Die folgende Anleitung soll Ihnen helfen, Ihr ETHERMA Qua-

Gebrauch und die Wartung der Geräte. Bitte lesen Sie die in
dieser Anleitung aufgeführten Informationen daher sorgfältig

Zeitpunkt auf.

sungen nicht beachtet werden. Die Geräte dürfen nicht miss-

WARNHINWEISE
ALLGEMEINE INFORMATION
Dieses System wurde äußerst sorgfältig entworfen, um so ef-
fektiv wie möglich zu funktionieren. Es kann jedoch vorkom-
men, dass unter bestimmten Bedingungen, die fehlerfreie
Meldung beeinträchtigt ist. Der Betrieb jeder Art von Alarm-
systemen kann absichtlich verhindert werden oder aus folgen-
den Gründen fehlschlagen:
› Unvorschriftsmäßiger Einbau. Ein Sicherheitssystem muss
vorschriftsgemäß eingebaut werden, um den geeigneten
Schutz zu gewähren.
› Es ist sehr wichtig, dass das Sicherheitssystem regelmä-
ßig gewartet wird, um einen ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb zu
garantieren. Teile müssen aktualisiert oder ersetzt werden,
falls sie nicht den erwarteten Schutz bieten.
› Stromausfälle. eNEXHO-IN erfordert eine bestimmte Strom-
versorgung um exakt zu funktionieren. Falls das Gerät mit
Batteriebetrieb arbeitet, könnten Fehler auftreten. Bitte
überprüfen Sie den guten Zustand der Batterien und ob sie
richtig eingesetzt sind.
› Entladene Batterien. Die Lebenszeit einer Batterie hängt da-
von ab, wo das Gerät steht und wie oft es gebraucht wird.
Umweltbedingte Veränderungen, wie hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit,
hohe oder tiefe Temperaturen, sowie plötzliche Temperatur-
veränderungen können die Lebenszeit der Batterie verkür-
zen. Regelmäßige Kontrolle und Wartung garantieren einen
optimalen Betrieb des Geräts.
› Geräte mit Geräusch-Alarm könnten von hörgeschädigten
Personen nicht gehört werden.
› Telefonleitung. Die Telefonleitung könnte besetzt sein oder
kurzfristig nicht funktionieren. Ein Eindringling könnte auch
versuchen, das Telefon durch rafnierte Methoden stillzule-
gen. Diese Anwendung ist sehr schwierig herauszunden.
› Zu wenig Zeit. Unter bestimmten Umständen, selbst wenn
das Gerät einwandfrei funktioniert, kann es vorkommen,
dass entsprechende Maßnahmen nicht rechtzeitig greifen,
um die Bewohner oder deren Besitz rechtzeitig zu schützen.
› Fehlfunktion einer Komponente. Trotz höchstem Bemühen,
ein äußerst zuverlässiges System zu produzieren, könnte
trotzdem ein Fehler auf Grund der Fehlfunktion einer Kom-
ponente auftreten.
› Mangelhafte Überprüfungen. Die meisten Fehlfunktionen
eines Systems könnten durch regelmäßige Überprüfun-
gen und Wartung verhindert werden. Das gesamte System
sollte wöchentlich getestet werden und sofort nach jedem
Einbruch oder Einbruchsversuch, Feuer, Sturm, Erdbeben,
Unfall oder nach Bauarbeiten.
› Schutz und Versicherung. Ein Alarmsystem ist trotz seiner
Vorteile kein Ersatz für eine Haus- oder Lebensversiche-
rung. Ein Alarmsystem befreit den Besitzer nicht davon, für
Notfälle vorzubeugen, Schutzmaßnahmen zu setzen und so
den Schaden zu minimieren.
Der eNEXHO-IN Überutungsmelder wurde als Teil einer
Alarmanlage entwickelt, um Sie rechtzeitig durch eine Früh-
warnung auf eine mögliche Überschwemmung in Ihrem Haus
zu informieren.
Sobald Sie den Überutungsmelder in Ihr eNEXHO System
konguriert haben, wird das Gerät eine Warnmeldung senden,
falls der Wasserstand 2 mm erreicht.

AUFSTELLUNG UND EINRICHTUNG
WIE SETZT MAN DEN eNEXHO-IN ÜBERFLUTUNGSMELDER ZURÜCK?
Installation mit Batteriebetrieb
Verwenden Sie einen Schraubenzieher, um die 3 Schrauben
am Rand des Melders loszuschrauben und entfernen Sie die
Abdeckung.
Setzen Sie die AAA Batterien entsprechend der Pol Markierung
in das Fach.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerät in das System zu installieren,
bevor Sie die Schrauben wieder anziehen.
Um sicher zu sein, dass das Gerät vollkommen wasserdicht
ist, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob alle Dichtungen richtig positioniert
sind.
Sobald das Gerät in das Hausautomatisierungssystem konguriert wurde, raten wir Ihnen, eine hörbare Warnung für Innen-
räume, verbunden mit dem eNEXHO-CR Power Control Modul, zu installieren. Bitte lesen Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung des
eNEXHO-NT Internet Moduls wie man den Sicherheitsbereich konguriert, so dass ein hörbarer Alarm bei Meldung aktiviert
wird.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Überutungsmelder
gemeinsam mit dem eNEXHO-NT konguriert wird,
damit er im System installiert ist und so von einem dieser
Module kontrolliert werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck lesen
Sie bitte in der Bedienungsanleitung des eNEXHO-NT In-
ternet Moduls nach.
Wenn Sie den eNEXHO-IN Überutungsmelder in
ein eNEXHO Hausautomatisierungssystem instal-
liert haben und er einmal zurückgesetzt wurde, wird der
Melder bei möglichen Gefahren keinen Warnalarm senden,
bis Sie ihn wieder zurück konguriert haben. Zum Rückkon-
gurieren lesen Sie bitte in der Bedienungsanleitung des
eNEXHO-NT Internet Moduls und folgen Sie der Anweisung
nach den angegeben Schritten: Wie installiert man den ent-
sprechenden Melder im Hausautomatisierungssystem.
Um den eNEXHO-IN Überutungsmelder zurückzusetzen,
drücken Sie den Installationsknopf. Es erscheint das grüne
Licht auf der Schaltplatte. Warten Sie, bis das Anzeigelicht zu
blinken beginnt und drücken Sie dann noch einmal den Knopf.
Das Licht beginnt langsamer zu blinken und bleibt für einige
Sekunden bestehen. Wenn das Licht erlischt, ist die Grundein-
stellung abgeschlossen.
WO SOLLTE DER eNEXHO-IN ÜBERFLUTUNGSMELDER INSTALLIERT WERDEN?
Ein Überutungsmelder muss am Boden waagrecht platziert werden. Entweder in einem Raum oder in der Nähe von Geräten, wie
Geschirrspülern oder Waschmaschinen, aus denen eventuell Wasser austreten könnte.

SPECIFICATIONS
WARNING
This system has been carefully designed to be as effective
as possible. There are some occasions, however, on which it
cannot provide accurate detection. The operation of any kind
of alarm system can be intentionally impeded or fail for other
reasons, such as the following:
› Improper installation. A security system must be properly in-
stalled to provide appropriate protection.
› It is very important that the security system is serviced peri-
odically to ensure that it is in proper working order and parts
must be updated or replaced if they are not providing the ex-
pected protection.
› Power cuts. NEXHO-IN requires an appropriate energy sup-
ply for proper operation. If the device is working on batteries,
it is possible that they will fail. Even if the batteries do not
fail, please make sure that they are in good condition and are
installed properly.
› Discharged batteries. The lifetime of a battery depends on
the environment in which it is found and on the number of
activations of the device. Environmental conditions such as
excessive humidity, high or low temperatures or abrupt tem-
perature changes can reduce the lifetime of the battery. Re-
gular inspections and maintenance will keep the system in
good operational condition.
› Sound alarm devices may not be heard by hearing-impaired
people.
› Phone line. The phone line could be out of order or busy for
a while. An intruder may also attempt to sabotage it by me-
ans of sophisticated methods. This practice is very difcult
to detect.
› Insufcient time. In some circumstances, even if the device
is working properly, it is possible that response measures
are not taken in time to protect the occupants or their be-
longings.
› Malfunction of a component. Despite utmost efforts to pro-
duce the most reliable system possible, it could fail on the
grounds of the malfunction of a component.
› Inadequate inspections. Most of the problems which cause
malfunctions in a system can be detected by performing re-
gular checks and maintenance. The whole system should be
tested on a weekly basis and immediately after any intrusion
or intrusion attempt, re, storm, earthquake, accident or any
kind of building works.
› Security and insurance. Despite all its advantages, an alarm
system is not a substitute for home or life insurance. An
alarm system does not exempt the user from taking precau-
tions regarding prevention and minimisation of damages in
an emergency situation.

The following instructions will help you, to use your ETHERMA
quality product as effective as possible. They contain important
information about safety, installation, use and maintenance of
the devices. Please read the information in this instruction
carefully and keep them for feedback at a later time on.
The eNEXHO-IN ood detector has been designed to be part of
an alarm installation that will provide you with an early warning
of any possible ood in your home.
Once congured in a eNEXHO system, if the water level reaches
two millimeters, the device will send a warning alert to the sys-
tem.

INSTALLATION AND SETUP
HOW DO I RESET A eNEXHO-IN FLOOD DETECTOR?
Installation running on batteries
Using a screwdriver, remove the upper casing by unscrewing
the three screws located around the edge of the detector.
Place the AAA batteries in the compartment as indicated by the
polarity markings.
For your convenience, it is advisable to install the device in the
system before xing the screws in position..
To ensure that the device is completely watertight, please
check that all gaskets are positioned correctly.
Once the device has been congured in the home-automation system, it is advisable to install an audible warning alarm for
interior spaces connected to a eNEXHO-CR power-control module. Please consult the user manual of the eNEXHO-NT internet
module to learn how to congure the security mode so that it activates the audible warning alarm in case of detection.
Please note that the ood detector must be congu-
red together with the eNEXHO-NT internet control
module so that the detector is installed in the system and
can be controlled from one of these control units. For that
purpose, consult the section on how to install ood detec-
tors in your automation network in the user manual of the
eNEXHO-NT internet module.
If you have installed the eNEXHO-IN ood detector
in a eNEXHO home-automation installation, once it
has been reset, the detector will not send warning alerts
for possible detections until you have re-congured it. To
re-congure it, please refer to the manual of the eNEXHO-
NT internet module and follow the steps described in the
section on how to install the corresponding detector in the
home-automation network.
In order to reset the eNEXHO-IN ood detector, press the ins-
tallation button. The green indicator light on the circuit board
will come on. Wait until the indicator light starts to ash and,
at that point, press the button again. The light will start to ash
more slowly and will stay on for a few more seconds. When the
light goes off, the reset process is completed.
WArning: Electrical and electronic appliances often contain prescious materials. But they can also contain harmful substances that were
necessary for their function and safety. They can harm the environment if disposed or mishandled. Please help to protect our environment!
Therefore do not dispose of this device in the residual waste. Dispose of this unit in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of the packaging
materials, replacement parts or equipment parts properly.

experience a water leak, such as dishwashers or washing machines.
