1 MEASUREMENTS AND INSTALLATION
Measurements in mm (inches). Wall mounting, fixing clip and screw provided.
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
- Install the device as shown in the picture
- Ensure that the working conditions are within the limits stated in the TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS section
- Do not install the device close to heat sources, equipment with a strong magnetic field,
in places subject to direct sunlight, rain, damp, excessive dust, mechanical vibrations
or shocks
- Clean the protective cap periodically (unscrew the cap from the main part of the device
and clean it using low pressure compressed air or distilled water).
2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
N.B.
- the temperature transducer works provided that the humidity one is correctly
powered
- to reduce any electromagnetic interference locate the power cables as far away as
possible from the signal cables.
4.1 Electrical connection EVHP523
Transducer calibration:
0... 100 % of relative humidity; they correspond respectively to 4 and to 20 mA.
4.2 Electrical connection EVHTP523
Humidity transducer calibration:
0... 100 % of relative humidity; they correspond respectively to 4 and to 20 mA.
Temperature transducer calibration:
-30... 70 °C; they correspond respectively to 4 and to 20 mA.
PRECAUTIONS FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
- If the device has been moved from a cold to a warm place, the humidity may have
caused condensation to form inside. Wait about an hour before connecting it to the
controller
- Disconnect the device from the controller before doing any type of maintenance
- For repairs and for further information, contact the EVCO sales network.
3 FIRST-TIME USE
1. Install following the instructions given in the section MEASUREMENTS AND
INSTALLATION.
2. Connect the device to the controller as shown in the section ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.
3. Power up the controller.

1 DIMENSIONI E INSTALLAZIONE

AVVERTENZE PER L’INSTALLAZIONE
- installare il trasduttore come indicato nel disegno
- accertarsi che le condizioni di lavoro rientrino nei limiti riportati nel capitolo DATI
TECNICI
- non installare il dispositivo in prossimità di fonti di calore, di apparecchi con forti
magneti, di luoghi soggetti alla luce solare diretta, pioggia, umidità, polvere eccessiva,
vibrazioni meccaniche o scosse
- pulire periodicamente il cappuccio protettivo (svitare il cappuccio dalla parte principale
del dispositivo e pulirlo utilizzando aria compressa a bassa pressione o acqua
distillata).
2 COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO
ATTENZIONE
- il trasduttore di temperatura funziona a condizione che quello di umidità sia
correttamente alimentato
- per ridurre eventuali disturbi elettromagnetici, collocare i cavi di potenza il più
lontano possibile da quelli di segnale.
4.1 Collegamento elettrico EVHP523
Taratura del trasduttore:
0... 100 % di umidità relativa, corrispondenti rispettivamente a 4 e a 20 mA.
4.2 Collegamento elettrico EVHTP523
Taratura del trasduttore di umidità:
0... 100 % di umidità relativa, corrispondenti rispettivamente a 4 e a 20 mA.
Taratura del trasduttore di temperatura:
-30... 70 °C, corrispondenti rispettivamente a 4 e a 20 mA.
AVVERTENZE PER IL COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO
- se il dispositivo è stato portato da un luogo freddo a uno caldo, l’umidità potrebbe aver
condensato all’interno; attendere circa un’ora prima di collegarlo al controllore
- scollegare il dispositivo dal controllore prima di procedere con qualunque tipo di
manutenzione
- per le riparazioni e per informazioni rivolgersi alla rete vendita EVCO.
3 PRIMO UTILIZZO
1. Eseguire l’installazione del modo illustrato nel capitolo DIMENSIONI E INSTALLAZIONE.
2. Collegare il dispositivo al controllore nel modo illustrato nel capitolo COLLEGAMENTO
ELETTRICO.
3. Dare alimentazione al controllore.
