TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE SOLUTION
1.
THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT GET WATER :-
a. There is no water supply Check the water supply network.
b. The pressure of the supplied
water is
too low.
Check the water pressure
(must be 2 bar)
c. The water supply hose is bent Check and stretch the hose.
d. The filter of the water supply
hose is choked.
Clean the filter: For the model SUPER
AUTOMATIC, remove the back cover of
the appliance, remove the supply hose and
clean the filter. Fix the hose properly and
start a washing program (without dishes and
detergent inside) in order to check if the
appliance get water and if the fixing of the
hose is proper without any leakage. By the
end of program, fix the cover on the
appliance. For the models of PLS-Series, act
as above but without removing the back
cover. (On these appliances the supply hose
is fixed outside).
e. REPAIR requirement. Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty water supply electrovalve
b.Faulty Pressostat

SMOKE APPEARANCE AND SMELLING OF BURNED RUBBER :-
a. The appliance did not get water Let appliance cool down for a couple of
hours. Check the water pressure and
water supply hose for bending. Start new
washing program from the beginning. In
case that the problem insists, see 1d.

b.The appliance lose water (by
the draining hose) during the
washing program.
In case that the water drained suddenly
during the program and some smoke
emitted, stop the program turn the timer
switch to the start point and after a
couple of hours start it on again. If the
problem insists, see 2b.
c. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty door micro-switch.
b.Damaged pump coil.
c.Faulty safety thermostat.
3.
THE HEATING ELEMENT INDICATOR LIGHTS OFF AND ON DURING THE
PROGRAM :-
a. The appliance did not get water
Open the door, turn the timer switch to
the start point and start on the program
from the beginning. If the problem
insists, see Id.
b.The appliance lose water (by the
draining hose) during the washing
program.
In case that the water drained suddenly
at the time that the indicator lighted off
(realize it by opening the door at the
moment that the indicator turns off and
seeing that the water inside has been
drained), see 24c.
c. REPAIR requirement
Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty heating element or It needs
cleaning from calcars.
b. Faulty safety thermostat.
4.
WATER IS LEAKING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE APPLIANCE :-
a. REPAIR requirement
Possible malfunction:
a. Crevice on the tub.
b.Damaged flange of the pressure pump.
c. Damaged flange of thermostats on the tub.
d. Damaged pump connection hoses.
e. Loose hose clamps

5.
WATER IS LEAKING FROM THE EDGES OF THE DOOR :-
a. Damaged door. Replace the door
b. Damaged water sprinkler. Possible side crevice on the sprinkler, it stops to
spin during the program and send the water not
upwards but to the door, causes the leakage.
Replace the water sprinkler.
c. Deficient water draining. In case that the appliance does not drain the hole
water quantity from inside, when it gets water
again, the water level goes high and causes the
leakage. See 7a.
c. Detergent residues on the edges of the
door.
The detergent residues make a crust on the door
edges which lift the water level on these points
cause the leakage when the water sprinkler get
spin. Remove the door and clean it properly with a
sponge as well as the door frame on the cavity.
Install the door and start on the appliance from the
beginning.
e. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Pressostat (change or adjust it)
b. Water supply electro valve.
6.
WATER IS LEAKING FROM THE BACK OF THE APPLIANCE :-
a. Damaged water sprinkler See 5b.
b. Damaged water supply hose or drain hose. Replace the damaged hose
c. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty rinse-aid dispenser coil.
b. Faulty Pressostat pipe
c. Faulty door micro-switch.
d. Faulty door micro-switch rod.
7.
THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT DRAIN THE WATER :-
a. Bent draining hose Check and stretch the hose. In case that there is
water inside the tub, take it off with a sponge. Start
on the appliance from the beginning (without dishes
and detergent inside), in order to see if the
appliance drains properly.
b. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Blocked object inside the drain pump.
b. Open circuit.

8.
THE APPLIANCE IS UNUSUALLY NOISY FROM THE START OF THE
PROGRAM:-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty pressure pump.

THE WATER SPRINKLER HAS NOT ENOUGH WATER PRESSURE:-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty pressure pump.
10.
THE APPLIANCE BECOMES NOISY (WHISTLE) BEFORE THE END OF THE
PROGRAM :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty rinse-aid dispenser.
b. Check the second pressure pump (for the models
which have second water sprinkler).
11.
THE WAHSING PROGRAM TERMINATES UNUSUALLY VERY FAST :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty temperature thermostat.

THE WATER DOES NOT BECOME WARM :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty heating element.
13.
THE APPLIANCE TURNS OFF THE LINE CIRCUIT BREAKER(CUTS OFF
THE LINE FUSE :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Damaged thermostat flange
b. Damaged heating element
c. Damaged door micro-switch
14.
THE APPLIANCE GETS WATER WITHOUT BEING IN OPERATION :-
a. REPAIR requirement
Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty water supply electrovalve.

THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT STOP TO OPERATE WHEN THE DOOR IS
OPEN :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty door micro-switch
b. Damaged spring on the door micro-switch rod
c. Calcars on the fitting point of door micro-switch
rod

THE APPLIANCE STARTS AGAIN WHEN THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN
TERMINATED :-

THE SALT INDICATOR LIGHTS ON WHILE THE SALT CONTAINER IS
FILLED UP :-

THE APPLIANCE SPENDS THE SALT OF THE SALT CONTAINER ,
UNUSUALLY FAST :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:

THERE IS NO POWER , THE APPLIANCE IS INACTIVE :-
a. There is not electrical supply from the
socket.
Check the socket. If it is out of order, call an
electrician.

b. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty timer – switch.
b. Faulty door micro-switch.
c. Broken door micro-switch rod.

RINSE AID FLOW DURING THE FILLING OF THE DISPENSER :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty rinse-aid dispenser.

THE RINSE AID DISPENSER REMAINS ALWAYS FULL :-
a. REPAIR requirement Possible malfunction:
a. Faulty rinse-aid dispenser.

THE APPLIANCE DRAINS THE WATER SIMULTANEOUSLY DURING
GETTING WATER :-
a. Normal operation for the first seconds of
the program in models with water softener
device.
Any model with water softener device, cleans up the
resin of its water softener device for the first ten
seconds of the program. It drains simultaneously
while getting water for these seconds.
b. The water drain hose is bent. Stretch the drain hose and start on the appliance
from the beginning.
c. There is vacuum in the drain hose
(siphon effect)
Keep the end of the hose higher than the level that it
was and operate the appliance for a complete
washing cycle(keeping the hose at the higher level).
If the problem does not appear again, then leave the
hose on the initial level.
d. REPAIR requirement. Possible malfunction:
a. Displacing of the drain hose curve.
b. Choked drain hose.
c. Blocked drain pump.
