Prior to se . . .
Step 1: Charge
Before using the epoc Rea er, charge its battery as follows:
1. Make sure the Rea er is OFF. If the Power Button In icator is green, press an hol the
power button for at least three secon s to turn the Rea er off.
2. Plug the AC A apter into a wall socket.
3. Plug the AC A apter into the power jack on the back of the Rea er.
•The amber battery status in icator will start blinking
•When the battery has been fully charge , the amber battery status in icator will stop
blinking
Note: Initial charge will take approximately four hours.
Step 2: Label
Label the epoc Rea er to help easily i entify it from other Rea ers in your facility. Use the
inclu e labels, an place the clear overlay over the label to increase its urability.
Note: Before placing this nit into service, cons lt yo r facility’s internal
q ality control proced res and reg latory req irements.
