1 Abstract
1.1 Buttons
1.2 Audio Files
128 audio files can be used by the MP3-Player.
The name of the first audio file wanting to be played has to start with “001“, the
following naming after the “001” does not matter. The second file’s name has to start
with “002”, the third with “003” and so on.
When channel 1 / box 50 is going to be ignited, track 001 is going to start to play,
when channel 2 is going to be ignited, track 2 is going to start to play…
The first 60 sound files can be played directly. The rest of the sound files are only over
the „Skip Forward“function accessible.

The console is used to play MP3 sound
files and can be controlled with radio.
Only MP3 files can be processed (there
are no hearable differences to a WAV-file
because of the 320kbps coding).
A CF-memory card is used as a data
carrier.

2.3 Ch Settings
The channels can be programmed as desired.
2.3.1 Main Box
This box setting is used, when the box setting „main“ is used in the submenus „Ch-

for the sound engineer).

The settings for a direct start of the sound files can be made here.

If this function is used, the next sound file is going to be played automatically after

to be played automatically.

2.6 Restore Default
Here the settings are going to be set back, except the Secure Key.
2.7 Player Version
The player’s firmware is shown. An outdated firmware can be upgraded.
3Coding – MP3
For the coding of the MP3 files a LAME encoder with 320kbps is recommended.
The player can work up all bit rates. A bit rate under 128kpbs is NOT recommended
because of the hearable bad audio quality.
4Special functions
4.1 FSK- Modus
When the TX-70K / TX-1400K is determined in FSK-armed state, the RX-MP3 can be
started with the „Z“button on the TX-70K / TX-1400K. To pause the music, a second
push on the „Z“button is necessary. With holding the “-“button and a push on the “Z”
button the music is going to stop. When that key combination is used again, the RX-
MP3-Player resets and the first track is going to be played, when the PLAY-button is
pushed.

6Important
PLEASE NOTE:
DO NOT copy two or more files starting with the same track number on the CF card!
The MP3 Player CAN NOT receive radio signals while operating in the menu!
Most audio mixers do not have cinch outputs! To connect the RX-MP3-Player with a
mixer, you need an adaptor cable (cinch to XLR or cinch to 6.5 phone jack).
DO NOT place the MP3-Player nearer than 1 meter next to a computer, a
radio microphone or any other transmitter because it affects the reception.
Make a sound check in time before the show to assure that everything is working
correctly!
