Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package

Installation
Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture. Determine the method for mounting the fixture before drilling, based on
the type of ceiling.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. Either remove the
fuse or turn off the circuit breaker before removing an existing light fixture or installing the new one.
1 Removing the lens cover
□Remove the lens cover (A) by opening the 10 stainless steel clips on both sides of the fixture body (B).

2 Installing the cord grip
□Remove the nut from the end of the cord grip (EE)
and insert the threaded end into the knock out
hole on the end of the fixture body (B).

3 Feeding the wires
□Feed the wires from the electrical source through the cord
grip (EE) and into the fixture body (B).
□Tighten the nut onto the cord grip (EE) to secure the wires.
4 Making the electrical
connections
□Connect the hot and neutral (black and
white) wires from the electrical source
to the same color wires from the LED
driver box.
□Connect the green ground wire from
the electrical source to the green/
yellow ground wire from the fixture
body (B).
□If a 0-10V dimming circuit is available,
connect the purple and gray wires
from the electrical source to the same
color wires from the LED driver box.
□If 0-10V dimming is not desired, wrap
the ends of the purple and gray wires
with electrical tape to cover the wires.
□Cover each wire connection with a
wire connector (FF) and electrical tape
(not included).

5 Attaching the lens cover
□Place the lens cover (A) onto the fixture body (B).
□Close the 10 stainless steel clips from the fixture body (B) onto the lens cover (A) to create a vapor tight seal.

Suspension Mounting
NOTE: Separate mounting hardware (not included) not shown to actual size.
1 Preparing to mount the fixture
□Drill two 1/16 in. diameter holes 33 1/2 inches apart in
the ceiling to accommodate hook screws (not included).
□Install the hook screws into the mounting surface,
making sure to fasten the combo wood-machine end into
the metal hook.
□Tighten the hook screws (not included) into the studs.
2 Installing the bracket and clip for
hanging
□Snap the U bracket (CC) onto the back of the fixture
body (B) near one end.
□Insert the ends of the V clip (DD) into the openings in the
U bracket (CC).
□Repeat the installation process for the U bracket (CC) and
V clip (DD) on the other end of the fixture body (B).
3 Hanging the fixture
□Hook the V clip (DD) on each end of the fixture to the metal hooks installed in the ceiling.
NOTE: Product should be suspended using metal chain or hooks with weight bearing capacity exceeding 11 lbs (5 KG).
NOTE: Eye hooks (not included) or toggle bolts (not
included) can be used as alternate methods of attaching
the fixture to the ceiling. A

4 Attaching the light to chain
□If using chains to suspend the fixture from the ceiling, attach an S
hook (HH) to the bottom of the mounting chain (GG) and then to the V
clip (DD) near the end of the fixture body (B). Repeat this step on the
other side of the fixture.
□Hang the fixture body (B) by placing one chain over each hook (not
included) that has been installed on the ceiling.
□Adjust chains to level light.
NOTE: Product should be suspended using metal chain or cable and
hooks with weight bearing capacity exceeding 11 lbs (5 KG).
NOTE: If using eye hooks in the ceiling instead, attach the top of the
chain with additional S hooks (HH).
5 Activating the fixture
□Restore the power supply to turn on the light.
Surface Mounting
With power disconnected to the electrical box, remove the existing fixture. Make a sketch of how the current fixture is wired (by wire color
or mark the wires with masking tape and a pencil so you will know how to properly reconnect the wires to the new LED light fixture.

1 Installing the U brackets
□Hold the U brackets (CC) up to the mounting surface to determine the
mounting position.
NOTE: The U brackets (CC) should be positioned 33 1/2 inches
apart.
□Mark the screw positions for the U brackets (CC) on the mounting
surface.
□Drill a 1/8 in. pilot hole into the screw locations marked on the ceiling.
You can also use an awl or nail to dimple the screw holes.
□Install a drywall anchor (BB) in each drilled mounting hole.
□Insert two mounting screws (AA) through the U bracket (CC) and into
the drywall anchors (BB) installed in the mounting surface.
□Tighten each mounting screw (AA) to secure the U bracket (CC) to the mounting surface.
□Repeat the installation for the second U bracket (CC).

2 Completing the installation
□Snap the fixture body (B) into the U brackets (CC) installed on the mounting surface.
□Restore the power supply to turn on the light.

Linking Fixtures
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect power to the vapor tight light before linking additional fixtures.
WARNING: Provide power to the fixtures only after all linking connections have been made.
□Multiple vapor tight lights can be connected, up to a maximum of 7 fixtures. Only the first light fixture needs to be direct wired to an
electrical box.
□Use a flathead screwdriver to remove a knock out hole on the end of the fixture body (B).
□Connect additional black, white, green, purple, and gray wires to those from the power source and the electrical box on the first
fixture.
□Feed the wires into a connector plug or through the knock out hole on the end of the fixture body (B), depending on the wiring
method preferred by the installer.
NOTE: If feeding the wires through the knock out hole, an additional cord grip (not included) will be required.

Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: Before attempting to clean the fixture, disconnect the power to the fixture by turning the breaker off or removing the fuse from
the fuse box.
□Clean the fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
□Do not use cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.
□Do not use liquid cleaner on the LEDs, LED driver, or wiring inside the light fixture.
Troubleshooting
WARNING: Before doing any work on the fixture, disconnect power to the light fixture.
Minor problems often can be fixed without the help of an electrician.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The fixture will not light. The power is off. Ensure the power supply is on.
The circuit breaker is off. Ensure the circuit breaker is in the on position.
There is a bad connection. Check to ensure proper wire connections are made.
Contact a qualified electrician.
There is a defective switch. Contact a qualified electrician.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker
trips when the light is turned on. The wires are crossed or the power wire is grounding out. Check the wire connections.

PLANIFICATION DE L’INSTALLATION
Avant de commencer à assembler ou installer l’article, assurez-vous d’avoir toutes les pièces. Comparez le contenu de l’emballage avec la
nomenclature. S’il y a des pièces manquantes ou endommagées, ne tentez pas d’assembler, d’installer, ni d’utiliser l’article. Communiquez

Installation
Choisissez un endroit adéquat pouvant supporter le poids de la lampe. Déterminez la méthode de montage en fonction du type de plafond
avant de percer des trous.
AVERTISSEMENT : RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE. Assurez-vous d’avoir coupé le courant aux fils que vous toucherez. Enlevez le fusible ou
déclenchez le disjoncteur du circuit avant d’enlever le luminaire existant ou d’en installer un nouveau.
1 Enlever le diffuseur du luminaire
□Enlevez le diffuseur (A) en ouvrant les 10 pinces en acier inoxydables sur les côtés du boîtier du luminaire (B).

2 Installation de la bride de cordon
□Enlevez l’écrou de la bride de cordon (EE) et insérez
l’embout fileté dans le trou de pastille à l’extrémité du
boîtier du luminaire (B).

3 Acheminer les fils
□Acheminez les fils de la source électrique à travers la bride
de cordon (EE) puis dans le boîtier du luminaire (B).
□Serrez l’écrou de la bride de cordon (EE) pour retenir les fils.
4 Effectuer les
connexions
□Connectez les fils de tension et
neutre (noir et blanc) de la source
électrique aux fils de même couleur
du transformateur DEL.
□Connectez le fil vert de la source
électrique au fil de terre verre/jaune
du boîtier du luminaire (B).
□Si un circuit d’intensité variable
0-10 V est disponible, connectez
les fils violet et gris de la source
électrique aux fils de même couleur
du transformateur DEL.
□Si on ne veut pas l’intensité variable,
enveloppez le bout des fils violet et
gris avec un rubant isolant.
□Posez un serre-fils (FF) sur chaque
connexion et un ruban isolant (non
inclus).

5 Attacher le diffuseur du luminaire
□Placez le diffuseur (A) sur le boîtier du luminaire (B).
□Enclenchez les 10 pinces en acier inoxydable du boîtier du luminaire (B) sur le diffuseur (A) afin de créer un
joint étanche à la vapeur.

Montage en suspension
NOTE : La quincaillerie de montage séparée (non incluse) n’est pas illustrée à sa grandeur réelle.
1 Préparer le luminaire pour le
montage
□Percez deux trous de 2 mm de diamètre dans le plafond,
à une distance de 84 cm l’un de l’eautre, pour les vis à
crochet (non incluses).
□Posez les vis à crochet sur la surface de montage, vous
assurant d’attacher l’extrémité combinée bois-métal au
crochet métallique.
□Serrez les vis à crochet (non incluses) dans les poutres.
2 Installer les supports et pinces pour
la suspension
□Enclenchez le support en U (CC) au dos du boîtier du
luminaire (B), près d’une extrémité.
□Introduisez les extrémités de la pince en V (DD) dans les
ouvertures du support en U (CC).
□Installez un support en U (CC) et une pince en V (DD) de la
même façon, à l’autre extrémité du boîtier du luminaire (B).
3 Suspendre le luminaire
□Accrochez les pines en V (DD) de chaque extrémité du luminaire aux crochets métalliques installés dans le plafond.
NOTE : Le produit devrait être suspendu à l’aide de chaînes ou de crochets métalliques pouvant supporter un poids supérieur
à 5 kg (11 lb).
NOTE : On peut aussi utiliser des crochets à oeillet (non
inclus) ou des boulons à ailettes (non inclus) comme autre
moyen de suspendre le luminaire au plafond.

4 Fixer le luminaire aux chaînes
□Si vous suspendez le luminaire au plafond avec des chaînes, attachez un
crochet en S (HH) au bout de la chaîne (CC) puis à la pince en V (DD) près
de l’extrémité du boîtier du luminaire (B). Répétez pour l’autre côté.
□Suspendez le boîtier du luminaire (B) en plaçant une chaîne sur chaque
crochet (non inclus) installé dans le plafond.
□Ajustez les chaînes pour mettre le luminaire au niveau.
NOTE : Le produit devrait être suspendu à l’aide de chaînes ou de
câbles métalliques pouvant supporter un poids supérieur à 5 kg (11 lb).
NOTE : Si vous utilisez des crochets à oeillet, posez un autre crochet
en S (HH) dans le haut de chaque chaîne.
5 Mettre le luminaire sous tension
□Rétablissez le courant pour allumer le luminaire.
Montage en surface
Une fois le courant coupé à la boîte électrique, enlevez le luminaire existant. Faites une esquisse du câblage du luminaire existant (par
couleur de fil) ou identifiez les fils avec un papier-cache et un crayon; vous saurez ainsi comment reconnecter les fils correctement au
nouveau luminaire à DEL.
1 Installer les supports en U
□Tenez les supports en U (CC) contre la surface de montage pour en
établir la position.
NOTE : Les supports en U (CC) devraient être à une distance de 84
cm l’un de l’autre.
□Marquez la position des vis des supports en U (CC) sur la surface de montage.
□Percez des trous pilote de 3 mm au point marqué pour les vis sur le plafond.
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser un clou ou un poinçon pour pointer les trous de vis.
□Posez un ancrage pour placoplâtre (BB) dans chaque trou de montage percé.
□Posez deux vis de montage (AA) dans le support en U (CC) pous dans les ancrage pour placoplâtre (BB) installés dans la surface de
montage.
□Serrez chaque vis de montage (AA) pour fixer le support en U (CC) contre la surface de montage.
□Procédez de même pour l’autre support en U (CC).
