Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, dass das Gerät nicht
beschädigt ist. Bei Beschädigung der
Anschlussleitung oder des Gerätes, letzteres
nicht benutzen, sondern von einem Elektro-
Fachmann(*) überprüfen bzw. reparieren lassen.
Eine beschädigte Anschlussleitung muss von
einem Elektrofachmann(*) ausgewechselt
werden, damit jede Gefahr gemieden wird.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu
Haushaltszwecken, wie in der
Bedienungsanleitung angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch
zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät
niemals in die Spülmaschine. Sonst kann das
Gerät beschädigt werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose,

Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die
Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder
knicken Sie sie nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf
eine ebene Fläche, damit es nicht umfällt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät vollständig
erkaltet ist, bevor Sie es reinigen oder
wegräumen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung
nicht mit den heißen Teilen des Gerätes in
Kontakt kommt.
Während des Gebrauchs können zugängliche
Teile des Gerätes eine sehr hohe Temperatur
erreichen. Berühren Sie diese heißen Teile

während des Backvorganges nicht mit leicht
entflammbarem Material, wie Gardinen,
Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen.
Brandgefahr!
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Beschichtung nicht
abgekratzt wird, da ansonsten kleine Teile der
Beschichtung in die Nahrung gelangen.
Benutzen Sie einen Holzspatel oder einen
wärmebeständigen Plastikspatel, um die
Nahrung aus dem Gerät zu nehmen.



Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose,
wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, da das Gerät
keinen An-/Aus-Schalter besitzt.
Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum
Backen und zum Verzehr geeignet sind.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe
Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.
Achtung: Wenn das Symbol auf einer
bestimmten Fläche des Gerätes angebracht
wurde, ist dies ein Warnhinweis. Dieses Symbol
bedeutet: ACHTUNG, diese Fläche kann
während des Gebrauches heiß werden.
Das Symbol wurde immer angebracht auf der

INBETRIEBNAHME
Während des ersten Gebrauchs entwickelt die Antihaftbeschichtung Qualm. Dieser Rauch
ist NICHT schädlich. Dennoch wird es angeraten, das Gerät erst 10 Minuten leer
funktionieren zu lassen mit dem Thermostat auf Maximalstellung 5.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch sind die Platten mit einem feuchten Tuch zu reinigen.
Schließen Sie das Gerät und stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose.
Schieben Sie den Thermostat zur gewünschten Stellung zwischen "1" und "5". Die rote
Kontrollleuchte wird aufleuchten und anzeigen, dass das Gerät funktioniert und aufheizt.
Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht während der Vorwärmung um keine Energie zu verschwenden.
Die grüne Kontrollleuchte wird ebenfalls aufleuchten, sobald das Gerät die gewünschte
Temperatur erreicht hat. Jetzt können Sie mit dem Garen anfangen. Während des
Gebrauchs wird diese Kontrollleuchte regelmäßig an- und ausgehen. Das bedeutet, dass
die Betriebstemperatur geregelt wird.
Achtung! Während des Gebrauchs werden die Backplatten heiß. Berühren Sie sie nicht!
Öffnen Sie das aufgeheizte Gerät indem Sie den Griff hochheben und fetten Sie die
Backplatten leicht ein mit Butter, Margarine oder Speiseöl.
Füllen Sie den Teig in die Aussparungen der unteren Backplatte und schließen Sie den
Deckel. Drücken Sie den Deckel einen Moment fest herunter, damit sich der Teig
gleichmäßig verteilt. Füllen Sie nicht zuviel Teig ein, dieser läuft ansonsten an den Seiten
heraus.
Backen Sie die Waffeln je nach gewünschtem Bräunungsgrad. Wenn nötig, passen Sie die
Temperatur durch Schieben des Thermostats an.
Wenn die Waffeln fertig sind, nehmen Sie diese bitte mit einem Holz- oder
Kunststoffspachtel heraus. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstände und
keine Metallgegenstände, da ansonsten die Antihaftbeschichtung der Backplatten
beschädigt werden kann.
Nach Beendigung des Backens schieben Sie den Thermostat zur Stellung "1", ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät auf, damit die Backplatten
abkühlen können.
REZEPTE
GRUNDREZEPT FÜR GOLD BRAUNE WAFFELN
250 g Mehl
½ l Milch
2 Eier
6 Esslöffel Öl
1 Teelöffel Packpulver
1 Teelöffel Zucker
1 Prise Salz
Eigelb vom Ei trennen. Eigelb, Milch, Mehl, Backpulver, Öl und Salz zusammen verrühren bis es
eine cremige Masse ergibt. Eiweiß steif schlagen und mit der cremigen Masse
vermischen/unterheben. Waffeln gold braun backen (etwa 2 bis 4 Minuten). Waffeln nach
Ihren Wünschen backen (ca. 2 bis 3 min.) und nach Ihren Wünschen garnieren.



PFLEGEHINWEISE
Gerät vom Netz trennen und das Gerät und die Platten abkühlen lassen bevor sie
gereinigt werden.
Wischen Sie die Außenseite mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, und vergewissern Sie sich, dass
keine Feuchtigkeit, Öl oder Fett in das Gerät dringt.
Wischen Sie die Backplatten mit einem weichen Tuch oder mit Küchenpapier.
Niemals mit metallenen Gegenständen reinigen oder Schleif- und Scheuermittel
verwenden.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before
using the appliance, and always follow the safety
and operating instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children
over 8 years old and people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of
experience or knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the safe use
of the appliance and the risks involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never

the appliance.
Make sure the appliance never comes into
contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire
might occur.
Be careful not to scratch the special coating of
the baking plates, as you might get little pieces of
this coating into the food. Use a classical wooden
spatula or a heat-resistant plastic one.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in
use, especially since it is not equipped with an
on/off switch.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed
to be cooked.
Your appliance must never be switched on
through an external timer or any kind of separate
remote control system.
Please note: Should the symbol be indicated
on a certain surface, you need to be careful when
handling the product. This symbol means:
CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during
use.
The symbol is always put on the surface with
the highest temperature, however the other
metallic or non-metallic surfaces can also
become very hot during use and it is therefore
advisable to always handle them with care and if

concerning the temperature of a certain surface it
is always preferable to protect oneself.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales
department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to
perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all
danger. In case of need you should return the
appliance to this electrician (www.ggv-service.de).
USE
Protective coating burn off will cause smoking on first use. This is NOT harmful and will
disappear after a short time. Therefore it is recommended to let your appliance work
empty for 10 minutes before the first use with the thermostat on the maximum position (5).
When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plates with a damp cloth, then dry.
Close the appliance and plug into the electrical outlet.
Select a temperature between "1" and "5" with the thermostat knob. The red pilot light will
come on to indicate that the appliance is switched on and heating.
Leave the appliance closed during preheating in order to avoid a waste of energy.
The green ready light will come on as well when the cooking temperature is reached.
Now you can start the baking process. During use, this ready light will come on and off
regularly. This simply means that the thermostat is regulating the appliance's temperature.
Attention: during operation, the baking plates heat up. Pay attention not to get burned.
Open the appliance by lifting the handle and lightly brush the baking plates with butter,
margarine or cooking oil.
Pour the dough evenly into the notches of the bottom baking plate but not all the way to
the edges and close the appliance. Press the lid down for a moment to spread the dough
evenly on the baking plate. Do not overfill as dough might come out of the appliance.
Bake until golden brown. If necessary, you can adapt the temperature setting during use
by turning the thermostat.
When the waffles are ready, remove them with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use
any sharp or metallic objects, as this might damage the non-stick coating of the baking
plates.
When you have finished baking, turn the thermostat to position "1", unplug the appliance
and leave it open so that the baking plates can cool down.

Separate egg proteins from the yolks. Mix the egg yolks, milk, flour, baking powder, oil and salt
together until you will get creamy mixture. Beat the whites properly for a stiff foam and mix
together with creamy mixture. Bake until golden brown (about 2 to 4 minutes). Bake in waffle
maker to achieve the desired color (browned approx. 2-3 minutes) and serve with your favorite
toppings.

CLEANING
Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.

requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a
function to minimize the power consumption, which should according to regulation

Vérifiez régulièrement l’état de votre appareil et

soit, ne l'utilisez pas mais faites-le vérifier et
réparer par un service qualifié compétent(*). Si le

Posez cet appareil sur une table ou un support

Veuillez laisser refroidir votre appareil avant

Note: Lorsque le symbole est apposé sur une
surface particulière, il accentue la mise en garde

Le symbole est toujours apposé sur la surface
dont la température est la plus élevée, cependant
les températures des autres surfaces métalliques
ou non peuvent aussi devenir très chaudes

toujours les manipuler avec précaution et si

UTILISATION
Lors de la première utilisation la couche antiadhésive produira de la fumée. Celle-ci n'est
pas nocive et s’estompera rapidement. Il est tout de même préconisé lors de la première
utilisation de laisser fonctionner votre appareil pendant une dizaine de minutes sans
nourriture et avec le thermostat sur la position maximale (5).
Lorsque vous utilisez votre appareil pour la première fois, essuyez-le avec un chiffon
humide.
Fermez votre appareil et branchez la fiche de votre appareil dans la prise de courant.
Sélectionnez une température entre "1" et "5" à l’aide du thermostat. Le témoin lumineux
rouge s’allume, vous indiquant ainsi que l’appareil est sous tension et qu'il chauffe.
Pendant le préchauffage, l’appareil doit rester fermé afin d’éviter une perte de chaleur.



Lorsque la température désirée est atteinte, le témoin lumineux vert s’allume aussi. Vous
pouvez maintenant procéder à la cuisson. Pendant l'utilisation, ce témoin lumineux se
rallumera et s'éteindra régulièrement. Cela signifie simplement que le thermostat règle la
température de l'appareil.
Attention: pendant l'utilisation, les plaques deviennent chaudes. Faites attention de ne
pas vous brûler.
Ouvrez entièrement l’appareil en levant la poignée et enduisez légèrement les plaques
de cuisson de matière grasse telle que du beurre, de la margarine ou toute autre graisse
de cuisson.
Déposez la pâte sur les plaques du bas de façon à ce qu’elle se répartisse équitablement
dans tous les interstices puis fermez l’appareil. Ne mettez pas trop de pâte sinon celle-ci
risque de déborder sur les côtés.
Faites cuire selon vos goûts. Si nécessaire, ajustez la température en cours de
fonctionnement à l'aide du thermostat.
Lorsque les gaufres sont cuites, retirez-les de l’appareil à l’aide d’une spatule en bois ou
en plastique. N'utilisez pas d'objets métalliques ou griffants car ils risqueraient
d'endommager le revêtement antiadhésif des plaques.
Lorsque vous avez terminé d’utiliser l’appareil, mettez le thermostat sur la position "1",
débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le ouvert afin que les plaques puissent refroidir.
RECETTES
GAUFRES DORÉES
250 g de farine
½ l de lait
2 œufs
6 cuillères à soupe d’huile
1 cuillère à thé de levure
1 cuillère à thé de sucre
Prise de sel
Séparez les blancs et les jaunes des œufs. Battez les jaunes avec le lait, la farine, la levure,
l’huile et le sel jusqu’à obtention d’un mélange crémeux. Battez les blancs des œufs
soigneusement en neige très ferme et mélangez avec le mélange crémeux. Faites cuire
jusqu’à ce que les gaufres soient dorées (environ 2 à 4 minutes). Faites cuire dans le gaufrier
pour atteindre la couleur désirée (environ 2 à 3 minutes pour brunir) et servez avec vos
garnitures préférées.



NETTOYAGE
Veuillez retirer la fiche de la prise de courant et attendre que l’appareil et les plaques
refroidissent totalement avant de les nettoyer.
Essuyez l’intérieur et les angles de l’appareil à l’aide de papier absorbant ou d’un chiffon
doux.
Essuyez l’extérieur de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon légèrement humide, en vous assurant
que l'humidité, l’huile ou la graisse ne s’infiltre pas dans les aérations de refroidissement de
l’appareil.
Ne nettoyez jamais votre appareil (extérieur et intérieur) à l’aide de produits abrasifs car
cela abîmerait le revêtement.
N'immergez pas l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide.
