1. Introduction
The Smart Security mobile PERS (mPERS) is an emergency signaling device with built-in fall detection
and two-way LTE cellular communications. mPERS is ideal for senior care, lone workers, and personal
safety.
Features include:
High quality two-way voice communication
Outdoor and indoor location
Fall detection
Panic button alert
LED and haptic status indication
Water resistant for showering, swimming, and outdoor use
Charging cradle and long-life battery
False alert cancellation
Supports automatic over-the-air software programming and configuration upgrade

2. Operating the mPERS
Press the mPERS button to get help.
2.1. Notifications
When you press the mPERS button or the mPERS detects a fall, the pendant sends an emergency
notification to the monitoring center. The monitoring center can request geolocation information
from the mPERS.
2.2. Supervision
The pendant is a supervised device. The pendant periodically transmits its status to the monitoring
center.

3. Charging the Battery
To charge the mPERS battery, place the mPERS in the charging cradle.
