Introduction
Thanks for choosing MiraScreen! The MiraScreen X6SE contains
the cutting-edge MiraScreen technology, and firmware upgrade will
be provided accordingly in order to compatible with latest devices.
The MiraScreen X6SE cooperates with the EZCast App, which
supports iOS, Android. Please read the installation guide below to
setup your MiraScreen X6SE. Let’s enjoy mirroring!

1．Please follow below steps to connect X6SE to TV,
Monitor and Projector
Please connect your X6SE to your TV/Monitor/Projector (Refer to
Picture①)

Note: In general, the audio and video quality of HD port should be
better thanVGA port.
2. iOS user guide
①Connect with iPhone/iPad
Step 1. Plug X6 converter to the TV/projector/screen HD port via
HD cable (male to male) (refer to picture 1).
Step 2. Plug one end (the smaller one) of the USB cable into X6SE
and the other end of the cable (the bigger one, USB Type-A) to
external 5V/1A power adapter (refer to picture 1).
Step 3. Establish the connection between iPhone/iPad with
Lightening cable and please wait for a few seconds for
initialization (refer to picture 1). Supporting OS: iOS 9+
Step 4. Please selects the right TV or the projector HD output
source, setup screen will be displayed on the screen below (refer
to picture 2).

Note: A trust window will pop out; please select “Trust this
Windows”
Note: Some iOS devices may pop out “This accessory may not be
supported” please feel at ease to use, as this is a normal situation.

Step 1. Insert a paper clip into the hole on the MiraScreen X6SE, and
push the key inside the hole to switch to “Plug & Play mode” as
below (refer to picture 4)
Step 2. Please turn on the Personal Hotspot for connection over IP as
shown below. (Refer to Picture5)

Step 3. After establishing the connection between iOS devices and
X6SE, a “wire” icon shows on the TV; please check from steps 1 to
steps3 if the connection failed which shown as “X”(refer to picture
6).
Note:Cellular (3G/4G) data is needed at your iOS device
Step 4. Download EZCast app from Apple App store or scan the QR
code to download EZCast app.
Step 5. Launch EZCast app, click the “Wire” button to establish
connection between your iOS device and MiraScreen X6. After that
please click the “Menu” button on the side bar, MiraScreen setup
page will show on your TV (refer to Picture 8).

Note: Please do not power off during upgrade
Step 6. After upgrade, please insert a paper clip into the hole on the
MiraScreen X6SE, and push the key inside the hole to switch to
“Plug & Play mode “and enjoy X6SE converter.
④. Setting resolution
Step 1. Insert a paper clip into the hole on the MiraScreen X6SE, and
push the key inside the hole to switch to “Setup & Airplay” mode.
Step 2. Switch on hotspot on iOS devices
Step 3. Launch EZCast app and click the “Wire” button to establish
connection between your iOS device and MiraScreen X6SE. After that
please click the “Menu” button on the side bar
Step 4. Click “Setting” button
Step 5. Use iOS keyboard to control and select resolution option
Step 6. Click “Resolution” and select your favorite resolution
(1080p for example) (refer to picture 5).

3. Android user guide
1. Connect MiraScreen X6SE with your Android devices
Plug one end (smaller one, micro USB) of the USB power cable into
your MiraScreen X6SE and the other end of the USB power cable
(bigger one, USB Type-A) into an external 5V1A power adapter.
Use your micro USB (or USB Type-C) cable to connect your Android
device and MiraScreen X6SE (bigger one, USB Type-A)(Refer to
picture 1).
2. Software installation
Please download EZCast app from Google Play Store, you may also
scan the QR code shown on your TV to download EZCast app
Note: Supports Android 4.4+
Note: Not all of Android 4.4 devices support USB mirror
3. Android USB tethering mode (refer to picture 7)
Please launch the “EZCast” app, and click the “Wire” button.
After that please click the “Connect” button, and then enable
“USB tethering”. Then you may start mirroring your Android
screen.
Note: Supports Android 5.0 and above, audio stays on the phone
due to Android limitation. After mirroring, please do not turn off
EZCast app.

Note: If you encounter the phone or tablet itself system upgrade and
resulting in abnormal use of the device, please click EZCast
application/Firmware upgrade feature to upgrade the dongle
firmware version online. Please refer to page 5-6, Firmware Upgrade,
for more details.
4. Android USB Mirror mode (USB Debugging mode)
USB Mirror mode is an alternative for supporting more Android
devices (4.4 and above). Please launch the “EZCast” app, and then
enable “USB tethering” according to previous section.
Click the “Menu” button, and then “USB Mirror” button on
menu page (refer to picture 11), and follow the App instructions to
enable “USB debugging”(refer to picture 12). You may start
mirroring your Android screen. If “USB Mirror” failed to enable,
please unplug USB cable from your Android device, and then re-plug
in for retry.

Note: Supports Android 4.4 and above
Note: USB debugging should be turned on for activating USB Mirror.
Note: Not all Android 4.4 devices support USB Mirror.
Note: Not all mobile phone tablets that support USB mirroring
Support audio sync output
5. Android Audio Control
Some Android phones may not transfer the audio to the TV via USB
cable. In order to not affect the video image, please follow the steps
below to change the audio output and keep the audio staying on the
phone.
Launch EZCast app; click the “Wire” icon on the function page in
the upper right corner to establish the connection between your
phone and the dongle. Then click the menu icon on the upper left
corner of the function page, click “Setting” and you will see the
setting page below, select “Audio Output “icon to keep audio stay
on the phone (refer to picture13).

Note: Due to the EZCast app will update time to time to compatible
with up-to-date devices. More information about EZCast app, please
refer to www.iezvu.com for reference.
4. Setting and upgrade (compatible with
Mac/Windows/iOS/Android)
Launch EZCast app and connect your device to MiraScreen X6SE,
click setting and start to configure MiraScreen X6. (Refer to picture
13)

Language: Change the language of MiraScreen X6SE
Resolution: Change our put resolution of MiraScreen X6SE
Upgrade: upgrade the firmware of MiraScreen.
Note: Required Internet connection your devices.
IMPORTANT! Please upgrade to the latest version in order to
compatible with up-to- date devices (iOS and Android).
Note: it may consume some 3G / 4G data during firmware upgrade.
