Alla fine del ciclo vita del prodotto, non buttare questo
prodotto nei rifiuti normali ma consegnarlo ad un centro di

Test/
Hush
Button
• When there is no alarm present, long-pressing
the button will activate the detector to check
its operation. The detector will sound and the
LED will flash rapidly. The unit will return to
normal condition in about 10s when the test is
completed.
• When the detector is in the Alarm condition,
pressing the button will hush the detector for
approximately 1 minute. After the Hush time
has expired, the detector will return to normal
sensitivity.

hush condition.
• 1 flash every 40s: Smoke chamber fault
or low battery.
Green • 1 flash every second: Coding in progress.
• On for 10s: Coding successfully.

alarm memory.

Switch to turn on/off the detector.
Coding
Button
Press to interconnect to other detector.
Interconnected detectors will activate sounders on
all units if any of them detects smoke and only the
onethatdetectedsmokewillashtheredLED.This
allows the home owner to quickly locate the cause of
the alarm.

Operations
Add to Alarm Hub
The EZVIZ alarm hub should be purchased separately.
Option 1 Add by EZVIZ App
1.Get the EZVIZ App
- Connect your mobile phone to Wi-Fi(suggested).
- Search for "EZVIZ" in the App Store or Google PlayTM.
- Download and install the EZVIZ app.
- Launch the app and register an EZVIZ user account.
2.Add detector to EZVIZ
- Log in to your account using the EZVIZ app.
- Find your Alarm Hub and enter its detail page.
- Tap “+” and scan the QR code on the detector to add it
to the Alarm Hub.
Option 2 Add by Alarm Hub
- Press the setting button on Alarm Hub to turn on the
“Adding Detectors Mode”.
- Take the detector close to the Alarm Hub (within 50cm)
and press the Test/Hush button on the detector.

- The detector LED indicator flashs green, which means
the detector
signal is successfully triggered.
- The Alarm Hub issues a voice prompt of the device
type and serial number indicating the detector has
been added.
Interconnection

WARNING: Do not connect this detector to any other devices of
different model. Connecting anything else to this detector may
prevent it from working properly.
Up to 12 detectors can be interconnected, with a typical
distance of 30m indoors and 100m in free space.

3.Turn on the power switch on the bottom of the second
detector.

4.Short press down the coding button on the bottom of
the second detector, and the LED indicator ashes green,
approximately once every second.

5.At this time, the two detectors are in the coding mode. The
period of coding is about 60 seconds.
If two green LEDs of the detectors are illuminated at the
sametime, no ashing,which indicates thattwo detectors
have built a new wireless interconnection, and the coding is
successful. Otherwise, after 60 seconds, two detectors will
exit the coding mode automatically.

6.Repeat the above steps for other detectors (up to 12).
7.Once all detectors are interconnected, press the Test/Hush
button on each detector, and check the detector sounder
operates on all interconnected detectors.
8.Check that the red LED adjacent to the Test/Hush button
operates only on the detector being tested.

WARNING: The detector has a loud alarm signal. Use
hearing protection when testing detectors.
Detectors should be interconnected within only one family
residence. Otherwise, you might encounter nuisance alarms
when a detector is operated or tested in another residence.
Disable the Interconnect Function
PressandholdthecodingbuttonuntiltheLEDindicatorashes
red slowly. Approximate 5 seconds later, the red LED begins
toashquickly,thenreleasethebutton.Atthesametimethe
detector will make a beep, to indicate it is successful that the
detector has exited the wireless network, has returned to the
factory default settings.
Installation
Prepration
Location selection: The detector is to be used as minimum
equipment in all bedrooms, children's rooms and hallways
which act as escape routes, and are to be installed in each
case in the middle of the room, on the ceiling only (do not
install on wall).
Equipment: Before commencing installation, ensure all
equipment and tools to mount and test the detector are
available, such as drills, mounting screws (supplied) and
ladders.
WARNING: To avoid the electrical shock hazard, turn off power
to the area where you plan to install the detector at the fuse box
or circuit breaker box.

Installation Steps
1.At the place where you are going to install the detector, draw
a 150 mm line.
2.Remove the mounting bracket from your detector by rotating
it counterclockwise, and keep the detector safe from any drill
dust.
3.Place the bracket so that the two longest hole slots are
aligned on the line. In each of keyhole slots, draw a mark to
locate the mounting plugs.
4.Remove the bracket from the ceiling.
5.Drill two 5 mm (3/16-inch) holes at the marks and insert the
expansion screws
.
6.Attach the bracket to the ceiling with the metal screws.
7.Align the slot of the bracket with the detector, push the
detector onto the mounting bracket, and turn it clockwise to
lock it into place.
8.Gently pull outward on the detector to make sure it is securely
attached to the mounting bracket.
9.Press the Test/Hush button to check the detector audible
warningoperatesandtheLEDindicatorashesredrapidly.
Once installed and tested, your detector will immediately start
monitoring for smoke.

Maintenance
Weekly Tests
1.Press the Test/Hush button on each detector.
2.Check the detector sounder operates with a loud audible
signal pattern (0.5s on, 0.5s off for 3 cycles, followed by 1.5s
off, repeating) sound, and the red LED adjacent to the Test/

3.For interconnected detectors, check the detector sounder
operates on all interconnected detectors and the red LED
adjacent to the Test/Hush button operates only on the
detector being tested. Repeat the test on all interconnected

Annual Maintenance
1.Vacuum or carefully wipe the cover of the detector to remove
any dust, lint or dirt around the openings of the detector. Do
not spray aerosols into the detector.
2.After annual maintenance, test all detectors.
Low Battery Alert
When the battery is depleted, the detector will emit a short
audiblesignal,andtheLEDindicatorwillashonceevery40s
for at least 30 days. When the low battery signal is given, change
the detector without delay. The battery is not user-replaceable.

Smoke Chamber Fault
If a Smoke Chamber Fault occurs, vacuum the cover of the
detector to remove any dust, lint or dirt around the openings. If
the fault continues, replace the detector.
