Installation
•Installationofthewaterheaterbody
*TheHeight
Standardfortheheightoftheheateristhattheheightoftheflameinspectionhole(flame
peepwindow)shouldbehorizontallyatthelevelofyoureyes.
*MounttheHeaterBody
1.Fixtheupperpartoftheheaterwith
asteelexpansionboltoramounting
screw,thenfixtheheaterwithtwo
mountingscrewsattheholesofthe
lowerbracket.
2.Ifthewallforthemountingisof
combustiblematerial,insulationoffire
resistanceisneededbetweenthe
wallandtheheater.Thethicknessof
theinsulationshouldbenotlessthan
10mm.
3.Spacesshouldbeleftbetweenthe
roof/wallandtheheater.(Refertothe
diagram)
4.Twoholesof130cmforairinhaleandexhaustdischargerespectivelyarerequiredfor
theroomtheheaterisinstalled.Thetwoholesshouldbeseparatelyinthevicinityofthe
floorandtheroofandhasaccesstooutdoor.Theholesshouldbefarfromexhaust
dischargepipetoavoidcountercurrent.Whenblindsareusedforairinhaleandexhaust
discharge,theminimumspacebetweentheleafsshouldbenotlessthan8mm.
•ConnectWaterPipes
Thejointsforconnectingof
waterinletandoutletis
screwthreadwithdiameter
of1/2 NPT.Refertothe
diagramfortheconnecting.

•Installationofthewaterinletpipe
-Connectthemetallichoseandsealwasherenclosedwiththeheaterandwater
supplypipe.
-Awaterinletcontrolvalveisrequiredtobeconnectedwiththewaterinletpipe(thehose).
-Tokeepnormaloperationoftheheater,itisrequiredthattheinputwaterpressureis
higherthanratedinputwaterpressure.
•Connectionofthehotwatersupplypipe
-Hotwatersupplypipecanusetheflexiblemetaltube(asshortaspossible)for
connection,ortherigidwaterpipefordirectconnection.Asshowninthedrawing,ifrigid
waterpipeisusedasthehotwatersupplypipe,ithadbetterbedeoxidizedcopperpipeor
stainlesssteelpipe.
-Ifhotwatersupplyisneededoveralongdistance,thenacontrolvalvehadbetterbe
installedonthehotwatersupplypipe.
-Iftheheightforhotwatervalveishigherthanthatoftheheater,anotherhotwatervalve
hastobeinstalledataplacelowerthantheheatertodrainwaterremainedinthepipeand
topreventfreezing.
-Materialofthehotwaterpipeshouldbehightemperatureresistant.
-Thehotwaterpipeshouldbenottoolongtoreduceheatlossanditisrecommended
thatthesprayerwithlesspressurelossbeused.
•Installationofthegassupplypipe
Thesizeofthejointconnectinggasinletoftheheaterandthehoseis1/2 NPT(screw
thread).
*ConnecttoLPgascylinder
1.Connectthejointenclosedinthepackagetogas
inletoftheheater(makesurethesealwasherbe
installed);thenconnectthejointwithspecializedgas
hose(rubber)of9.55mminnerdiameterasshownin
thediagram.
2.Makesurepropergaspressureregulatorisused
(Standardgaspressureis11 WCforLPgas,8WCfor
NG.Gaspressureregulatorforcommercialuseis
prohibited.
3.AgasvalveshouldbeinstalledatGasInlet.

1.Itisrequiredthatonlyspecializedrubbergashoseormetallicpipeapprovedbygas
supplierbeusedfortheconnecting.

•Installationoftheventingpipe
Onlyventingpipeandtheaccessoriesenclosedinthepackageisallowedthbeusedfor
venting.
Thediameteroftheventingpipeis90mm,theholeonthe
mountingwallforventingpipeshouldbeattheplace120mm
abovefromtheplaceofexpansionboltforthemountingofthe
waterheater.Diameteroftheholeis70mm.Whentheventing
pipeisproperlyinstalled,sealthejointbysealedband.Andthe
interfacebetweentheventingpipeandthemountingwallshould
besealedwithfireproofmaterialorconcretematerial.Referto
thediagramfortheinstallation.
•Standardinstallationoftheventingpipe
•Installationofprolongedventingpipe
Extraaccessories(elbowandstraightpipe)ofthisinstallationshouldbepurchasedby
user.

•Attention
-Thefluepipewiththetypeorspecificationotherthanspecifiedoneshouldn'tbe
mountedforthewaterheater,andthefluepipeshouldn'tbemodifiedbyyourself.
-Ifitneedtoprolongthefluepipe,italsoneedtousetherigidpipe(deviceand
specificationasshownasdrawing).Thetotalofthestraightpipeisnomorethan3m,and
thetotaloftheelbowsarenomorethan3m.
-Ventingoutletshouldbenotpointatventingtunnelorchimneyofthebuilding.
-Aslopewithagradeof1shouldberequiredfortheinstallationoftheventingpipeto
dischargethecondensationwater.
-Itshouldcoverthicknessofmorethan20mmwithheatinsulationmaterialwhenfluepipe
crossingtheflammablewall.
-Thespaceismorethan55cmbetweenfluepipeandtheeavesofceiling,flammable
materialsandfurniture.
-You'dbetternotburythefluepipeinsidetheceiling,ifyouhavetodoso,youshould
wrapthepipewithfireretardantandinsulationmaterialswiththecoveringthicknessof
morethan20mm.
-Thegasbetweenthefluepipeandtheholeshouldnotbefilledwithsomethinglike
cement,otherwisetherepairingwouldbecomedifficult.
-Thespacebetweentheventingoutletandthewallofoutdoorandinstallation
precautionsasthefollowingdrawing.

•AdjustingWaterTemperature
Rotatinggasregulatortoadjustwatertemperaturebychangingthegasflow.
Duetothemaximalcapabilityoftheheater(16Lwaterheaterisrisingtemperature25k/h,
andthewateroutputis16/min),thefollowingsituationmaycausethetemperatureof
watersupplycannotmeetthesettingwatertemperature:
(1)Whenthewaterinlettemperatureistoohighinsummer,butrequiringthetemperature
ofwateroutletislower.
(2)Whenthewaterinlettemperatureistoolowinwinter,butrequiringthetemperatureof
wateroutletishigher.
Theabovesituationiscompensationadjustingwhenthesettingtemperatureexceedsthe
temperaturewhichtheadjustingisunderthenormalcondition.Itjustneedsonecondition
inaseason,butnottoadjusteverytime.

Dailymaintenance
1.Checkthegassupplypipe(rubberhose)regularlytosee
ifitisingoodcondition,orthereisagingorcrackonthe
hose.Besuretoreplacetheoldhoseregularly.Please
regularlyusesoapwatertocheckthejointsofhosetosee
ifthereisbubble,soastofindoutifthereisgasleakage
onthejoints.Besuretostoptheleakageifitisfound.
2.Pleaseregularlycleansurfaceofwaterheaterbodyto
removedirtordustwithwetcloth,andthenusethedry
clothtowipeoffmoisture.Forthedirtthatisnoteasytoremove,pleaseuseneutral
detergenttowipeoff.Fortheplasticpart,printingsurfacesandsprayingsurfaces,itisnot
suitabletousestrongdetergent,benzeneorgasolinetocleanthem.
3.Keeptheeachsectionoftheexhaustpipeunblockedsoastoensurethesmooth
dischargeofexhaustgas.
4.Whenthehardwaterisused,itiseasytoformthescale.Thescalecanreducetheheat
efficiency,increasetheresistanceforflowingwateranddecreasetheperformanceofthe
heater.Inordertoreducethescale,youcanoperatethewaterheateraccordingtothe
followingmethod:afterusingthewaterheater,switchoffthegasvalveandletallthehot
waterflowoutofwaterheater,andasthecoldwaterflowsoutofthewaterheater,youcan
switchoffthewaterinletvalve.

Troubleshooting
Thefollowingarenormalconditionandcan'tberegardedastroubles.
-Thewhiteflueisdischargedoutfromventingpipe:whenthetemperatureofoutdooris
low,thevaporinthedischargedflueisthestateofwhitesmoke,butnottrouble.
-Afterstoppingwateroutput,thefanwon'tstopimmediately:inordertolettheinsideof
waterheatercooldownandmakethewastegastobedischargedcompletely,thefanof
waterheaterneedstooperateawhileafterstoppingprovidingwater.Thisconditionwon't
belongtotrouble.
-Whenthewaterflowcrossingtheheaterislessandtheflowisbelow3L/min,themain
burnercan'tbeignited(orflame-out),whichbelongstothenormalcondition.It'sjustto
increasethewaterflow.
-Thewaterheaterissetthetimerequipment,itwillstopoperatingautomaticallyafter
usingabout30minutes,andthedisplayshowsHE,whichbelongstothenormal
condition.

Whenthewaterheaterisintroubleoroperationisimproper,theheaterwillstopoperating
automatically,andthedisplayshowsthetroublesign.Atthemoment,switchoffthewater
outletvalve,thenswitchonit,oradjusttheswitchonthemaincontrolplateto"off",then
adjusttheswitchto"on",sothewaterheatercanbeoperatedagain.Ifitstillhastrouble
display(ornon-display)whenoperatingtheheateragain,pleaseswitchoffthegasand
themainssocket,thencontacttheservicecenter.
