The Ericsson – W20 – is the ideal solution for providing
broadband using mobile networks. It offers a highly cost
efficient and flexible solution utilizing deployed WCDMA
networks. With the W20 Fixed Wireless Terminal residential
and small office / home office users can be offered
high-speed data services.
Thanks to utilizing radio technology, broadband can be
provisioned to users that fixed line technologies cannot
address. This state-of-the-art WCDMA/HSDPA terminal
with high quality and performance supports the latest
deployed communication standards. The W20 offers data
capabilities comparable to fixed broadband offerings.

With the high-speed data connectivity for Internet access
with “Always connected” capability and home networking
support, the W20 is the definitive terminal for Mobile
Broadband.
The benefit of the Fixed Wireless Terminal is that it
provides wired or wireless connectivity options to the
user. Additionally, the Fixed Wireless Terminal enables the
possibility of simultaneous HSDPA data access for multiple
users. Thanks to the W20’s integrated WLAN access point,
WLAN enabled PC’s can be located at a distance from the
W20 thus giving the user local mobility.
The simplicity of the W20 enables the installation to be
carried out in a matter of minutes by the end user. Last
but not least, the built in software auto update functionality
makes sure that the W20 will have the latest software
installed without users having to manually perform software
upgrades.
