1. General description
The MS650 brick cutter is a multi-functional machine used for wet cutting of floor tiles, flagstones,
stairs, natural stone, masonry, hollow blocks. The diamond plate is only suitable for cutting bricks,
block bricks, concrete and reinforced concrete. When cutting materials other than this, apply for a
special diamond plate at our customer service.
One of the great advantages of this easy to maintain machine is its transportability and simple
handling thanks to its weight and size. Another great feature is its precision cutting. As the machine
operates on 400 V, it requires industrial power supply. The MS700 brick cutter can be used with a
diamond saw blade having a maximum diameter of 650 mm.

protective equipment.
- This instruction manual should be supplemented by guidelines relating to the control and
specification of individual organizational units (e.g., work organization, work processes, staff in
charge of the job at hand).
- Prior to use, the person in charge of operating the machine should read the manual through. It
applies specifically to persons using the machine only in specific cases, e.g., while installing or
maintaining it.

- The staff should be checked for adherence to the instruction manual and due attention to the risk
factors affecting safety.

- Make sure the machine is installed on a flat and stable surface, and occurs in a balance state.
- After setting the cutting depth, secure the bridge with the hand lever.
- Before commencing work, make sure the diamond saw blade is ready for use, its direction of
rotation (indicated on the blade) is appropriate, and the blade is securely fixed.
- Make sure the electric connection is appropriate (Section 3.3) and prevent the wire carrying a
current from getting into contact with splashing water or humidity.
- Never use electrical equipments close to flammable or explosive materials or gases.
- Make sure that the blade shaft and related parts are properly maintained.
- Replace used cutting blades. Worn-off blades do not cut properly and may cause an accident.
- Make sure that the material to be cut is fixed and does not move off during cutting.
- Do not put your fingers near the rotating blade. Use your hands only for fixing the object securely.
- Wear protective equipment at all times (see details under Section 2.3).
- Make sure there is sufficient water in the water tank of the machine to cover the water pump at
all times. Otherwise the water pump will get overheated and damaged, thus it may cause an
accident.
2.5 Handling liquid and greasy substances, other chemicals

- Prevent liquid and greasy substances, especially high temperature liquids, from getting into
contact with your skin. In such an event, thoroughly clean the skin to remove such substances.
- Follow the safety regulations relating to such substances.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
2.6 Gas, dust, vapour, smoke
- Certain processes (soldering, grinding) involving the risk of fire or explosion, as well as jobs
requiring the use of open flame, may be performed only in possession of a licence.
- Before commencing work, thoroughly clean the machine, cables and other accessories to remove
dust and other substances involving fire hazard.

cover.
- Loosen the hexagon nut on the blade shaft (counter-clockwise) holding the external clamping disc.
- Remove the external clamping disc.
- Mount the blade on the shaft, make sure the direction of rotation of the diamond saw blade is
appropriate and the diamond saw blade rest flush with the internal clamping disc.
- The direction of rotation of the diamond saw blades is indicated on the blades. Make sure they are
properly installed to ensure maximum cutting efficiency.
- Reinstall the external clamping disc on the shaft.

avoid mud or dirt deposit that may clog the system. (After opening the bayonet lock of the water
pump, wash off any deposit of mud or flush the water pump through with clear water.) If you do
not use the machine for a lengthy period of time, remove the water pump from the water and
empty the system to avoid freezing or deposit of cut matter in the tray.
- Clean the water sprinklers and the plastic water pipes on a regular basis.
- Prior to replacing a worn out blade, disconnect the machine from electricity and wait until the
blade stops rotating (in accordance with Section 3.2).
