2. Check Local Network
2.1 Check Local Network Range
Windows 7/Vista
For example:
Windows XP
#1. Using laptop or any PC in customer’s local network,
Click on “Start” -> Type “cmd” ->Press Enter-> Type “ipconfig” -> Press Enter
* The local network range is 192.168.0.XX
WARNING:
NVR and IP cameras must be within the same local IP address

3. Setup Eyeonet NVR IP address to local network
Eyeonet NVR default setting is DHCP. Please manually assign IP address tp NVR
WARNING:
#1. NVR live view mode -> Right click and go to “Main Menu” -> “Setting” ->“Network”
NVR IP address should be within Local Network Range

IP address Range: The first three group number must be the same, No duplicated number in the fourth group

#1. Change your PC/Laptop IP address to 192.168.1.XX to match IP camera address

4.1 Method 1- Automatically change IPC address by ConfigTool

4. Setup IPC Address
Model: CAM-IP-9***
Plug only IPC to switch to finish the setting, then one by one to avoid IP conflict.
There are methods to change IPC address, you can choose any one works for you.

#1. Download “Configtool” from Eyeonet NVR website,
or find it from the CD package
http://www.ameta.ca/upload_files/download_file/EYEONET%20Config%20Tool%20V1.06_001.zip
* This File must be unzip before use.
#2.Open this Configtool, the IP camera default address 192.168.1.108
Double Click on the IP address to login and change IP camera address to match local network
#3.Repeat step #2 to change IPC address -> one by one until finish.

#1. Type IP camera default IP address(192.168.1.108) in Internet Explorer

5. Install ActiveX Control in IE Browser
#1. Type IP camera address in Internet Explorer
#2. For the first time to login IP camera, ActiveX control needs to be installed as below:
*If having trouble in installing ActiveX, Go to IE ->“tool” -> “Internet Option” -> “set Prompt” to unsigned ActiveX

#1. Setup Motion function in IP camera
* This setting only applies to one camera at one time.

#3. Setup Resolution & FPS in IP camera #6. Default Ports for IPC : 80 and 37777(DO NOT Change)

7.1 Add IPC to NVR W/POE
#2. Go to NVR live view-> Right click “Remote Device” or Go to “Main Menu” -> “Remote Device”
#1. Connect IP cameras to NVR POE port directly, wait for 2-3 min,
The link light and Activity light are flashing
See All IP cameras in NVR live view.
(Green) (Yellow)
* IP cameras address will show up in the list. If not, please re-plug network cable.

7. Add IPC to NVR
Model: Eyeonet standalone NVR with POE

7.2 Add 1-4 IPC to NVR W.O/POE
#1. Go to NVR live view-> Right click “Remote Device” or Go to “Main Menu” -> “Remote Device”
#2. Click on “IP search” -> the first 4 IP cameras will come up in the list
* Each IP camera has 2 Protocol : ONVIF and Eyeonet, please choose “Eyeonet” for CAM-IP-9***
Others may choose “ONVIF”
Pick up all IP cameras which are using Eyeonet protocol -> click on “Add”

7. Add IPC to NVR

7.3 Add 5-16 IPC to NVR W.O/POE
Change Frames and Bit rate for Regular Stream and Extra Stream * How Many frames and bit rate are good?
Please take a look the table for reference
#1. Go to NVR Main menu -> “setting” -> “Encode”

WARNING: Avoid bit rate or FPS overload, we need to adjust the setting in NVR

8. Add IPC/NVR in CMS
#1. Open PSS software -> Device Manager-> Add NVR or IP camera information
#2. Change Division you need to view -> Drag IPC or NVR name into channel 1
