmly. While there
check the steam ge erator “Water out” a d “Steam” pipes are all
tight.

Shower electrics Connections.
At this stage you will eed to co ect the followi g. These are all
12V a d co sidered “safe” for DIY co ectio as
each is labelled a d low voltage.
NEVER CONNECT TO MAINS AT THIS STAGE
Overhead light * Led rear pa el lights * tub lights (couple to Over-
head light feed) * Ozo e (if fitted) * Speaker * fa * Aerial (u fold
if fitted) * i ter al LED lights (if fitted) *Telepho e co ectio *
C.D exter al jacks if required.
Note: The Cd jack ca be used to couple a iPod. Cables are avail-
able via Mapli s Electrical if you prefer.
Ide tify these co ectio s a d s ap together with co ector
blocks o the e d of each.
Couple a y mai s leads to Steam Ge erator a d a y DIN type
plugs (if fitted) or the alter ative computer type co ectors with
two screws o e each side. NEVER CONNECT TO THE HOUSE MAINS

With the shower still ot fully positio ed as you will require it.
Complete the followi g tests:

Ozo e if fitted, radio, TV, u derwater light, fa . Below is a copy of

To check tub operation.
The button at the rear of the tub behind head rest as you look from
outside is on / off whirlpool
The button towards the front of the tub head rest as viewed from
outside is air bleed. This increases power by bleeding air to the sys-
tem but remember, prolonged use of air cools the bath down rap-
idly!!

The u derwater light operatio is activated by pressi g the light
butto ( umber 5 o the previous page) o the co trol pa el. This
is co ected i to the same circuit as the roof light.
Sealing your shower
You will ow eed to apply a fi al seali g of pa els built a d joi ts
made to e sure i tegrity while i use. If you have sealed as i -
structed correctly at the time of build o water leaks will be pre-
se t. ARE YOU CONFIDENT? If ot NEATLY bead alo g vertical a d
horizo tal joi ts. Remember the key is u broke bead a d very
eatly otherwise the sealer will start to “off colour” i mo ths to
come. I a y eve t we suggest beadi g i ter ally the tub to the
shower frame.

Pressure Requirements from your house supply.
We recomme d a bar pressure betwee 2 a d 3 bar. If you have a
combi boiler system o problem should be experie ced. If you
have a gravity feed older type of i stallatio (hot water ta k type
usually less tha 1 bar) you will almost certai ly eed a pump. We
ca ot advise o which type of pump is used, locatio or desig
because all house plumbi g layouts vary. This is a job for your i -
staller /plumber. The e d delivery however must fall withi the
scope above.
Debit Requirements.
You will eed the debit capabilities of at least 10 litres per mi ute.
Agai a average combi boiler will supply this but please check if
you have a gravity feed system.
Important Note Do ot exceed 3 bar pressure u der a y circum-
sta ces. Warra ty void if so as damage will occur. If combi. type
supply, use a pressure reduci g valve if required.
Rememberi g this product is free sta di g a d desig ed to be
pulled away from the wall, the water supply pipes a d waste pipe
require flexible pipes. If you purchased the fitted kit with this
shower you will have the required fitti gs. The water supply pipes
eed to be at least 1 metre lo g a d flexi braided type ot speed

LEAVING SHOWER 24 HOURS AFTER BUILD ALLOWING SEALENT TO
CURE HAVE YOU BUILT THIS CORRECTLY? FIND OUT NOW.
With all co ectio s tight, the waste a d hoses checked, jets fully
sealed, your shower still arou d18 i ches from its desig ated fi al
resti g poi t a d the silico e sealer fully cured (he ce leavi g for
24 hours at mi ) Switch o the overhead shower NOT massage jets
remember these will fire water out at you a d are ot suitable for
checki g leaks as they would ormally o ly operate whe a perso
is fully i fro t of them. Just use COLD water setti g as hot will
make cabi misty a d co de sate thus the i spectio becomes
very difficult. Now o the OUTSIDE i spect each joi t, factory seal,
hose, clip, jet, from o e side goi g rou d to the back a d the
other side fi ishi g at the fro t. If you have a small leak ( ormally
caused through i sufficie t sealer or air bubble o assemble. Dry
area thoroughly a d reseal o the OUTSIDE. Agai remember
where you see water may ot be exactly where the leak is, it could
have ru rou d to a low poi t. Never seal a ythi g i side u less
you feel it ecessary a d make sure it is thi a d eat, remember
you will see this for the life of your shower! Leave to cure agai
a d check. If all good ow check shower fu ctio s, Jets for back
massage, foot massage, (if you have o e) a d fi ally ha d shower,
check your joi ts to these fu ctio s at the rear agai . Never use
the shower u til all checks have bee made a d the i staller is
100% happy i the k owledge o leaks are prese t. All good? Now
push your shower FROM THE BASE NEVER GLASS OR FRAME i to
its fi al resti g positio . Now you ca shower i the k owledge
