Q1: How do I know whether the Orvibo smart socket is
configured successfully?
A1 : lf it is configured successfully then the backlight will be on
constantly (red or blue).
Q2: What can I do if the easy configure option fails?
A2:There are several reasons as below
1) lf your smart phone or tablet is Android, please make sure the
software version is 2.3 or above.
2) During configuration, the WiWo app will automatically locate
the name (SSID) of the wireless network, if the app cannot find
your SSID please check your smart phone and WiFi connection.
3) Please check if you have entered the WiFi password correctly.
4) Please check that your router can support wireless
I EEE802. 11bl gl n standard.
5) Please make sure you enter the correct WiFi network name
(ss rD ).
6) Please make sure your router security is WEP,WPA-PSK or
WPA2-PSK, we recommend WPA/WPA2.
7) Please make sure you have available lP addresses for the
router, if not you will need to disconnect other devices and try
again.
8) lf none of the above apply, then please retry configuring after
unplugging and plugging in the smart socket.
Q3: Why does the smart socket backlight slowly flash (red or blue)
after configuring?
A3: lease check as below:
1 ) Please ensure your router does not have any specific
setting, such as security protection, MAC address filtering or
requires user name and password for connection.
2) Wrong password
3) Router DHCP is closed.
4) The Router is preventing the smart socket connecting.
Q4: What is the difference between configure and search?
A4: Configure is only when the smart socket is connected to
WiFi network first time, allowing a smart socket to connect to the
WiFi network from your wireless router.Search is used when the
smart socket is already connected to a network, for adding new
sockets to your smart phone app (such as when family members
need to share sockets already configured) or if you delete a
socket by mistake and need to add it again.
