remotestartmodetorestarttheengineruntimer.
NOTE: This can only be used once per remote start cycle. Ifyoudecidenotto
driveyourvehicle,youcanturnofftheremotestartusingthesamemethodtoturnit
on(keepinmindthattherstpressisconsideredtheRun Time Extender).
Uponenteringthevehicleduringremotestartmode,turntheignition•
keytothe“ON/RUN”position(NOT START!!).Whenyoupressthe
brakepedal,theremotestartwillturnoff.
Controller battery replacement:
Removethesmallscrewsfromthelower
backcase,andseparatethetransmitter
halves.Replacethebattery(s)andreas-
semblethetransmittercase.

Other Remote Start Features
Itistypicallyrecommendedthatvehiclesequippedwithturbochargedengines
allowtheenginetoidleforafterdrivingtocooltheturbocharger.WhenthisInstaller
ProgrammableFeatureisenabled,thesystemwillautomaticallykeeptheengine
runningasfollows:
• Withtheenginerunning,holdthebrakepedalandengagetheparkingbrake.
Whenthebrakepedalisreleased,thesystemwillkeeptheenginerunningforthe
programmedtime(1,2,or3minutes),andthenautomaticallyturnitoff.
• TurboTimercanbepreventedfromengaging,or“bypassed”ifdesired,byturning
  theengineoffbeforeengagingtheparkingbrake,orifit’salreadyengaged,
  steponthebrakepedaltoturntheturbotimeroff.
LOW BATTERY/LOW TEMP AUTOMATIC STARTING
TURBO TIMER FEATURE
 Thisfeaturewillautomaticallystarttheengineifthevehiclebatterydropsbelow
11voltsortheinteriortemperaturedropto15(or32)degreesfahrenheit.Youmust
activatethesefeatureseachtimeyouparkyourcartousethem.Theycanbeacti-
vatedwiththefollowingprocedure:
• Turntheignitionswitch“on”,then“off”(enginenotrunning),andwithin7seconds
pressthevaletswitchtwice.Ifthereisa2seconddelaywithoutadditionalvalet
buttonpresses,thehornwillhonk3timesactivatinglowvoltagestartmode.
• Toactivatelowtempstarting,enterlowvoltagestartmodeasdescribedabove
but,beforethehornhonks,pressthevaletswitch1time(15degrees)or2times(32
degrees)within5seconds.Thehornwillhonktoconrmyourselection.
Controller Options
SELECTING MUTE & AUDIBLE MODES
 Toselectbetweenaudible(defaultmode)andmutemodes,openthecontroller
case,removethebatteryanddooneofthefollowing:
• AUDIBLEMODE:Insertthebatterywithoutpressingthecontrollerbutton
• MUTEMODE:Insertthebatterywhilepressingthecontrollerbutton.Thegreen
lightabovethebuttonwillashonce,indicatingthatthecontrollerisinmutemode.
Youwillonlyreceivevisualconrmations(ashinggreenlight)forsystemfunctions.

PIT-STOP FEATURE
 Thisfeatureallowsyoutoleaveyourenginerunningformakingquickerrands.To
usethisfeature,havetheenginerunningnormallyfromtheignitionswitchandyour
footoffthebrakepedal.PresstheValetSwitchtwice;theparkinglightswillash.
Turnthekeyoffandtheenginewillremainrunningfortheprogrammedruntime.
 TheStatusLighthelpstovisuallyconrmsthestatusofthesystemandprovides
ahighlevelofvisualdeterrence.TheStatusLightislocatedinthewindowmount
receiverunit.
Normal System Status
1) Off=Theremotestartersystemisoff,instandbymode.
2)OnConstant=ThesystemisintheValetMode,withremotestartdisabled.
Starting System Status
TheStatusLightalsoindicatestheremotestartstatus:
3)FlashingSlow(oncepersecond):Remotestartison.
4)FlashingFast(afteractivatingremotestart):Thesystemisintheprocessofstart-
ingtheengine.
Remote Starting Diagnostics
WheneverthesystemisplacedintoValetMode,theStatusLightilluminates
solid.However,whenthisrstoccurs,theStatusLightwillash1to6ashesbe-
foreresumingsolidillumination.Thisindicateswhytheenginestoppedrunningfrom
thelastpreviousremotestartingattempt.

The Status Light
Valet Mode
Valetmodedisablestheremotestartfeature.Itshouldbeused,forexample,
whenyouhaveyourvehicleserviced.To engage Valet Mode:
• Withthesystem“unlocked”,pressandholdtheValetSwitchfor3seconds;the
StatusLightwillturnontoindicateValetMode.Attemptstoremotestartwillresultin
noresponse.Keepthisinmindifremotestartstopsfunctioning.
• ToturnoffValetMode,simplypress&releasetheValetSwitchonce.TheStatus
Lightwillturnoff.
Manual Override
Thisputsthesysteminan“unlocked”stateallowingforprogrammingoperations.
• Turnthevehicle’signition“on”.
• Pressandreleasethevaletswitchonce.

Step 1 Havealltransmitterswhicharetooperatethesystemathand.Then,
turntheignition“on”.
Step 3 Pressthebuttononeachremainingtransmitteroneatatime.Thesys-
temwillturnthelightsoffthenbackontoconrmthateachwaslearned.Ifacode
isnotreceivedwithina10secondperiod,thelearningprocesswillautomatically
terminate,asindicatedbythelightsturningoff.
Step 4 Turnthevehicle’signitionkey“off”.
Step 2 Within5secondsofturningontheignition,presstheValetSwitch5
times.Thestatuslightandparkinglightswillilluminate,conrmingthatforthenext
10secondsthesystemisreadytolearnatransmitter/controllercode.Toenter
acode,simplypressandreleasethetransmitterbutton.Whentherstcodeis
learnedallexistingstoredcodeswillbeerased.
Standard Programming: Beforestarting,besurethesystemisinan“unlocked”
statebyusingaworkingtransmitterorperformingamanualoverride.

 ~Thestatuslightandtheparkinglightswillashequaltotheselectedfeature.
Step 4Changethefeaturebypressingthebrakepedalthesamenumberoftimes
thatcorrespondswiththedesiredsetting.
 ~Thestatuslightsandtheparkinglightswillashequalingtheselectedsetting.
Step 5Ifyouwishtochangemorefeatures,repeatsteps3&4atthistime.
Step 6Toexitprogramming,turntheignitionkey“ON”then“OFF”.Or,
  youcanwait10secondsforprogrammingmodetoexpire.
Code JumpingTM Technology
 Codejumpingtechnologyusesacomplexalgorithmtochangethetransmitter’s
codeseverytimeabuttonispressedtopreventathieffromcopyingthesignal.Only
thesysteminyourcarhasthekeytodecipherthiscodeanditisnotreplicable.
Automatic Transmitter VericationTM
Therethepotentialthreatofsomeone,whohastemporaryaccesstoyourvehicle
(mechanic,valet),programmingtheirowntransmittertoyoursystem.Forexample,
someonecoulddosoandgatheryourpersonalinfofromanypaperworkinyourve-
hicle.Then,theycouldvisityourhomeandhelpthemselvestothecontentsofyour
vehiclewithoutanysignsofintrusion.ATVTMshowsyouhowmanytransmittersare
programmedtoyoursystembyashingthestatuslighteverytimeyouturnonthe
ignitionkeyfora10secondperiod.Easilyidentifyiftransmittershavebeenaddedto
yoursystem.

timeperiod.Caution: The remote engine starting feature should NEVER be
used when the vehicle is parked in an enclosed structure or garage.
