1.1 How to use this Manual
The manual includes the following sections.
1. Introduction gives a brief description of MINI-LINK High
Capacity and information on how to use this
manual.
2. Safety Instructions describes safety regulations and
requirements as well as safety information
used throughout the manual.
3. System Overview describes the function and design of the
indoor part of MINI-LINK High Capacity.
4. Preparation contains information on required tools, units
and accessories for the outdoor installation.
5. Indoor Installation contains job instructions for installation of the
AMM and of indoor accessories.
6. Indoor Cabling contains job instructions for indoor cabling.
7. Initial Settings contains the necessary initial settings for the
terminal.
8. Indoor Radio Cabling contains job instructions for the cabling
procedure between the radio unit and the
AMM.
9. Software Setup contains a description of the software setup
when the installation is completed.
10. Functional Test contains a functional test to verify the
installation.
11. Local Supervision
and Repair Handling
contains a description of the local supervision
interface and instructions on how to handle
faulty equipment.
Glossary contains important terms used in this
manual.
1.2 Target Group
This manual has been written for field technicians and supervisors who work
with the installation of MINI-LINK equipment on site.
The personnel must be authorized and have the appropriate technical training
and experience.
The field technician is expected to be experienced in radio and mobile
communications, and have a good understanding of technical English or any
other language in which this manual is available.
