Der Hersteller haftet nicht, wenn die nachstehenden Anwei-
sungen nicht beachtet werden. Die Geräte dürfen nicht miss-
bräuchlich, d.h. entgegen der vorgesehenen Verwendung, be-
nutzt werden.

Dieses System wurde sorgfältig entwickelt, um so effektiv
wie möglich zu arbeiten. Dennoch kann es unter Umständen
den Schutz versagen. Es ist möglich, dass Alarmsysteme um-
gangen werden oder dass sie aus einem anderen Grund nicht
funktionieren, u. a.:
› Ein Sicherheitssystem muss korrekt installiert sein, um an-
gemessenen Schutz zu ermöglichen. Das Gerät sollte auch
nicht an Orten installiert werden, wo es Feuchtigkeit oder
Spritzwasser ausgesetzt ist. Jede Installation sollte noch
einmal kontrolliert werden, um sicherzustellen, dass alle
Überwachungsbereiche hinreichend abgedeckt sind.
› Es ist sehr wichtig, dass das Sicherheitssystem regelmä-
ßig gewartet wird. Auf diese Weise kann sichergestellt wer-
den, dass es leistungsfähig bleibt und Teile ggf. aktualisiert
oder ersetzt werden, wenn sie nicht mehr den gewünschten
Schutz gewährleisten.
› Fehler in der Stromzufuhr. Der eNEXHO-PR Präsenzmelder
benötigt für den problemlosen Betrieb eine passende Span-
nungsversorgung. Bei Batteriebetrieb kann es sein, dass die
Batterien nicht ordnungsgemäß arbeiten. Selbst, wenn die
Batterien korrekt funktionieren, müssen sie dennoch in gu-
tem Zustand und richtig eingelegt sein. Im Falle einer exter-
nen Spannungsversorgung führt jede noch so kurze Span-
nungsunterbrechung zum Funktionsausfall des Gerätes.
› Häug werden die Spannungsunterbrechungen, egal wel-
cher Dauer, von Spannungsschwankungen begleitet, die
das Gerät beschädigen können. Überprüfen Sie nach einer
Spannungsunterbrechung sofort das gesamte System, um
sicherzustellen, dass es weiter fehlerfrei funktioniert.
› Die Lebensdauer einer Batterie hängt von ihrer Umgebung
und der Anzahl der Betriebsstunden ab. Umweltbedingun-
gen wie übermäßige Feuchtigkeit, hohe oder niedrige Tem-
peraturen oder plötzliche Temperaturschwankungen kön-
nen die Lebensdauer einer Batterie verkürzen. Kontrollen
und regelmäßige Wartung halten das System in einem guten
Betriebszustand.
› Geräte mit Alarmton könnten von Personen mit Hörproble-
men nicht wahrgenommen werden.
› Die Telefonleitung kann gestört oder zeitweilig besetzt sein.
Ein Einbrecher könnte sie auch mit noch rafnierteren Mit-
teln blockieren. Diese wären nur sehr schwer festzustellen.
› Unter gewissen Umständen ist es möglich, dass Schaden
an Bewohnern oder Eigentum entsteht, obwohl das System
korrekt funktioniert, weil nicht rechtzeitig auf den Alarm re-
agiert werden kann.
› Obwohl alles dafür getan wurde, das System so zuverlässig
wie möglich zu machen, kann es durch einen Fehler in einem
Bauteil zu einem Versagen kommen.
› Die meisten Probleme, durch welche Alarmsysteme ver-
sagen, können durch Kontrollen und regelmäßige Wartung
festgestellt werden. Das ganze System sollte wöchentlich
bzw. sofort nach einem Einbruch, einem Einbruchsversuch,
einem Brand, einem Unwetter, Erdbeben, Unfall oder jeder
Art von Bautätigkeit überprüft werden.
› Trotz seiner Efzienz ist ein Alarmsystem kein Ersatz für
eine Hausrats- oder Lebensversicherung. Ein Alarmsystem
befreit auch nicht davon, Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zur Vermei-
dung oder Minimierung von Schäden in einer Notfallsituation
zu ergreifen.

Bei der Installation eines eNEXHO-PR Präsenzmelders sollten
Bereiche mit folgenden oder ähnlichen Gegebenheiten vermie-
den werden:
› Orte, an denen das Gerät harten Schlägen oder Vibrationen
ausgesetzt ist.
› Orte mit Elementen, die den Sichtbereich des Gerätes ver-
sperren (z. B. Glasscheiben).
› Orte, an denen das Gerät der direkten Sonneneinstrahlung
ausgesetzt ist.
› Orte, an denen das Gerät Wind oder der direkten Zugluft ei-
ner Heizung oder Klimaanlage ausgesetzt ist.
› Orte mit rasch wechselnden Wetterbedingungen.
Der Erfassungsbereich des Gerätes ist in der nachfolgenden
Abbildung erkennbar:
Drücken Sie die seitlichen Entriegelungsknöpfe und entfernen
Sie die vordere Abdeckung. Legen Sie die Batterien der Bauart
"AAA" in die dafür vorgesehenen Fächer ein. Beachten Sie da-
bei die richtige Polung.
Wenn Sie den Präsenzmelder in einer Ecke aufbauen möchten,
halten Sie die Eckhalterung, welche dem Gerät beiliegt, an den
gewünschten Ort an der Wand. Markieren Sie mit einem Stift
an der Wand die Punkte, an denen die Befestigungsschrauben
angebracht werden sollen.
Entfernen Sie die Eckhalterung einen Moment lang und befes-
tigen Sie an den gekennzeichneten Stellen Spreizdübel. Führen
Sie die Schrauben mit Hilfe eines Schraubendrehers teilweise
in die Spreizdübel ein. An den Aussparungen, die Ihnen vorher
zur Markierung dienten, lässt sich die Eckhalterung nun an die
Wand hängen. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben danach vollständig an,
sodass die Eckhalterung fest an der Wand sitzt. Führen Sie die
Bolzen der Halterung zuletzt durch die eingestanzten Löcher
im hinteren Teil des eNEXHO-PR-Präsenzmelders ein.
Ist der eNEXHO-PR Präsenzmelder in ein eNEXHO-
Hausautomationssystem eingebunden, wird er erst
betriebsbereit, wenn er innerhalb des Systems konguriert
wird. Folgen Sie dazu den Schritten, die in den Bedienungs-
anleitungen des Internet-Moduls eNEXHO-NT im Abschnitt
"Wie sollte ein Melder im Hausautomationssystem instal-
liert werden?" beschrieben sind.
Ist die Einrichtung der Geräte im Hausautomationssystem
abgeschlossen, ist im Haus ferner die Installation eines
akustischen Alarms ratsam, welches mit einem eNEXHO-
CR Modul verbunden ist. Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitun-
gen des Internet-Moduls eNEXHO-NT, um den Sicherheits-
modus des Systems so einzustellen, dass im Alarmfall der
akustische Alarm ausgelöst wird.
WO SOLLTE DER eNEXHO-PR PRÄSENZMELDER INSTALLIERT WERDEN?
INSTALLATION MIT BATTERIE
Drücken Sie die seitlichen Entriegelungsknöpfe und entfernen
Sie die vordere Abdeckung.
Wenn Sie den Präsenzmelder in einer Ecke aufbauen möchten,
halten Sie die Eckhalterung, welche dem Gerät beiliegt, an den
gewünschten Ort an der Wand. Markieren Sie mit einem Stift
an der Wand die Punkte, an denen die Befestigungsschrauben
eingedreht werden sollen.
Entfernen Sie die Eckhalterung einen Moment lang und befes-
tigen Sie an den gekennzeichneten Stellen Spreizdübel. Führen
Sie die Schrauben mit Hilfe eines Schraubendrehers teilweise
in die Spreizdübel ein. An den Aussparungen, die Ihnen vorher
zur Markierung dienten, lässt sich die Eckhalterung nun an die
Wand hängen. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben danach vollständig an,
sodass die Eckhalterung fest an der Wand sitzt.
Fädeln Sie die Kabel der externen Energiequelle durch die am
Präsenzmelder vorgesehene Öffnung. Führen Sie dann die
Bolzen der Halterung durch die eingestanzten Löcher im hin-
teren Teil des eNEXHO-PR Präsenzmelders ein. Schließen Sie
die Stromversorgungskabel zum Schluss so in den Buchsen
an, wie in der folgenden Abbildung gezeigt.
Ist der eNEXHO-PR Präsenzmelder in ein eNEXHO-
Hausautomationssystem eingebunden, wird er erst
betriebsbereit, wenn er innerhalb des Systems konguriert
wird. Folgen Sie dazu den Schritten, die in den Bedienungs-
anleitungen des Internet-Moduls eNEXHO-NT im Abschnitt
"Wie sollte ein Präsenzmelder im Hausautomationssystem
installiert werden?" beschrieben sind.

Ist die Einrichtung der Geräte im Hausautomationssystem
abgeschlossen, ist im Haus ferner die Installation eines
akustischen Alarmierungsgeräts ratsam, welches mit ei-
nem eNEXHO-CR Modul verbunden ist. Lesen Sie die Be-
dienungsanleitungen des Internet-Moduls eNEXHO-NT, um
den Sicherheitsmodus des Systems so einzustellen, dass im
Alarmfall der akustische Alarm ausgelöst wird.
Drücken Sie einmal auf die Reset-Taste, um den eNEXHO-
PR Präsenzmelder auf Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen.
Ein grünes Licht erscheint auf der Platine. Warten Sie, bis es
anfängt zu blinken. Drücken Sie die Reset-Taste erneut. Das
Blinken sollte nun langsamer werden und die Signal-LED dann
einige Sekunden lang konstant leuchten. Wenn das Licht er-
löscht, ist der Reset-Vorgang abgeschlossen.
WIE WIRD BEIM eNEXHO-PR PRÄSENZMELDER EIN RESET DURCHGEFÜHRT?
Wenn der Präsenzmelder in einem eNEXHO-Haus-
automationssystem konguriert ist, werden auch
diese Einstellungen bei einem Reset gelöscht und das Gerät
sendet solange keine Warnungen mehr an das System, bis
es neu konguriert wird. Zu diesem Zweck lesen Sie den Ab-
schnitt über die Installation des entsprechenden Melders in
der Bedienungsanleitung des Internet-Moduls eNEXHO-NT.

information about safety, installation, use and maintenance of
the devices. Please read the information in this instruction

This system has been carefully designed to be as effective
as possible. There are some occasions, however, on which it
cannot provide accurate detection. The operation of any kind
of alarm system can be intentionally impeded or fail for other
reasons, such as the following:
› Improper installation. A security system must be properly in-
stalled to provide appropriate protection. This device should
not be placed in locations where it could be exposed to hu-
midity or liquid from water sprinklers. Each installation must
be evaluated to ensure that all areas are covered.
› It is important that the security system is serviced periodi-
cally to ensure that it is in proper working order and parts
must be updated or replaced if they are not providing the ex-
pected protection.
› Power cuts. eNEXHO-PR requires an appropriate energy
supply for proper operation. If the device is working on bat-
teries, it is possible that they will fail. Even if the batteries do
not fail, please make sure that they are in good condition and
are installed properly. If the device is running on an external
power supply, any outage, even of short duration, will inter-
rupt the operation during the power cut.
› Power cuts of any duration are often accompanied by voltage
uctuations which can damage the device. Following a power
outage, please perform a complete check of the system to
ensure that it is working properly.
› Discharged batteries. The lifetime of a battery depends on
the environment in which it is found and on the number of
activations of the device. Environmental conditions such as
excessive humidity, high or low temperatures or abrupt tem-
perature changes can reduce the lifetime of the battery. Re-
gular inspections and maintenance will keep the system in
good operational condition.
› Sound alarm devices may not be heard by hearing-impaired
people.
› Phone line. The phone line could be out of order or busy for
a while. An intruder may also attempt to sabotage it by me-
ans of sophisticated methods. This practice is very difcult
to detect.
› Insufcient time. In some circumstances, even if the device
is working properly, it is possible that response measures
are not taken in time to protect the occupants or their be-
longings.
› Malfunction of a component. Despite utmost efforts to pro-
duce the most reliable system possible, it could fail on the
grounds of the malfunction of a component.
› Inadequate inspections. Most of the problems which cause
malfunctions in a system can be detected by performing re-
gular checks and maintenance. The whole system should be
tested on a weekly basis and immediately after any intrusion
or intrusion attempt, re, storm, earthquake, accident or any
kind of building works.
› Security and insurance. Despite all its advantages, an alarm
system is not a substitute for home or life insurance. An
alarm system does not exempt the user from taking precau-
tions regarding prevention and minimisation of damages in
an emergency situation.
Assembly and operating instructions
› Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future consultation. eNEXHO range equipment must be installed
by an accredited, qualied electrician and must observe Low Voltage Regulations. The installation as a whole should meet the
provisions of aforesaid regulation. Any claim presented will be deemed invalid if the prevailing regulations have not been met.

When installing a eNEXHO-PR presence detector, try to avoid
installing the device in areas subjected to the following (or si-
milar) conditions:
› Locations where the device could be exposed to impacts or
vibrations.
› Locations with elements which could obstruct the eld of
view of the sensor (for example, glass).
› Locations where the device is exposed to direct sunlight.
› Locations where the device is exposed to wind or to draughts
coming from a heating or air conditioning element.
› Environments subject to rapid changes in the atmosphere.
The detection range is depicted in the following diagram:
Remove the front casing by pressing the lateral release but-
tons. Place the AAA batteries in the compartment as indicated
by the polarity markings.
In order to mount the detector in a corner, place the corner
mounting bracket provided with the equipment in the desired
location. Use a pencil to mark the location of the xing screw
holes.
Remove the bracket momentarily and insert the wall plugs in
the marked locations. Partially insert the screws into the wall
plugs using a screwdriver and place the bracket into the cor-
ner again. Insert the screws into the holes previously used as a
marker. Drive the screws fully into the bracket until it is rmly
xed. Insert the bracket bolts in the pre-die cut holes that you
will nd at the back of the eNEXHO-PR sensor.
Please note that the presence detector must be con-
gured together with the eNEXHO-NT internet con-
trol module so that the detector is installed in the system
and can be controlled from one of these control units. For
that purpose, consult the section on how to install presence
detectors in your automation network in the user manual of
the eNEXHO-NT internet module.
Once the device has been congured in the home-auto-
mation system, it is advisable to install an audible warning
alarm for interior spaces connected to a eNEXHO-CR pow-
er-control module. Please consult the user manual of the
eNEXHO-NT internet module to learn how to congure the
security mode so that it activates the audible warning alarm
in case of detection.
WHERE SHOULD I INSTALL A eNEXHO-PR PRESENCE SENSOR?
INSTALLATION RUNNING ON BATTERIES
Remove the frontal housing by pressing the lateral release but-
tons.
In order to mount the detector in a corner, place the corner
mounting bracket provided with the equipment in the desired
location. Use a pencil to mark the location of the xing screw
holes.
Remove the bracket momentarily and insert the wall plugs in
the marked locations. Partially insert the screws into the wall
plugs using a screwdriver and place the bracket into the cor-
ner again. Insert the screws into the holes previously used as a
marker. Drive the screws fully into the bracket until it is rmly
xed. Insert the bracket bolts in the pre-die cut holes that you
will nd at the back of the eNEXHO-PR sensor.
Guide the cables from the external power supply through the
hole of the device designed for this purpose and place the bolts
of the corner bracket in the pre-die cut holes at the rear part
of the detector. Plug the power cables into the corresponding
terminals as indicated in the following image:
Please note that the presence detector must be con-
gured together with the eNEXHO-NT internet con-
trol module so that the detector is installed in the system
and can be controlled from one of these control units. For
that purpose, consult the section on how to install presence
detectors in your automation network in the user manual of
the eNEXHO-NT internet module.

Once the devices have been congured in the eNEXHO home-
automation system, it is advisable to install an audible war-
ning alarm for interior spaces connected to a eNEXHO-CR
power-control module. Please consult the user manual of
the eNEXHO-NT internet module to learn how to congure
the security mode so that it activates the audible warning
alarm in case of detection.
In order to reset the eNEXHO-PR presence detector, press the
installation button once. The green indicator light on the circuit
board will come on. Wait until the indicator light starts to ash
and, at that point, press the button again. The light will start
to ash more slowly and will stay on for a few more seconds.
When the light goes off, the reset process is completed.
HOW DO I RESET A eNEXHO-PR PRESENCE DETECTOR
If you have installed the eNEXHO-PR presence de-
tector in a eNEXHO home-automation installation,
once it has been reset, the detector will not send warning
alerts until you have re-congured it. To re-congure it, ple-
ase refer to the manual of the eNEXHO-NT internet modu-
le and follow the steps described in the section on how to
install the corresponding detector in the home-automation
network.
